As soon as the referee backed off the protagonist shouted, “[Body Enhancement]” to strengthen himself before attacking.

 

Wasting no time, I started executing my plan, I said [Defense Field] which created an invisible., dome shaped barrier around me. It was a mid-level magic that can block both magical and physical attacks. The protagonist currently wasn’t strong enough to break through it yet.

 

“AAAAAAAA”, shouted the protagonist as he dashed towards me and swung his sword like an idiot. Well, it worked in the novel as I attacked with my sword as well, so I am not sure which one of us was the bigger idiot.

The sword was stopped by the barrier. “HUH!”, exclaimed the protagonist in confusion and I took advantage of his confusion to cast [Vine Trap] mentally, again a mid-level spell.

 

Several thick vines popped out of the ground and ensnared the protagonist.

 

“UGH! Let me go!”, shouted the protagonist as he attempted to free himself.

 

Then I mentally casted [Mega Flare], another mid-level spell. There was a red magic circle below the protagonist’s feet and a column of fire arose and engulfed him.

 

“AAAHHUUUGGGGG!”, the protagonist shouted in pain.

 

I undid the barrier and waited for the fire to subside as I casted [Body Enhancement] on myself. As soon as the fire subsided and the protagonist was about to fall to the ground, I punched with all my strength to his stomach.

 

“UGGHHH!”

 

The protagonist made the above sound and was sent flying to the wall of the arena.

 

THUD!

 

BAM!

 

Making the above sounds, he crashed into the wall and slumped down. There was a big crack on the wall.

Hearing the referee voice Aaron glared at me again.

 

I just had a cold expression and said, “What I demand is simple. From now on Aaron Brown is to stay away from my business. No matter what I do, you shouldn’t interfere in that, even if you don’t like it understand?”.

 

Aaron looked at me in disbelief, he must have thought I would demand something more outrageous. But after processing what I said for a second said, “I-I can’t do that. I can’t let you do evil things as you wish.”.

Aaron glared at me but then relented saying, “I understand.”.

I didn’t wish death for the protagonist because who knows he might survive and be bloodthirsty enough to kill me, plot armour is not to underestimated. Also I didn’t choose any harsher punishments for the same reason, he might be extra motivated for revenge. He will still probably be looking for revenge but at a much smaller scale.

 

I chose enough punishment to keep his annoying ass away from me.

 

After that I asked, “So, is it over? I can go now, right?”. “Y-Yes”, said the referee.

 

And so, I turned and left without sparing a single glance at the crown and headed to my dormitory.
