Although Elizabeth was now within a deep sleep that certainly didn’t do anything to actually do anything to stop the titan of a snake produced from ground up rocks. A flow of magma flowed throughout its debris-formed body making it glow intimidatingly as it had some magma flicker in and out of its mouth aggressively. Clearly the snake had some life in it despite being something that Mother had seemingly made instantly; though it was strange that she chose to make a snake of all things. Seeing the snake charging towards him made the crimson haired tod narrow his eyes to place a hand on the wooden-practice blade on his hip. He wouldn’t get the chance to draw it though as before he could be bothered to act other people began to pop up all around.
“No need to fear, for I am here, [Heroic Defiance] BWAHAHA~!” <Photon>
The most noticeable appearance would be the ever sparkling hero; appearing within a golden lightning bolt with his towering shield ever present. Slamming the heft mass of metal into the ground caused a violent *BOOM* that caused a powerful holy force to explode out. Despite the earthen snake refusing to stop barrelling forth like an out of control horse it soon found itself hitting not just a road-block but a full blown rhino!
Colliding with the golden aura caused the snake to actually hurdling backwards towards the floating Mother however she didn’t seem very intimidated. Moving her hand out caused the massive creature to lose all momentum thus making it able to attack once more. Fortunately he wasn’t the only person who decided to intervene but the next pair were a bit more surprising than the hero.
Since it had failed with a direct assault on the hero trio it decided to focus on its other target then maybe hope to coil around to heroes; a fitting strategy for a serpent.
However, before it could reach the weakened Promicarus, the shadows around her began to ripple like water. From the abyssal pool a pair of figures slowly rose out from them; both of the two were the exact same height though that seemed to be the only similarity. One had a wide brimmed wizard/witches hat that hid their entire face behind a thick shadow yet a bit cheshire like grin was clear for all to see.
This first individual wore what could be called a saintess’ dress that evolved their dainty body while a gnarled wooden mages staff held a multidimensional catalyst. Two long cat tails happily waved around behind him as the deceptively dressed mage turned to the first figure.
“How strange to see you here mommy dearest [sbnᴉƃƃlʎ-lᴉuǝ][Ǝxɔlɐɯɐʇᴉou-ɯɐɹʞ]” <Chaos>
An arcane language slipped out of his mouth as he turned to the figure everyone recongised yet none expected to see interfering except seemingly the chaotic child.
Though, the silence did little to actually dissuade the boy, as Chaos just cherpily bounced around while waiting for his mother to observe the situation since few probably understood his mother as well as he did. He just assumed she was doing her usual thing of thinking about many things at once causing her process speed to buffer!
In contrast, the ‘youngest’ (if you ignore Chaos’ time shenanigans), of the family couldn’t help looking up at her mother & brother in surprise. Sure people may help Eel since she was a hero and all but she expected none of that for herself. Despite that - just when she thought her end was going to come - not one but two of the most powerful people came running to her defence.
She soon shook her head in denial that they came to actually defend her; what they truly came to defend was their own interests.
<Mom obviously just doesn’t want her plan to fall through while brother probably just sees this as something fun to do…>
It was just when that thought flitted through her head when Munzumira seemed to have begun paying attention to the world around herself. Her first action wasn’t to turn to Mother to do their usual witty banter nor turn to Chaos who was obviously eager for attention and was by far an enigma in terms of ability. Instead she turned to look towards Promicarus who was in quite the unflattering state as her body was barely managing to keep shape let alone keep the bottom half connected after suffering from Mother’s first attack.
“Hmm… My healing magic isn’t the best due to not having any divinity though I suppose there are few who have done surgery on a slime-girl so I shall try.” <Munzumira>
Upon saying that she flicked a hand out to cause wires, made from the same metal as her defining nails, to fly from small rifts. With no ability to resist Promicarus obviously couldn’t stop the wires as they pierced through her body. Still they did no real harm as soon those wires stitched up not just her ‘body’ but even her soul meaning she quickly recovered from her wound with her natural ability!
This realisation didn’t make her forget that the tiny woman in front of her was no gracious mother figure with her words likely being the truth… Though the other sibling present seemed to disagree as he proceeded to move a finger to press into her ‘mommy dearest’s soft cheek with a cheeky chuckle leaving from between his lips.
