Chapter 12: Chap 12 – Know your enemy

Leandra quickly got to the hiding place.

"What took you so long?" Elizabeth said so as soon as she saw her. "

"Elizabeth, what does 'code red' mean again? Who could possibly know about Adriel's curse?"

"There is a group that looks out for people like Adriel." They seem to have come here because they think Adriel is not using their skills well.

"But he hasn't used that charisma since he was 14!" Leandra was shocked.

"I want you to find them and investigate; I'll be looking into who's smearing Adriel's reputation."

"Okay, no problem."

Elizabeth gave me a folder with pictures and information about Alexia and Makoto.

The document says that they were a couple.

Alexia was very jealous of Makoto, so much so that she wouldn't let anyone else join the team.

Makoto, on the other hand, was forced to join by Alexia, who threatened to arrest him for many scams.

"That Alexia looks like Elizabeth to me, and it gives me the creeps," Leandra thought to herself.

"It seems that Adriel's reputation is spreading even more than we expected."

"We need to get rid of this rumor before the festival ends; otherwise, it will cause chaos," Elizabeth added.

"Then we better get going."

Leandra spent a while looking for Makoto before she located him.

It turned out that the mysterious young man was hiding not too far from the stage. She followed him to a small building, where he seemed to be having a meeting with some of the students.

"Excuse me, are you Makoto?" asked Leandra.

One of the boys standing near him looked around nervously.

"Please, girl, leave this place before she shows up," Makoto said in a scared voice.

"Who's that?"

"Alexia, my girlfriend." "She's dangerous; she wants to kill everyone."

"Is there anything I can help you with?"

Suddenly, a large shadow appeared behind them.

A young lady with rosy locks appeared.

Both stunning and terrifying, she was a sight to behold. Her eyes had a strange glow to them.

"You're late," Alexia said coldly. "Didn't you tell me to meet you here?"

"Yes, I'm sorry. It just didn't work out."

"Oh, really? "When did you bring a female companion?"

"I swear, she appeared out of nowhere," Makoto hastily defended himself.

"Oh, I see."

Alexia quickly tried to hit Leandra with an attack, who barely dodged it. The force of the blow caused her to lose balance, but she managed to regain it.

"Missy, don't you know it's wrong to steal another girl's boyfriend?" Alexia asked as she prepared for another attack.

Leandra was able to avoid the attack, which hit the wall and broke it down.

"If I get hit, it's over," Leandra said to herself.

Leandra can't even talk to Yanderes because she knows that Alexia is like Elizabeth.

But if she doesn't fight back, she'll end up dead.

Leandra put herself in a place where it would be easier to avoid attacks.

As soon as Alexia realized that Leandra wasn't attacking, she attacked again.

However, Leandra avoided every one of Alexia's blows.

"Why aren't you fighting back?" Alexia yelled at the top of her lungs.

"Because I don't want to die!"

Alexia was stunned when she heard those words. "What?! "You think that you can escape death by running away from me?"

Leandra used her magical knowledge to make herself even more agile.

Her speed increased dramatically, and her agility became almost perfect.

Even though she knew that this was only temporary, Leandra decided to use it anyway.

Then she ran through the crowd.

Alexia chased after Leandra without any hesitation.

She was close enough to touch her, but she still kept chasing. It seems like she has no intention of giving up.

It looks like she will never give up.

In fact, she keeps getting closer and closer.

 

Alexia was grabbed by the hand just as Leandra was about to give up.

 

The hand belonged to a woman in her thirties who was a grownup. She wore black clothes, with a white coat covering most of them. A pair of glasses rested on her nose, making her look intelligent and wise.

 

She was Seda.
