Chapter 16: Chapter 16 Normal days at the yard

Somewhere in the scrap yard owned by Kyle Aila can be seen fixing the doll that she has been fixing for a couple of months ago 

"Aila that doll that you been fixing a couple of months ago still not functioning?" 

Lea asks as Aila continues to tweak the doll structure 

"What are you going to do with that doll anyway your just wasting time" 

"This doll's structure was used by Lisa means this structure is compatible with an ancient microchip" 

Aila keeps on tweaking the torso part of the doll on the ground while Lea is messing with the information terminal 

"Hey guys I bought the parts and I think it cost over 20 million creds"

Kyle appears at the entrance of the scrap yard carrying a tray full of doll parts and the metal cube from the factory

"Give me all the doll parts and carry that cube to Lisa " 

Kyle proceeds to follow Aila's commands and drop the doll parts and went to the workbench where the custom bullet machine that Aila created 

"Yo Lisa I brought the cube"

Kyle waved his hand to Lisa trying to get her attention Lisa placed a microwave on the workbench and inserted a wire from her neck to the microwave 

"I don't think this microwave has a USB port" 

Kyle joked about the microwave Lisa's eyes started to glow red with a little bit of flicking lights and soon after the microwave starts to turn on and produce a loud rattling noise 

"Place the cube inside the microwave Kyle and lock it by the buttons beside the handle"

Kyle does as Lisa instructed and the microwave starts to do its thing by spinning the cube inside of it soon after a small explosion sound can be heard inside the microwave removing some of the metal parts of the cube 

"When the thing is done prepare the bullet workbench and open its material drawer and turn the machine on" 

A ting sound from the microwave is been heard and Kyle immediately does as he was told and prep the table soon Lisa removed the wired connection from the microwave to her neck then she opens the microwave revealing a chuck of the metal cube scattered inside the microwave she then picks everything inside and proceeds to place every chunk into a table 

"Let the machine do its work and we'll wait for the final product" 

1 hour later

The bullet machine finished its thing and manage to produce a special type of bullet with its tip made from old-world materials seeing the newly made bullets Lisa loaded a bullet into a pistol from her left thigh holster and aimed at the back of the head of Lea and fired it without a warning 

Bang! A loud sound of a pistol being fired can be heard in the scrap yard turning all the people in that area into a combat stance. The bullet that was fired from Lisa's pistol hit the back of Lea resulting in the automatic activation of Lea's skill and the slowed perspective and side-stepping from the spot she was on

"Bitch! Why shoot someone from your team" 

Lisa holstered the pistol to her right thigh and wear her black coat over her thin structure 

"I was just testing a prototype bullet that can Pierce a soldier doll structure" 

Lea lowered her hostility toward Lisa and go back to sitting on a pile of metal scraps

Aila finished the needed fix of the doll and dragged the doll's body to the workbench 

"Hey Kyle can you go to this address I paid a scavenger to find us a service doll head from the nearest ruins" 

Kyle nodded in response and walked toward Aila and taking some kind of note in her hands 

Kyle picked up the note from Aila and then set a location search on his information terminal and proceed to follow the paths given by the terminal

"Lea can follow our host and don't show your self only intervene if he were to be attacked by some goons "

Upon hearing what Aila said Lea stands to go from where she sits and in a split second she disappears from view of Aila by using her skill 

As soon as everyone disappear Aila picks up an information terminal that have rung indicating a missed call

"Some unknown number may be spam I am just gonna ignore it for now " 

Hours have passed and the whole group has returned to the scrap yard

"Listen up people I receive some suspicious call should we wait for it to call again or track it down" 

Aila announced the call to everyone present at the scrap yard 

"It's my information terminal right let's just wait for it to call again" 

The group has agreed to wait for the call and continue to do what they have done every day if there was no job to do
