It was possible to level up through players, but they wouldn't group en masse like monsters.
Although it couldn't be said that most players had brains, they would have split up should Reylin taunt too many, to say nothing of annoying skills such as taunt and others.
For crowd control, though, Reylin had prepared one item, and that was an additional buff to his Grandpa's Statue.
He didn't want to leverage too much on Layla, and it wasn't like she was rich either.
He got too much stuff from her, so Reylin used his Flame Artist class and added a buff to an already pre-made item.
That buff created a zone around Reylin.
It was around five-meter, and tanks would be only able to taunt him within that zone.
Reylin naturally wasn't prepared for any other cc, but that lack of money and resources hurt his preparation. He also lacked experience against those if he wanted to make something out of the items at hand.
Nonetheless, Reylin wasn't that much bothered about crowd control. Worry served no purpose, and he would take sweet revenge against anyone who controlled him.
Thus, Reylin had leveled up a little, but he wasn't content with that alone. That much experience wasn't sufficient to make him feel like PK, and it was the players' reactions that kindled his killer instincts.
At last, he appeared before the leveling ground he had planned beforehand.
[Green Parrot Stash House - Recommended Lv. 50-60]
For an efficient leveling up, Reylin chose a ground where monsters were highly liable toward the flames.
It was a forest with trees bent to make it look like a stash house. Of course, one wouldn't be able to tell from outside or within, but from the bird's eye, one would be able to make the stash house out of trees.
The place was huge, and one could see many players practicing their skills here.
Practicing was a good word to describe this leveling ground as parrots were one of the fastest monsters here.
The dark matter in their bodies made them into killing monsters while their greedy nature for treasures remained the same.
They kept their stuff within the stash house, their home, and attacked players and bystanders searching for more.
One would find many players here.
After all, the players' reaction was crucial in many fights.
Those fast birds allowed players to train that reaction time, and archers liked that place the most.
Other than archers, mages with various elements prevailed out of all classes.
Of course, tanks also did their best to taunt the fast monsters, and healers did their best to heal the wounds immediately after each scratch.
They had been training in various ways, but Reylin's appearance was bound to change the whole forest.
Together with Emilia, Reylin casually stepped in.
Emilia looked around and said, "No resident around..." She then babbled out, "Well, I am more than ready to waltz around this place."
"If you are worried about players hitting on you, I can hold your hand," Reylin chuckled.
"That should be the way since we don't have any front," Emilia nodded, then actually extended her hand.
They both went deeper like a couple on a date, then Reylin took out a small round gem. It was jewelry he had made beforehand, and it was nothing but a small thing. One would think he took it out of some accessory.
He had many of those, and he began throwing them around as if feeding doves.
Of course, Reylin's nickname was a taunt itself, but he was doing it to taunt as many parrots as possible.
Unlike his nickname, they would spot those treasures from afar, and that was indeed the case.
In less than one minute, the forest shook, with many parrots rushing toward Reylin and Emilia.
His eyes rose, and he saw their army's impending rush!
Their eyes were a mix of dark matter and red killing intent, which was quite a horrific scene for any newcomer except Reylin and Emilia.
"What an army... Haha..." Reylin raised his free hand, "For years, people were jealous of the birds' freedom. A blue, clear sky was yours... And since you gave up on it, let me bring it back for you... The Red Sky."
He and his partner disappeared within the pillar of red flames while the parrots mindlessly flew into it one by one. Those closer had long since tasted the fire, and that was the worst experience by far.
For them, that was!
Emilia's eyes saw the dying parrots within a pillar, and she even began feeling sorry for them.
They were enticed by the treasures first, then Reylin's black nickname made their bodies uncontrollable.
Even if the flames suddenly appeared before them, they didn't stop and searched for him incessantly!
Swimming in those flames was a suicidal move, and soon all died.
Reylin's flames dispersed, and he looked around. The howling element already began expanding under his watch, and nature surrendered before it even thought about it.
Falling leaves were coated in flames, and Reylin listened to the loud wind as it was the only free thing here.
Inwardly, he began thinking about his legendary skill.
After all, flames drawn by legendary skill hit differently.
They were also slightly different in color.
Was that a different type of flames or the fire he was aiming to reach in the future?
Reylin pondered, but since the system hadn't registered those as a different 'race' type, he didn't pursue the matter for too long.
Instead, his eyes shifted to Emilia, whose hands went up. She joined her finger and index on both and aimed at more parrots coming their way.
Her holy flames were also different.
Reylin didn't know whether it would become one of the flames for his future Fire Heart.
He knew one thing... He had an idea for that fire!
"Holy Candle..." Emilia whispered, then her target changed!
Rather than aiming at the parrots, she pointed at the sky! A flame manifested itself in a soul form around her fingers, then she sent it up to the sky!
Her flames were faster than Reylin!
Once the flames settled in the sky, they began raining down on the parrots!
And the second phase was even faster!
It seemed like lasers fell from the sky!
That was the holy fire!
"Do you know guns?" Reylin asked with a smile, "In your case, it would be laser guns."
"Guns? No, I don't know about it," Emilia replied.
"Well, I can share a little information about it," Reylin smiled in response, "Still, we have to clean up and level up."
"It's just you leveling up," Emilia whispered with squinted eyes. She then looked in a different direction, "Well, I am here to help you level up anyway."
"Hah," Reylin chuckled and drew more flames!
Around them, many players had gathered.
The Red Sky had brought them here, then they saw Emilia's level and her helpful skill. It was a skill on par with the legendary one, or it looked like such for the players.
The pyromaniac was known for unlimited mana in flames, which stopped them, even though the black nickname was too alluring!
However, once the parrot boss appeared, the king of this domain, the players' eyes lit up in hope and bared their weapons...
Greed bloomed within their hearts, an emotion that made their bodies uncontrollable similar to the monsters.
