Chapter 1: I Quit!!!

“Raizel, you must die for getting in the way of being with my love”. 

A beautiful sexy crimson colored hair  woman with a sword in her hand pointed directly at the neck of the man lying on the ground. 

She stared coldly at him with the intention to kill. However; the man seemed to show no signs of fear or struggle. On the contrary, the man with blue eyes seems to show no life at all as if he doesn't care if he lives or dies. 

This clearly handsome man is Raizel Phoenix of the Phoenix clan in the underworld. 

Raizel is the third son of the Phoenix’s family. However, he is labeled as a disappointment in his own family because he didn’t have the common traits his family has. And that is the regeneration ability whereas all the Phoenix have. 

The person pointing the sword at his neck is his ex-fiancé who hated him for always pestering her and getting in her way of being with her lover. 

His ex-fiancé names Rachel Gremory the first daughter of the family and the second oldest in the siblings. He has a political marriage contract with her because he is a disappointment and being married off is the only contribute in the family. But surprisingly after lying eyes on her once he was charmed by her beauty and he fell in love instantly. 

So he started to send her gifts and acted as her licking dog and gaining her hatred. This licking dog behavior kept on going until an average looking male swooped in and saved Rachel from her marriage contract and humiliated Raizel along the way. This results in Rachel falling in love with the man who humiliates Raizel and embarrassing the Phoenix family.

With nothing to contribute in the family, Raizel was disowned and got kicked out from the family. But he couldn’t accept this and chose to keep pestering Rachel hoping she’ll accept his feelings. 

This just ends up making Rachel's hatred for him rise to the extreme and as well as getting humiliated by Rachel's lover along the way over and over.

Fast forward to the current time, the same woman Raizel loves is about to kill him. But by this time he’s already dead on the inside and lost his will to keep living. 

“Any last words before you die?” The coldness in Rachel's voice was like ice that could freeze even hell. But to her surprise, Raizel didn’t even flinch at her words.

“No” 

Raizel gives a simple response before finally getting stabbed in the throat causing him to struggle from the pain a little before finally dying there on the spot.

“System, tell me why I’m back from the beginning!!?” The voice of Raizel echoed throughout the big luxurious room which clearly had rage in his tone. The rage on his handsome face can clearly be seen in full view showing us that his mood is unstable.

You may wonder what Raizel is talking about right now right? Well there is a secret Raizel has been hiding from everyone. That is that he is a reborn person who was originally not from this world.

Actually, the world he is currently in right now is a fictional world and he  is the cannon fodder male supporting vailline in this world. Raizel is from the real world and the world he is in right now is a fictional Japanese light novel. 

Before reborn into this cannon fodder body; Raizel was a senior high school student with A grades and was into mechanical engineering, art, music, anime  and fashion designing. It is easy to say that Raizel Schneider has a bright future ahead of him.

That was until a school shooting happened in his own school resulting in 16 deaths and 27 injuries. Sadly Raizel Schneider was one of the 16 that was killed. 

Of course when he died; he didn’t expect to be reborn into a fictional world he saw in the real world. Yes, Raizel likes watching anime, reading manga and light novels here and there. Now Raizel was never a big weeb if he was ever at all. So when he got reborn, all he could do was cry. To make things even worse, finding out that he is Raizel Phoenix, the tragic cannon fodder villain from the anime he watched titled “High School DXD” only adds up to his emotional damage. 

All Raizel could do was cry in the corner wondering why he deserved such fate. While he’s still sulking, he hears a voice in his head causing him to see a screen with writings on it. This no doubt makes his mood better at a lightning speed, thinking that he has something to change his fate with. 

But he couldn’t be more wrong.

The screen he saw is a system that he only sees in manga. And he knows how the system works reading those manga. The common trope is mostly about a guy getting summoned in a fantasy world and getting a system to help make him become stronger so he could defeat the evils hunting the world. 

