This is strange.

No matter how much time I spent analyzing this map, the appearance of that forest doesn't make any sense! How did it just appear out of nowhere overnight?

Will it be the warning of a new catastrophe?

Feeling a headache, I started breathing slowly to calm down. It was there that my stomach growled.

“Damn, I forgot to pack something for lunch”.

Clicking my tongue, my ears twitched as I thought about what I should eat.

“To hell with cooking! I'd better go out and get a bite to eat at that new store that opened on the corner”.

Talking to myself, I grabbed a blue coat, quickly combed both my hair and tail and left my office.

It was noticeable that winter had arrived. All the buildings had red lamps inside their houses that emitted a comforting warmth and greatly illuminated the street.

Agh, they light up too much… I think I should buy a newer model, since I heard that you can graduate the intensity of the light and change its color, but traveling to the Farm Kingdom just for that… it's a pain.

I thought as I exhaled hot air into my hands.

The vast majority of buildings are made of wood and only a few, as in the case of my work, have stronger materials such as brick, although in the big kingdoms they have already started to use a material called concrete.

Pulling out a small notebook I had tucked in my pocket, I wrote down: Research concrete house estimates.

“Oh, Alexia, good afternoon. What's the mayor's daughter doing here?”

An older gentleman, approximately 45 years old, had come out of his store with a garbage bag in hand as he greeted me.

I backed up a few steps at the smell of the bag and made a forced smile.

“Good afternoon, sir. I came to try the food that so many citizens are talking about.” Raising my hand, I pointed to the food store a few blocks away.

“Oh, I see! So, the mayor's daughter is also attracted by that kind of places, now the others will be able to say that you are human, ha ha ha ha ha ha!”

The gentleman started laughing at his joke, but I was not amused.

“If I am honest with you… I have contact with some cousins who work in the Great Farm Kingdom and according to their words, that food is not very healthy, but go and enjoy it anyway, since life is only one”.

“I appreciate your comment”.

Making a 'peace' gesture with my right hand, I said goodbye to the man and headed straight for the store.

This… Is this concrete?

My first impression of this store was the material it was made of. It had glass that, although I am not an expert on that subject, was thin enough as a sheet. Its walls were painted blue and had a logo with the letter 'B' on it.

Will it break if I accidentally settle on it?

“Welcome, Miss!”

Surprising me, an employee welcomed me. He was still staring at the store entrance, but when I noticed that he had several seconds to wait for a response from me, I looked back at him.

“Could you guide me? I don't want to… break anything accidentally”.

“Of course!”

This clerk's uniform was something I had never seen before in town. His shoes looked quite sophisticated, he had a brown apron with the store's logo on it, and the rest of his clothes were as white as snow, possibly made of a material I had yet to see.

As he led me inside the store, I couldn't help but ask:

“Hey, what material is that?”

“Oh! Can you feel it, Miss?”

The employee looked very surprised.

“It's not cotton, is it?”

Excited, the employee exclaimed:

“It's polystyrene! A new technology for clothing that is sure to change the world. Our store is a great initiative for the Great Farm Kingdom, that's why the president gave us this beautiful and magnificent clothing”.

Throughout his speech, his enthusiasm and the characteristic attitude of the inhabitants of the Kingdom of Farm: Vision was noticeable. This being the second most powerful kingdom of the continent, although from my perspective, it is the strangest of all.

It creates never-before-seen technologies that change or facilitate people's lives, its politics is fundamentally different from that of the kingdom of Astarock or Jupiter, since, unlike the previous ones, in that kingdom there is no king but rather a president.

I let out a long sigh.

We'd better stop thinking about so many things. I just came here to eat!

Determined, order quite seriously.

“Give me your best dish”.

A small smile escaped from the employee.

“Right away”.

Several minutes passed and still my food was not ready.

Wasn't this the restaurant that claimed to be the best of them all? Why is it so slow?

Impatient, I raised my hand. Within seconds, I had another employee who spoke politely to me.

“Did something happen, Miss?”

“What happened to my order?”

“It is in process, although I could recommend…” The employee was silent for a moment, as he noticed the great anger in my eyes.

“Here you go”.

Another waiter, to my surprise, had placed on my table a thin glass tumbler containing a green liquid accompanied by numerous ice cubes.

“What is this?”

“In appreciation that you are the first customer of the day to order a dish of that magnitude, this is a gift from the house”.

A confident smile made me turn my attention to that glass.

It was certainly tiny.

“What if I don't like it?”

“We will refund you everything you spent on the order you ordered”.

A statement that made me see the great value and confidence they have in the product they just served me. This made my heart start racing with excitement.

“Are you sure about that? Will you keep your word?”

The waiter, who had previously watched angrily, had withdrawn from the place with small steps to leave all the ground to what seemed to be his superior. Both had the same attire, but the determination of this person…

It reminds me of Isuke.

Isuke, did you take the mission I sent you on?

I asked myself as the waiter responded gracefully.

“Of course. Our top priority is customer satisfaction. It is the unwritten law of the Farm Kingdom that all businesses try to comply with”.

Seeing that he was not going to back down, no matter how much pressure I put on him, I agreed to take that drink.

One sip.

It only took a small sip for me to feel a great satisfaction. In a few seconds and before I knew it, I had already finished that drink.

Leaving the glass on the table, still maintaining my composure, I grabbed the menu that was on the table to try to find the price of that drink.

It was expensive, expensive.

Raising my hand, I asked:

“How long until my order?”

“2 minutes”.

“Then…” Looking sideways at that empty glass, I sighed. “Bring me 13 glasses of this”.

I would definitely take a big loss today.
