Third Person POV:

 

A few buildings away from where Ophis talked with Akira. A handsome young man with dark silver hair and light blue eyes was flying above a building with a pair of white dragon wings.

 

He was wearing a dark green V-neck shirt with a high-collared black leather jacket over it and  burgundy jeans with a silver chain drooping down over them and black leather chaps with three bands encircling his right calf, and black shoes with black buckles.

 

He was observing the interaction of Ophis from that distance.

 

Suddenly he heard a voice behind him, after Ophis disappeared from his sight, “Vali.”.

 

He turned to see Ophis sitting on top of a building behind him, he said, “Ophis……That was very uncharacteristic of you.”.

 

Ophis just looked away silently.

 

Vali asked, “If he doesn’t bring out his powers in 6 months are you really going to kill him?”.

 

Ophis said, “….No. Why would I do something so troublesome and irrelevant to me?”.

 

“Then why?”, asked Vali.

“That’s true.”, said Vali with a smile.

 

“If he can bring out his powers in 6 months, then we can recruit him in the Khaos Brigade, but if he cannot bring out his powers in 6 months then he is not worth our time to even think about. There are a lot of powerful creatures in the world, I cannot waste my time on one.”, said Ophis.

 

Vali smirked, Now, that’s very like you Ophis.”, said Vali.

 

Ophis just stared at the sky expressionlessly and said, “You know that I have only one goal and I do whatever it takes to achieve it, right? I just don’t care about anything else.”.

 

Vali nodded his head and looked at the sky as well and said, “Yes, I know. I have a goal as well.”.

 

Ophis said, “To defeat God.”.

 

Vali said, “Yes, to defeat God. But I was unlucky to be born in this era, where God is dead. This is a boring world. So, I if I find a strong person whom I can fight with, I just cannot give up like you. I will make sure both Sekiryuutei and Great Red’s users are strong enough to fight.”.

 

At this Ophis remained silent. The two of them stared at the sunset with different thoughts in their mind.