However, What he got was nothing like what he imagined. The system he got didn’t encourage him to change his fate but rather to follow his fate. This obviously discourages him but the system did give him a good deal to make sure he stays positive. 

The system told him if he completed his own plot 100% he’ll get rewarded with great ability that could even kill gods and as well as going back to his own world. The only downside is his ability will temporarily be locked and won’t be able to be used until he gets back to his world. 

This wasn’t to his liking, but at the same time he gets why the system temporarily locked his awards away. After all, if he gets an overpowered ability every time he completes his plot; then the protagonist of this fictional world won’t be able to defeat him. So it wasn’t bad, not only will he get back home if completed the plot but also get god tier rewards out of it. So getting humiliated seems completely worth it.

With that, Raizel's attitude turns completely positive. unbeknownst to him however, this life he is forced to live will completely change him to something he thought he could never become.

The system voice in Raizel's head sounded disappointed. This however only makes Raizel even more angry to the point where his whole head is about to explode. 

“Are you telling me to replay these shitty plots for the hundredth time!!?”

At this point Raizel is about to completely lose his sanity. This wasn’t the first time he finished the plots, but a ninety ninth time. So when the system asked him to play the one hundredth round, he couldn’t take it anymore.

Over the past years he played the role as the cannon fodder, he developed many mental illnesses along the way. Depression, PTSD, Anxiety and many more that he has contracted along his difficult journey. 

He used many pills a day to make sure he didn’t lose his sanity. But even then he still did lose it a couple of times. Every time he loses his sanity and goes on a rampage, the system will immediately collapse and restart the plot. There is also the fact that he died from depression once and didn’t realize he died until he found out that the plot got reset. 

[Sorry host, but I know you will be able to finish the plot. I have faith in you.]

The system rings in Raizel's head again only to cause the anger in his heart to rise to the extreme.

“Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UUUUUP!!!” 

The rage in Raizel's voice echoed throughout the luxurious room. The rage in his voice sounds like an insane man who’s ready to kill anyone he sees. It was clear that he’s no longer taking shit from the system.

[listen host, I-]

“SHUT UP!!! I quit being the villain you hear me? If you don’t separate yourself from me; I swear I’ll killed my self and take you with me!!” With those words, Raizel put his right palm on his chest ready to blast a hole through himself.

“I’ll give you 3 seconds or you die with me!”

“3”

[Host]

“2”

[You don’t-]

“1”

[Okay I’ll separate myself from you host.]

“Good! And make sure you unlock the gifts I earned the past ninety-ninth round or you’re dead with me!”

[I promise to leave you and unlock the gifts you earned. Good luck host, I hope you live a happy and joyful life.]

With those last words from the system, the system voice inside Raizel's head instantly disappears along with the system screen making the room fall into silence. The soundless room makes Raizel feel at ease, as if the never ending nightmare he had is finally over. 

“You bet I’m gonna live a happy and joyful life. Especially if you’re not around to screw up my life.”

Raizel said with a happy but sinister smile. However; his smile dropped quickly when a painful headache possessed him. But that is not all, his body is also affected by the pain as well. That however did not make him yell out in pain, instead he had a smile on his face.

The headache he felt is just the knowledge about the gifts he earned processing through his mind. The pain in his body is his body adapting itself from the unlock power he gained through the humiliation he suffered. 

Raizel could feel his body becoming stronger, and with the knowledge he gained, he already knew all the details of his own powers and how to use it. 

“Incredible! So these are my powers? With all these godlike abilities this whole fictional world is already in the palm of my hand!”

 Raizel smiles grows sinister thinking about all the things he could do with these powers. He only wants to get his revenge at first, but now that he knows he can have the world in his hand, why just stop at getting revenge? This fictional world bound him to a life of tragedy, so why not give the paybacks to the world too? Raizel sinister aura grows more without even questioning the morals and the path he chose to walk. 

But then again, can a man who is at the break of insanity care about such things as morals?
