Morning finally came and Master Wu woke up. It was a sleepless night and the fact that he woke up took a stone off my chest.

"Thanks, but you should have brought me to the meeting place. You don't have to worry about the suit and gloves I can talk to Amon and get another set. What friend?"

"The kind of friend that you can't take with you to an equalist meeting."

"God damn it, Ethan! You know I don't like benders."

"All I want you to do for now is to stop looking at the world with fury goggles on. Try to look at benders like they are people, not monsters. Now let's stop with this and come eat with me, Nya went to work earlier so it's just the two of us."

We ate while talking about what the next step was. He told me that in a few months we will take over Republic City. I already knew about that but he told me the details and I got to say, it was impressive, the coordination and the execution needed for the plan were amazing and because of my angels, it flowed more smoothly. The more I looked at the plan the more I thought I need to get involved in the story. I knew I changed things but I didn't know by how much, now I started to see them snowball out of proportion. If I followed my original plan then by the time I would step in it would be too late.

We finished eating and I walked Wu out.

"Yes, what about it?"

"I'll try... I'll stop looking at the world full of hatred."

After he left I went back to my workbench and took one of my notebooks. Since the butterfly effect seems to come in effect here I need a new strategy so I started to write down all the events of Amon's rebellion. I with this timeline I started to tweak, looking for the perfect moment to intervene to change events, it took me half an hour but I finally formulated a plan to move forward. I take a good look at the paper so that it remains imprinted in my memory and I rip the page and burn it.
