Chapter 1: Dying

Warning :This is pretty short (I won’t blame you if you hate it)

House no.25.

What should I even say?

The houses owner was so lively and energetic.

Most of the neighbourhood were friends with them.

But one day, They stopped being so lively and energetic.

They stopped coming out.

Their house became lifeless, like them.

Inside said house.

Dust covered everything that didn’t move.

Broken furniture everywhere ,blood covered anything that could bruise and scar.

Unlike the rest of the house, the bedroom was pristine .

And there on the bed was a boy .

The boy (His name’s Felix by the way) took his last breath.

Felix was lucky he didn’t die like the ‘silly little girl‘ of those rumours.

Felix then woke up in a white room.

He got up and started walking.

After walking for a while and not feeling tired, he spoke.

”Is this the afterlife?”

Somewhere a voice could be heard, it was like it was close yet far away. “Yes it is!”

(everything after this is just telling the stupid system of this thing )

The boy (yes I got tired of saying Felix ,I’ll say the name in the second thing) asked after a second of silence “What is this place?”

“This is the place people go to when they die and the place people go to get assigned their world. You can call this the afterlife”

“Assigned their world?” The boy asked.

“So basically, When you die you’ll get reincarnated in your favourite work of fiction and get a perk. Now most of the time the perk is a physical item.” The voice explained. The boy sat down and said “Ok”

    After some moments of silence the voice spoke again “Felix Larna, Your world is [The Core of Magic] and your item is a card”

The boy was extremely overjoyed  “Ok!, but what about the card?”

“You will know of the cards existence when you see it, you can ask any remaining questions to it” It said.

The boy soon fell asleep.
