Leo is the name Adriel knows Leandra by.

She has known Adriel since she was a little girl—even longer than Elizabeth—but he always thought she was a boy, and she never dared to approach him.

Elizabeth said she would help, but it turned out that it was a trap.

Elizabeth put her in touch with Leo, a cocky and popular boy.

At that moment, Leandra saw Elizabeth for what she was: a manipulative young woman who would do anything to get Adriel all to herself.

Eventually, Elizabeth discovered that Adriel's unfathomable charisma was the result of a curse that made him able to manipulate others to achieve his goals.

Elizabeth began using Leandra (Leo) as a diversion to conceal her fame and abilities from Adriel so that he wouldn't use his power to win over other women. She used Leandra like a puppet on a string; whenever she wanted, she could make her dance or sing. Adriel wasn't stopped, though, because there were too many people around him.

So, Elizabeth had to work with other girls, from Adriel's teacher to his sister.

They joined forces to keep Adriel from finding out how popular he was and to stop the curse from getting worse.

Leandra felt wronged by this alliance, though, because she would be the only one who wouldn't see Adriel.

Because of all, she had done for Adriel, she felt she was the only one deserving of him.

**

Leandra was asked to take part in a play at the last minute.

Romeo and Juliet would be the name of the play.

When she got to the stage, she found out that she would be acting with Adriel. She thought this would be a great chance for her since she would be alone with Adriel until she saw Elora.

With Elora around, it was harder for her to get closer to Adriel, but it was too late to give up.

"Hello, Adriel," she said, trying to act as naturally as possible.

Adriel just nodded shyly.

This kind of answer didn't surprise Leandra because she was already expecting something similar.

"Congratulations on the role," she said to break the ice.

"...Yeah, I know you must be thinking that the role should be yours. I think the same thing."

"Don't worry, Adriel; you look great," Elora spoke up.

"Damn, she got him to like her more," Leandra muttered.

Elora looked at her with an amused expression.

After seeing her reaction, Elora smiled and gave a wink to Leandra before turning back to Adriel.

Leandra quickly figured out what Elora was trying to tell her: "Don't do anything funny, and come out to Adriel."

She didn't back down, though, and said, "You're a great Romeo, but I came here just to be his friend."

Adriel stopped for a second, not sure what was going on.

"It's all good, but then it's our turn, Adriel," Elora said as she pulled Adriel back to the stage by his shirt.

She would do anything to keep Leandra from getting close to Adriel and telling him she was a girl.

She was about to stop Adriel from leaving when she got an unexpected call from Elizabeth.

She hastily retreated to the corner and picked up the receiver there.

"Leo, this is a code red; someone is after Adriel; Elora will stay to protect him; I want you to meet me here."

Leandra silently berated Elizabeth, "Damn, even in situations like this, she doesn't miss a chance to tease me by calling me Leo. Why can't she ever say my real name?"

"Say what you want as quickly as you can because I don't have time to waste."

"Someone found out about Adriel's curse, and now they want to use him."

"That's unforgivable," Leandra retorted hastily.

"I agree... but we need to find out why these people are doing this."

"We'll figure it out together."

"Good, let's go, Leo!"

As soon as the phone went dead, Leandra ran towards the door.

"Wait! Where are you going?!"

Adriel shouted.

Adriel asked Leandra a question that she couldn't answer because she was in a hurry to get to the hideout. She knew she had just missed an opportunity to talk to him.
Since she was the one making the sacrifice, she was the one who deserved him.
