<< The levels of ‘Materialization’ and ’Mana Control’ have increased. >>

“Yaaaawnnn”, was the first thing I said in the morning. Ever since I gained a body yesterday, I started sleeping in beds (instead of floating above it). I ate my first meal and it didn’t taste good what would you expect, it was just soup.

I stood up from bed and checked my body. It was still half transparent but, I have legs, hands and my pal Excalibur is still there.

I went to face the mirror that was in my room. Yesterday I was in such a rush to eat my first meal that I didn’t completely look at my body.

I looked at the reflection on the mirror, and I could see myself since I materialized my body.

I have candle wax like white skin, blood red eyes and a boy like girl face. You could easily mistake my gender for female. Hell, I would kiss myself if I could. My hands have black claws coming from my nails that looked as if it could poison you. My height… I would rather not talk about it, short description I’m small. My body looked a twig because I look thin.

I opened my mouth to check on my teeth, I looked like a goddamn vampire at first glance. I have fangs like the ones from vampires, and I was naked… well, not completely I have some boxers on. I also found out that I have pointy ears as well.

‘….. I’m pretty sure I didn’t originally look like that’, I thought back on my previous appearance.

Back on earth I’m pretty sure I had black hair and human like traits. My skin color had more color than pure white skin.

‘I’ll ask Leo about this’

After I checked myself on the mirror, I went towards the drawers and took out my clothes.

Iris said that that room was for guests and that the clothing in there was free for use, thus I helped myself and put on the clothes.

The clothes were made from thin cloth, since in the village the temperature barely changes.

The room I was in wasn’t too fancy I’d rather say normal in mediaval ages.

“Alright it’s time to start a new day.”, I said with little motivation.

“Good morning, Shiro. Would you like some breakfast?”, Iris asked.

I went downstairs and found myself in the living room and to the front is the kitchen.

“Yeah, I would love to.”, I said even though I don’t need to eat since I don’t have a stomach.

I eat because it tastes good, and now that I don’t have the need to eat, I can eat as much as I want.

“The breakfast is pancakes!!!”, Iris said with her fist sky high.

‘Pancakes? Those exist in this world, but not pizza?’, it was a mystery to me how this world came up with its ideas.

I ate two whole pancakes and it tasted better than soup. Of course, it would!

“Are you going to continue practicing magic with Leo? If you are then make sure you’re not late to come back home.”, Iris warned.

“Yeah I’m going, after all Leo wanted to ask me how I made this spell.”, I said with a tired expression.

Today I wasn’t feeling great, for some reason.

“Tell me how you made that spell?!”, Leo said as he looked at me in the eyes with a glance in his eyes.

We were in the magic training grounds, there were other elves here as well practicing archery and some magic.

Me and Leo were sitting in a bench right next to the storage house next to the training grounds. He was interrogating me on how I made that spell.

“It’s really simple, I spread my mana over my spiritual body and then materialized my mana and then ta da I have now a body.”, I barely explained enough for him to understand.

“That’s way too vague, you have to explain more.”, Leo complained.

‘I guess this was this was the reason I felt bad this morning’, I thought.

“I have a question, is it possible that your appearance might change when you become a spirit”, I asked.

“Well it can change if you level up and your race changes.”

It’s been said that when a monster levels up to level one hundred they evolve and change race depending on their skills and physique. In the process of evolution their appearance might change. For example: if a goblin evolves all the way to becoming a ‘Goblin King’ they will receive a king like appearance. The same thing goes for ‘Ghosts’ if they go through evolution and become ‘Flame Ghosts’ they might receive flaming red hair.

“Well that’s how it works for spirits. It’s been said that if a spirit becomes an attribute ghost, they will automatically receive pointy ears. However, you’re just a normal ghost.”, Leo explained.

‘So that’s the reason why everything changed’, I thought as I watched the elves in the training grounds.

The training grounds were open for every Elf in the Village, the children could play with wooden swords and practice with a bow. The adults could do magic training and archery, as well as sword training.

“I think I should learn how to swing a sword…”, I muttered.

“So, you want to learn the skill ‘Swordsmanship’? It’s going to be hard we don’t have many people here that have that skill, but you can learn ‘Archery’ instead. Since now you have a body.”, Leo suggested

“Yeah, I’m going to learn both.”, I said.

“That’s going to be hard. Do you know how long it took for you to just learn ‘No-Attribute Magic’?”

I’m not the type of person to do something unless I have a good reason to. However learning Swordsmanship might be important in this world that has monsters.

“I don’t mind taking a long time, because it might be useful one day.”, I said as I slowly stood up from the bench. “Alright let’s get started!”

<< The levels of ‘Surpass Limits’ have increased >>

“PLEASE I DON’T WANT TO DO THIS ANYMORE!!! PLEASE SPOOOOOOP!!!”, I screamed begging for mercy at the feet of my opponent.

You remember when I said I would learn both ‘Swordsmanship’ and the ‘Archery’ Skill. Yeah it didn’t go well, archery was easy but to gain the skill is hard. I had to shoot a target one hundred times! But the worse one is swordsmanship, there I had to spar against an old veteran at swordsmanship. His name was Michael. He’s been said to be one of the oldest Elves in this village, however he looked like he was still 25 years old.

“Come on, with that attitude you’ll never gain the skill.”, Micheal said with serious intent.

‘THIS IS JUST PURE TORTURE!!! EVEN MY PREVIOUS P.E TEACHER WOULD’VE BEEN MORE MERCIFUL!!!’, I thought as I tried standing up from the hard ground.

“I c-can’t! My whole body is aching even though I don’t have muscles nor organs! So why does it hurt so much!”, I complained while almost drawing my last breath before death.

“Well that’s because your spirit takes after your previous body. Thus, your organs and muscles do actually exist or else how could you possibly talk. Unfortunately, they won’t develop because they aren’t made out of flesh nor bones.”, Leo explained while I was literally dying!!!

‘Well that explains why my Excalibur is still there’, I thought.

“Then why do I feel so much pain!!!”, I asked as I felt my body going numb.

“That’s probably because of your low ‘endurance’. When somebody becomes a spirit their attribute values get lower.”, Leo explained once again.

I tried standing up and continue training, but I fell back to the ground and deactivated my skill ‘Materialization’ on accident.

The ‘Materialization’ Skill isn’t unlimited. There is a limit to how long I can keep in on I trained it during night, I can hold my ‘Materialization’ skill for four hours but if I lose focus I will go back to being a transparent spirit. However the more it levels up, the less focus I need to keep it on and eventually it would become as easy as breathing.

As I tried to get the strength to stand up again I saw a shadow at the corner of my sight. White hair flowing as the wind rustled by and the body of a beauty. Iris appeared.

“Hello, Shiro, Leo and Micheal. Were you three training?”, Iris asked curious as to what we were doing.

“Me? No, it’s Shiro who’s being trained by Micheal.”, Leo answered as he scratched his cheek a little.

“You say training, but it feels more like torture!”, I reputed.

“Poor Shiro. I think you should take a break, you’ve been training magic day after day. And now you are doing physical training. At this point you might break.”, Iris said as she looked at me with pity in her eyes.

‘She’s right.’ Ever since I came to this world I haven’t stopped training magic, and learning (which I normally wouldn’t do voluntarily).

“Okay, I’ll go on a break.” I said but then a certain thought crossed my mind.

‘What should I do on a break?’
