I squinted my eyes and said, “Hey, watch you are saying. Shouldn’t you at least be grateful that we are treating you to a meal? Especially when it you guys who asked us?”.

 

Irina said while using her cross, “Pheeeew! Thank you for the meal. Aaaah God, please give charity to these Devils.”.

I nodded and said, “I understand.”. After that we paid the bill, I mean the three of us.

 

Before going Irina said with a smiling face, “Thanks for the meal, Akira-kun! Treat me again next time as well! Even if you are a Devil, God will allow it if it’s a friend of Ise-kun who treats me to a meal! It’s okay if it’s food! And thank you too Ise-kun for paying!”.

After that we went our way. I was going back with Kiba and Issei. Neither of them was talking.

Yes, it was Ophis herself. I couldn’t even sense her presence.

 

 Issei and Kiba looked surprised on seeing this little girl coming out nowhere. Issei asked, “Who are you little girl?”.

 

Crap, let’s nopt anger her. I immediately said, “Ise that’s not a little girl. It’s the ‘Infinite Dragon God’ Ophis.”.

 

Issei was surprised as he didn’t know and said, “Ophis, who?”. But Kiba upon understanding immediately became alert.

 

“Ophis is one of the strongest beings in existence, along with Great Red.”, I explained.

 

“What?”, Issei blurted out in surprise.

 

Ophs smiled and said, “It seems you know who I am despite this appearance. That’s impressive. How did you know? Did your [sacred gear] tell you?”.

 

I nodded and said, “Yes.”. Well, it’s not technically wrong.

 

Ophis seemed satisfied with then and she immediately disappeared in front of us and suddenly came in front of us. I was so startled that I took a few steps.

 

“I heard that that Baka Red had made a sacred gear and the user is active so I personally came to check it out but after seeing you, I am sorely disappointed. You are still too weak despite having this power. Despite having Red’s power, you still can’t access his true power and rely on your measly devil powers to fight. This is an insult to Red you know and in turn me, as we are both [Dragon Gods]”, said Ophis with a disappointed face.

 

“I-I am trying my best to overcome that. But why are so interested in this? From what I know, you shouldn’t be interested in what others do.”, I said, defending myself.

 

Ophis said, “Normally yes. But your case is different. I am trying to defeat Red and reclaim the silence but in the midst of that if I find someone who carries the power of the one I must defeat and is not utilizing it, it makes me irritated. You are an eyesore”.

 

Ophis then said, “You have 6 months in human time. If you don’t unlock any of Red’s powers until then I’ll personally come and erase you.”, and disappeared.

 

Leaving me shocked and terrified.
