Chapter 7: Chapter 7 – Wolfy

Cracking could be heard throughout the room and the egg was shaking as the thing inside was trying to break out.

Shaman quickly dives to the floor watching the egg intently.

Eventually after a couple of minutes the egg finally opens up to reveal a Black furred wolf with white tips on its ears and tail. Its tail flops out of the egg and it raises its head looking at Shaman with bright blue eyes. Shaman could not hold her excitement anymore.

"IT'S SO CUUUUTTEEE!!!!" Shaman lifts the cup sized wolf up with her eyes shining brightly then a system pop up appears.

[Wolf egg has been hatched]

[It recognizes you as its mother what shall you name it]

'YES, I can name it but I'm terrible with names but I want a cute name.' Shaman places the baby wolf back down by its egg and starts eating its shell.

'It seems like eating the egg to get stronger is true I think? It should be fine if you're willing to eat it. Now for a name, maybe I should just go with Wolfy, simple and it's cute.

'Yes' The system window closed and the happy wolf's forehead who is currently still munching on the shell started to glow a little then another system message appeared.

'THAT'S NO FAIR, why does my newly born child get to be stronger than me.' Shaman cries a silent  tear and turns to the adorable Wolfy who just finished eating.

Shaman walks over it and starts petting the smoll boy with a blissful expression.

"You even have similar fur like me, I can already tell we are going to be great companions and I swear as your mother I will protect you.' Wolfy puts his head further into Shaman's palm wanting more pats.

"Oh you, you're just too adorable , I just can't resist you." Shaman then decides to play with Wolfy showering it with affection and the little pup was having a blast. Shaman after playing with her new little child decides to feed it some of the meat she got earlier.

Little Wolfy's eyes lit upon seeing the meat and devoured the food. Shaman watching this melted in the cuteness and could not believe she got such a cute companion and it is even stronger than her and it's a cub!

After Wolfy finished her meal she decided to give it a bath to freshen up her little pal. She picks up Wolfy and holds him like a baby while scratching its stomach.

Shaman froze for a second as she did not realize some 'things' were missing when she was transported to this world but she was too busy focusing on the task at hand.

With a dead expression she comes to realize she has lost her 'assets.'

While still holding Wolfy he is looking up curiously wondering why the scratches stopped, not understanding why starts lightly slapping her chest with his paw.

'how could I have not noticed my perfectly sized breasts gone missing and now I have become a literally chopping board, no wonder the men here aren't lusting over me because they think I'm a child.' Shaman's jaw stays open as her soul is starting to leave her but then is brought back by the slapping of little Wolfy.

"oh yes a bath, Little Wolfy you will make me forget about my pains." Wolfy lets out a quiet woof in response and they head for the bath. Surprisingly Wolfy was okay with water and was having fun playing in the water.

After washing up Wolfy and seeing that it is still in the afternoon decides to take Wolfy outside to get him familiar with its surroundings. She puts him on her shoulder and heads out.

After exploring the city a little, Wolfy who was timid at first but after wandering around it relaxed a little and snuggled into Shaman's cheek. Shaman who was trying to make sure that Wolfy was having a smooth ride could not help but giggle a little at Wolfy. While being distracted Shaman ends up walking into an ally.

While attending to Wolfy 2 males and a female block her path.

Halting her steps she looked at the 3 adventurers that seemed to be only E rank and was trembling a little as the thoughts of killing appeared again.

The group noticing her shaking they spoke up

"Well looks like we got quite a catch, her fur looks like it will go for a fortune not to mention that little wolf." A man spoke while licking his lips.

"I can't wait to play with her" the women said in a lustful voice

Wolfy, noticing the malice and the feelings that Shaman is feeling, jumps down getting into a fighting stance ready to attack and lets out an aggressive woof.

"Oh look at that cute thing standing up for its dead master." The second man spoke up.

upon hearing this Shaman woke up a little and instantly equipped her sword and got ready to fight.

"looks like we got a feisty one, boys, let's get her." The women commanded the 2 men to attack one rushing Shaman while the other for Wolfy.

Wolfy, recognizing it as a threat disappeared in the shadow confusing him and then appearing behind him. Before the man could notice his family jewels seemed to have disappeared, before the pain kicked in he turned around seeing the wolf throw its jewels to the side.

The pain finally caught up with the man and he passed out in an instant.

On Shaman's side not wanting to kill turned to the blunt side of the sword.

The man saw this and mockingly said "You can't even hold a sword, look, we get a delicious meal tonight."

As he finished the sentence Shaman activated the sword dash, getting behind the man and smacking her sword at the back of his head, cracking his skull and knocking him out.

Shaman glanced over to Wolfy to see his situation and to her surprise her worries were not needed as she saw him discard the man's balls and her mouth twitched a little upon looking at the scene.

'Despite being a Pup, it is ruthless!' Another thing she noticed was that she got EXP from the Wolfy beating the man.

[EXP + 30]

[EXP + 15]

[New skill, learnt Dash]

'!!!' Shaman eyes widen at the message

'Looks like I can teach myself skills that are good to know.' Shaman then brings her attention back to her current situation.

She was glad that Wolfy ignored the man after he passed out and trotted over back to Shaman and jumped on her soldier. Shaman was not expecting it to be able to do the jump that high and could not help but look at Wolfy with shock.

'I can't underestimate you, now at least I know I got a reliable companion.' Shaman gives Wolfy pats for its effort then a thud could be heard in front her.

The woman fell over and was in shock as her men were taken out in mere seconds by a little girl and a baby wolf and could not help but fall over in fear.

"Yo- You M-mm-mmm-MONSTER!" the women screamed out.

"jeez do you have to be so loud, plus they are not dead, only knocked out and I'm not a MONSTER!" Shaman then smashes her sheath on the lady's head knocking her out instantly.

Shaman puts her weapon away, crossing her arm and pouts. 'I hope I can evolve so I get out of this body, if anything it's causing more problems. Plus how am I going to get a handsome husband with this pitiful body that has no curves whatsoever.' Shaman walks off quickly 'borrowing' their money pouches and continues to complain mentally on the way home.

Shaman arrives back at her apartment and gives Wolfy another wash to get the filth of the mans jewels off him.

"You're such a good boy, I'll make sure you become the strongest wolf and we will become the unstoppable duo!" Shaman with fire in her eyes, showers Wolfy in pats congratulating on his efforts.

After washing up Wolfy she places him on the bed and checks out her new skill

[Quickly move a few meters ahead of you in a instant]

'Hmm again with the compatibility with elements, I wonder how I can unlock the different elements, do I have to learn or do I have to imagine it and project on my magic. Maybe even with special stones that will just unlock it. I haven't seen anyone use any elemental magic so it must be hard to get or take a long time to learn' Shaman pondering on how she could harness the elements notices that it has now gone dark.

'I guess I'll think about it tomorrow and do some experiments when hunting tomorrow.' Shaman gets changed into night ware and gets into bed.

Wolfy goes up to Shaman and takes a seat next to her head and falls asleep.

Such a cutie.' Shaman lightly pats Wolfy and then eventually falls asleep.