“Aw[sbnᴉƃƃlʎ-lᴉuǝ] mommy dearest is such a tsundere [sbnᴉƃƃlʎ-lᴉuǝ][ɟnll sʇod]” <Chaos>
“You certainly know how to get around Chaos; having travelled away from this country all the way to the {Plague Lands} and back again. I hope you treated your two sisters well since I know you often tease Akaibu… Anyway I trust you can at least protect your youngest sister while I deal with that little snake?” <Munzumira>
“Heh guess you could say I’m quite chaotic though what is a bit of teasing between twins [pɐsɥ] also no need to worry about here ‘for I am here’ che[sbnᴉƃƃlʎ-lᴉuǝ]hehe[sbnᴉƃƃlʎ-lᴉuǝ]hihihi [sbnᴉƃƃlʎ-lᴉuǝ][Ǝxɔlɐɯɐʇᴉou-ɯɐɹʞ]” <Chaos>
“Don’t bully your uncle either; even if he’s an idiot.” <Munzumira>
“I resent that!” <Photon>
Having her (admittedly unreliable) son’s acceptance of her delegated task, Munzumira’s eyes narrowed as she looked towards the snake. Her gaze seemed to be so piercing that she was looking at the figure who hid behind it. Something confirmed a moment later as she spoke up with a widened grin; finally seeming ready to begin the usual banter between her ever evolving long-term enemy.
“Still hung up on using those old snake skills to come up with your own; should I show you how out-dated the abilities of my rivals are? [Supernova Flash]” <Munzumira>
She didn’t wait for Mother’s reply as she stretched out a hand as a flash of white seemed to burst out, contrasting her darkness, before vanishing once more. When the light did vanish it brought the snake along with it - in addition the entire crater became covered in a thick surface of glass that cracked due to its quick formation. It was only then that everyone's bodies registered the momentary heat that was combined with a ear-shattering *BOM* that was as short & crisp as the attack itself.
That single attack had managed to also turn the dust ash swirling around Mother into a rain of rare gems that trickled down to beautifully catch the orange hues of the lava below. Seeing that greatly confused Promicarus while bringing her thoughts back to when they fought just a few days ago. Thinking back it was strange that Munzumira who was known for her magic would not only fight but ‘slightly’ injure them without any permanent damage.
Sure Fuka & her were heavily wounded if you thought about it in normal terms; Munzumira was someone who knew all about the both of them thus knew it was something they would have been able to recover from even without that snow storm.
<What… Is she up to?>
“Do you really think a mere doll can defeat me?” <Mother>
“I wouldn’t have said that if I were you…” <Photon>
For once her voice wasn’t as kind yet she still managed to keep her smile on her face even if those slightly open, glowing eyes left a level of unfathomable intimidation. That intimidation didn’t seem to affect the spirit though. Contrary to anyone's expectations her frown went to the extreme as she lifted her right index finger up to the sky; sure enough Photon was right so could only sigh.
Those who knew her well knew exactly what was about to happen thus immediately acted; the first to move was chaos who grabbed his little sister before vanishing in the shadows. The hero trio meanwhile made sure to hold Elizabeth down while Photon used yet another defensive act to form a golden bubble. Soon energy around began to tremble and be sucked towards the point above Munzumira’s finger as an abyssal hole appeared to open to swallow it all up inside.
“You used Tyrants signature to attack my daughter earlier so how about as punishment I use my ultimate technique on this little planet [Sagittarius Alpha]” <Munzumira>
She spoke calmly yet this ability was anything but a simple one as it formed a singularity that only got stronger the power power it received; after all it was a blackhole. Soon it wasn’t just loose mana or air that got pulled in as debris from the ground got pulled in yet that was just the start. Soon the earth itself was pulled away from its roots to be devoured by the expanding ball sitting on Munzumira’s finger.
The nastiness about this technique wasn’t how devastating it was; rather it was the fact that only Muznumira herself was able to seemingly stop it. Even if Mother wanted to stop the attack she could do nothing as even attacking the caster would accomplish little since it becomes self sufficient as soon as it’s begun. Not to mention this suction effect wasn’t even the end point for the attack but merely the preparation for the real thing.
Staring at that expanding orb Mother knew fine well that, despite having suppressed the power of anyone actually able to damage her {Mortal Realm}, this attack wasn’t included. It almost seemed to be produced just as a hidden ace in the hole when dealing with Mother. That was because…
“I shall leave this continent for now but don’t expect me to retreat for long…” <Mother>
