"Your staff lit up with magic, so you use that as a mediator for your skill," Reylin said, "Two guns would be better for you if that kind of skill is your main one." And with those words, he began explaining about guns.
"C-Can't you save it up for another time?!" Emilia yelped while running away from the boss.
Yes, they were chased by the boss right now.
Reylin used his flames, and so did Emilia, but the boss' feathers seemed tough. It was also faster than any parrot so far, meaning that Reylin and Emilia couldn't casually gather their skills.
Besides, players lurked around, and Reylin had already spotted a few with eyes brimming with killing intent.
"Why? We have to exercise, but running is more about your stamina than breathing technique. Perhaps you have one? As a priestess, you are pretty fast," Reylin curiously theorized.
Emilia wanted to punch his face as she was running with everything she got!
She also saw that Reylin was faster than any other mage and that his legs let out flames as well!
That was a technique to burn his stamina stat through the fire and increase his speed!
Reylin got it from Layla, and he was heavily pleased with it.
Emilia guessed right, and he snickered at her, "I can also fly if need be."
"Unfair!" Emilia cried out, then tried to speed up, to no avail.
She was a priestess for the majority of her life, and should she have any second class, it was highly likely for it to be less developed than her main one. She used one of her items to be as fast, quite a Reylin style.
Reylin chuckled as it was a pretty fun development on their adventure, "Imagine how much experience we will get by killing the boss!"
"It will all go to you!" Emilia spoke through her teeth!
"Oh, true..." Reylin rolled his eyes, feigning ignorance.
Emilia's face became redder due to his blatant shamelessness, and she nearly exploded with ire. However, Reylin quickly found a cure, and his eyes squinted.
He had located a few players waiting behind trees. Their archer had pulled the bowstring already, his fingertips cut slightly by it! In a deep focus, he kept his eyes on Reylin and Emilia, with the former gaining more attention.
Reylin licked his lips, "Kill him."
Emilia didn't need any more words. She pointed her hands in the form of guns toward the archer, following Reylin's remarks. In an instant, her holy flames tore through the forest with their laser-like power!
[Your party member, Emilia, has killed a player!]
[You have gained +1240 EXP!]
The archer died on the spot!
His friends turned their eyes at him belatedly, and all they saw was his empty eye sockets! Their own eyes stretched dangerously, but nothing other than respawning would fill those holes within the disappearing player's head!
Reylin was once again impressed by Emilia's holy fire, "It's faster than my fireball."
His flames formed a few of those fireballs, all going in the players' directions. However, Reylin aimed at nature and used it to trap them... He bypassed next to them, then the parrot boss charged into frightened players!
Well, the parrot boss was the same as other parrots, but it was much bigger! Its flapping wings sounded like jets, and it would surely bring out an earthquake with its mass!
If one had doubts about earthquakes, the players beneath the boss surely didn't about it!
"I killed two birds with one stone," Reylin looked behind.
He had dealt with lurking players, then trapped the boss in his flames.
Emilia added the last layer with her quick-fire, then Reylin sucked enough flames for another legendary skill!
The second red sky shooed away all other players.
The efficient leveling up began, and Reylin caught up to Emilia in three days!
She no longer doubted his words, and even if he did make a mistake, she would keep the same belief as his flames never ceased to make her feel hotter.
-
[You have leveled up!]
[You have become level sixty!]
Reylin's first class increased his mana and intelligence. His flame artist did the same, but it also added a little stamina. And for his Black Rose Class, it fully invested into stamina!
Now, he had quite a lot of those stats, and he was ready to check the dungeon he had been eying for a while!
"I've had enough sleeping outside..." Emilia whispered, then she glared at Reylin, "It was cold, and you didn't even bother to warm me up!"
Hearing her quickly changing like that, Reylin knew that just those three days were enough to adjust. He snickered, "You haven't asked for cuddles, have you?"
Emilia's glare intensified, "You want a priestess to make moves? How unholy can you get?"
"Depends on the situation. So far, I have been provoking the priestess like a devil. If I am like a devil, how unholy am I?" Reylin casually asked as they were on their way toward the dungeon!
The priestess looked at him weirdly, "Who cares about those devils? Just like others, they have been extinguished by the ascended."
"So they are just one of many races... Were they one of the firsts to get lost?" Reylin asked with a big smile.
To his words, Emilia nodded, "Yes. It looks like the devil is a term for an evil person in your language, but they used to be one of many races here. Their nature was evil, so there's some consistency between the worlds."
"There's consistency... and there's not," Reylin smiled as his eyes rose to look at the dungeon.
It was Burial Ground Dungeon, and one wouldn't see the skeletons and other zombies in such a place on Earth!
Reylin also saw a ghost, but that particular 'race' was different from other monsters around.
"Hello, big brother!" The ghost was a little kid, and he spoke happily toward Reylin.
Emilia was approached by another ghost, and it was the kid's sister. She was also little, and their age was probably the same.
"Big sister is so beautiful!" The tiny ghost loudly said!
Reylin's first dungeon began with these two approaching them.
