That sort of thing didn’t seem to reach the royalty very well, so they were in a hurry to make arrangements right away.
Well, this should make Dolce happy.
I mean, isn’t the reward …… too …… much?
If it wasn’t for the bag of magic tools, it would never have made it in. ……
Well, I guess I won’t have to worry about financial resources for the time being.
We got enough to buy a house.
Also, according to Vasti, they were planning to have us attend a dinner party with the princes, but it was cancelled because there were a lot of people who said it was disrespectful because of the way Reizen behaved.
That’s a relief to me.
Nice work, Reizen.
But it was Houen who was the happiest about it.
Among adventurers, Houen has a strong sense of etiquette, and his strength is well-known.
He is being constantly followed by the nobles who are trying to win him over by issuing nominated quests.
So that’s why he rushed Vasti into the castle so quickly.
I didn’t hear about this from him, of course.
I heard it from Vasti.
The dinner party…… should I say dinner banquet ……?
I heard the nobles gather there so much.
If I throw Houen into that crowd, I’m sure he’ll be in tremendous trouble.
You are lucky, Houen.
You should be grateful to Reizen.
As for Reizen..
Prince Kreis has taken him away to some place.
I don’t think he’ll be back for a while.
He seemed to like that kind of place quite a bit, and more importantly, he seemed to be having fun.
Besides, that guy would be able to turn back whatever came his way, and I think he’s the strongest bodyguard for the prince.
He’s got poison resistance, as I recall, and he doesn’t seem to be fazed by anything out of the ordinary.
He is also a very strong personality.
“I guess it’s all done now!”
“Indeed.”
Houen is right.
I feel like I’ve finally got a lot of things straightened out with all of this.
There are still things that are bothering me, but I can’t figure them out even if I think about them.
There are still centipede materials lying around, and their value is going to fall.
The material stores might be weeping.
I think they’re usually pretty pricey since they’re monsters from inside the dungeon.
Speaking of …… reconstruction.
“I wonder how Satella is doing.”
“I’m sure Onee-chan will be fine. She’s got Varadim, and everybody is nice.”
“Do you want to go check on her next time we have some time to spare?”
“”!!!! I’m going!!!””
That was an immediate answer.
Well, it’s bothering me.
In fact, I’m curious too, and I’ve never been to the territory where Satella and Alena were.
I’d like to do some sightseeing without getting in any trouble.
But I also want to do more work as an adventurer.
I haven’t done much work since I became C rank.
Though I haven’t had much time to do so.
But right now, the first priority is reconstruction.
I’m sure there are only such requests on the quest board.
Yup, I might be able to do those jobs appropriately.
Then it suddenly occurred to me, shouldn’t I help with the reconstruction work in general, regardless of the job?
There would be nothing to lose, and I would be happy if they would be thankful for it.
When I asked Houen about it, he told me that it was not a good idea.
“If word gets out that you’re an adventurer who does everything for free, you’ll end up doing a lot of work you don’t deserve.”
“Ugh, that’s asking for trouble.”
“The guild is a good place to go to help with reconstruction after receiving a request, even if it’s a bit of a hassle. There are requests to help with reconstruction that are appropriate for your rank.”
What are they missing and what do they need?
That is something that only those in the field can understand.
That is why the guild listens to such requests and prepares the request forms.
How well organized they are.
I think there are a lot of places where the people at the top don’t listen to the people on the bottom and just tell them to do this or do that.
I think that’s exactly what a [one voice from the crane*] means.
(TLN: Voice o authorities)
Well, let’s go back to the guild and see if we can get a few requests done.
