Chapter 1389: Meeting Her Majesty Nuwa

Nuwa’s boudoir?

An Lin was in a state of panic upon hearing this. However, his fear and nerves soon gave way to excitement!

He had never had a chance to meet such a legendary figure, and he was very excited to be presented with the opportunity to do so now.

There were many legends about Nuwa, the most popular of which told of how Nuwa had mended the heavens and how she had created the humans.

The latter was referring to how Nuwa had created the humans on Earth. She had used the human race on the Tai Chu Continent as a reference and made clay dolls, which she then gave life to. Thus, the human race on Earth was born.

Nuwa’s mending of the heavens was referring to how she had to clean up the Purple Star Civilization’s mess and patch up the hole they had made in the sky…

However, her mending of the heavens only delayed the backlash from the Heavenly Dao and gave all of the mighty figures time to devise a course of action. In other words, her mending of the heavens was incomplete.

The effect of this was slowly beginning to rear its ugly head, and there was now a crisis on everyone’s hands.

Nuwa was said to be the leader of the Heaven Mending Sect, and the Celestial Thearch was her deputy. She had been trying to find a way to permanently mend the heavens for a long time. She really had been running herself ragged for the sake of the human race.

It was also rumored that Nuwa was heavily involved with the establishment of the Heavenly Court, thereby tying her even more closely to the human race.

This God of Creation had been doing good things for the human race for a long time. He really didn’t understand why she was so good to the humans.

The rainbow divine light pierced through tens of thousands of meters of seawater before landing on An Lin and the others.

An Lin looked up to discover an indistinct, elegant figure atop the White Nectar Sea. Even just looking at her from afar struck him with a sense of calmness and serenity.

Before he had a chance to catch a clear glimpse of the figure, his entire body was enshrouded by a burst of spatial power.

This was an extremely high-level spatial power, and he did not experience the usual disconcerting nausea before he was teleported elsewhere.

When he opened his eyes again, he had arrived in a cozy wooden cabin.

An Lin inhaled to find that the air here was indescribably pure and fresh. It traveled through his entire body and seemed to be cleansing all of the impurities within, making him feel extremely carefree and relaxed.

Not only that, but all of the cells within his body seemed to have become more active.

An Lin had a feeling that even if he were to do nothing else aside from breathing for ten thousand years here, it would still be an extremely blissful experience!

The wooden cabin was very sparsely furnished, but nothing in here was simple by any means.

There were simple artworks hanging on the walls, but they appeared to be more like portals to other worlds.

There were a few simple cups of tea sitting before them, but An Lin could tell just from the aroma of the tea that the tea leaves used were at least divine-rank materials.

The simple, ornate windows were exuding divine energy.

There was an intricate, antiquated mirror, within which hundreds of flowers blossomed under a full moon.

A set of wind chimes tinkled in the light breeze, but its sound was extremely pleasant to the ears, giving listeners a sense of entrancement…

That’s right, everything in this room looked quite simple at first glance.

However, none of them were truly as simple as they seemed.

The Heavenly Lord of Dao and Virtue sat across from An Lin and spoke with an elated smile as he poured himself a cup of tea, “Who would have thought that Nuwa would actually let us into her boudoir.”

It looked like this was not the first time he had been here.

Yi Xi sat beside him, looking around with curiosity. This was clearly his first time here as well.

An Lin couldn’t help but turn toward the set of thin curtains draped before the bed in the room.

He then turned blind…

“Mr. An Lin, some things are things you should not look at.”

A teasing yet extremely gentle voice traveled into his ears.

An Lin turned his head and only then did he recover his eyesight. He then apologized with an apologetic expression, “Apologies for my rudeness, Senior.”

“That’s alright. Let me introduce myself. I’m Nuwa.” A woman made her way out slowly from behind the draped curtains.

An Lin looked up to discover a woman in a rainbow dress making her way toward them. Below her gorgeous, swan-like neck was a pair of voluptuous jade mounds. There was a sash around her slender waist, below which a pair of snowy-white, well-proportioned legs could be seen.

An Lin couldn’t help but swallow. Wasn’t Nuwa supposed to have the lower body of a snake? Why was she in her human form right now?

Nuwa wasn’t the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. In fact, she could rank as number three with Xu Xiaolan as number one for obvious reasons and Chang’e at number two.

Her features were absolutely flawless, but they appeared to be extremely natural. She didn’t strike one with soul-sucking beauty, but she was a woman you could look at for ten thousand years and still be entranced.

Her skin was as fair as white jade, and even when she stood still, she was like the most beautiful scenery in this entire world, like a child blessed by heaven and earth.

This was a true goddess. The type that one could admire, but not even dare to think about soiling.

Many thoughts flashed through An Lin’s mind at that moment.

Nuwa took a seat and sized up An Lin with a curious smile.

“Have you seen enough yet? Where do I rank among all the beauties you’ve seen?” Nuwa asked with a dainty smile.

An Lin came to his senses, and his expression became even more awkward. It was as if she had read his mind, and he immediately gave an honest reply, “You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, so you naturally rank as number one!”

“Tch… Shameless b*stard!”

A cold voice filled with animosity sounded from behind him.

An Lin turned around, and his expression shifted again upon seeing who it was.

This was an exquisitely beautiful woman in her own right, and she was wearing an elegant black dress with flowing black hair falling all the way to her waist. However, her beauty was slightly marred by the disdainful expression she had on her face as she looked at An Lin.

“Black Spirit Snake, you’re here too?” An Lin was shocked.

Holy crap!

He was not ready for this right now!

Before An Lin had a chance to fear for his safety, another voice sounded.

“Who are you calling shameless? Is Mr. An Lin not speaking the truth? Hurry up and pour tea for our guests!” Nuwa scolded with a stern expression.

Black Spirit Snake: “…”

An Lin was ecstatic. He had Her Majesty Nuwa on his side!

With Her Majesty Nuwa taking his side, what could this stinky snake do to him?

Black Spirit Snake made her way over to them with an aggrieved expression and reluctantly poured tea for Nuwa, the Heavenly Lord of Dao and Virtue, Yi Xi, and An Lin, who was wearing a wide, smug smirk.

Black Spirit Snake was almost unable to control herself at the sight of that gloating smirk.

The Heavenly Lord of Dao and Virtue wore a buoyant smile on his face, as if he was witnessing something quite amusing.

Nuwa spoke with a smile, “Alright, show us the Heavenly Dao fragment.”
