The 5 of us left the building with the location marked on our map.
It was about 15 minutes away from our current location. We did go see the area and it was good. The river water was clean and the forest seemed full of vegetation and animals that we could hunt. We came back and paid the money and got the legal documents which proved we owned the land.
I had a house in my mind. I sat there and thought deeply about the house I wanted. I thought about all the material we needed. Cement, wood, plywood, glass, bricks, iron rods and paint. I sat there about what seemed like 4 hours deeply thinking about every single intricate detail regarding the house. There were 2 floors. The ground floor will be basically a parking area for our carriage and car, if I make one in the future, and the 1st floor is exactly like my apartment. 4 rooms, an open kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets and living room. The floor was made of marble in the kitchen and bathroom just like my old home and the rest of the floor was covered with carpet. I stood up and used all the magic I had to create the house. It appeared slowly but surely it worked. I had to also think about the sewage system which for now is just 40 feet under the ground 100 meters away from our house. I think most of the garbage will be biodegradable so it shouldn’t pose an issue for us. I fainted right as the house finished.
I woke up after an uncertain amount of time on my bed.
Alice was looking around the place. The other 3 ran up to me and bombarded me with questions about the house.
“Sire, what is the floor in the kitchen made of? It’s smooth but hard. It is not like the material used in houses or even castles. The floor everywhere else is covered in this soft and warm. There are 4 rooms which are weird. 2 have these seats with holes in them and other 2 have water come out from the top.” Sasaki was completely blown away from the house.
Since there was a water source near us, I had used that to fill in tanks that were on the roof and then use gravity for everything else. I couldn’t come up with a working plumbing system so I had to work around it. My physics textbooks have helped a lot.
Working toilets were the hardest to come up with but overall the house was functioning fine. I have to just get an air conditioning unit and we are good to go. Since, I could create just about anything if I can imagine it properly, I should work on a battery of some sort and create electricity just for this house.
There is no way I’ll let that sorry excuse of a queen get a hold of my technology.
“Those 2 seats are toilets and when you press the button on top of it, it makes your excrement go away. The rooms where water comes from above are showers, you can bathe underneath it. It’s like rain, right? I used marble for the floor because it doesn’t catch fire, especially when we work in the kitchen. This house is pretty much immune to many natural disasters as well.
Actually this is an exact replica of the house I used to live in.”
“Your house from your world?” Sasaki was quite surprised by it.
“Your house had constant running water?” I just nodded to Leanna’s question.
I got out of bed and stretched my body which seemed stiff. I must’ve really exhausted myself from creating the house but I still need air conditioning and light bulbs in the house.
“Anyways, I’ll try enrolling into a school.” I announced when I heard a knock on the door. I rushed downstairs and checked through the peephole. It was Shiroyu. I opened the door and let her in.
“Reminds me of those days.” She smiled looking around. “There’s something nostalgic about this dystopian looking apartment.”
“So you and I are from the same world, right?”
“Oh? I thought you’d know that. It doesn’t matter. Here is your ID for school. It’s an ID of Deem Private academy. Pretty narcissistic but who am I to call someone else arrogant. I told them you don’t have magic so expect to be treated badly and the other 3 can’t join you. You have to survive on your own.”
I nodded.
Shiroyu somehow always knew what I was talking about but I had stopped questioning her sudden convenient appearances. First at the beach, then in the castle and now. Maybe that’s the Grand Order for you.
“I want you to meet up with Professor Frieda and tell her I have sent you. She is the only one who knows you are strong. She will give you guidance and for that you’ll be living in the school’s dorms.”
“But my house… I just made it.” I whined but she shushed me.
“These 4 can live here comfortably. You need to get stronger quicker to become part of the Grand Order.”
“Why are you hiding his magic powers?” Sasaki asked Shiroyu.
“That’s the narrative I came up with to avoid him from getting into big troubles. If he doesn’t have magic people wouldn’t indulge with him and he will have more time to learn from Frieda.” Shiroyu explained.
“But considering Kara’s personality, isn’t it too optimistic to think he wouldn’t cause troubles? He is not the type to listen to someone disrespect him so… I mean he talked back to the Queen of this kingdom.” Historia finally started talking again. It’s been a few days since I had heard her say this much.
“Well then I can’t do anything about it. He will have to manage that by himself.” Shiroyu just shrugged.

“I don’t think it will be that difficult. You guys are just overexaggerating things.” I replied wondering why they’d be so worried. I mean I was homeschooled so I have absolutely no idea how things work in school except for second hand information.
“I will go out and buy some ingredients. Leanna, stay with them, I don’t know what Mira would do.”
I left the house and took a long way to the main market of the capital. I decided to get my gold giz exchanged for smaller currency for convenience at a merchant’s guild.
I bought a week’s worth of groceries which were basically meat, spices, vegetables and flour. After buying the essentials, I thought of going around and enjoying myself a little bit. I should try out this country’s street food. I always loved the street food of Japan and India in my own world. There is just something about street food that I can’t put my finger on but honestly, I would take street food over restaurant food anyday.
So, anyways, demi-humans and humans seemed to live in harmony.
I also saw some elves and I have to say that they were extremely beautiful.
This fantastical world was so much nicer than my own world. Maybe I could live here after all.
My world is too hectic and fast moving. You’re constantly doing something. First school, then entrance, then college and then get a job. All this happens in about 25 years. But this world seemed so much calmer. I know this world has its own problems but what world doesn’t? It’s all about making compromises.
I tried almost every street food I could see and I loved all of them. But what stuck out to me was this weird dumpling. I couldn’t tell exactly what it had in it though.
“Um… Sir, what’s the filling in this?”
“That’s red rabbit meat mixed with some vegetables.”
“And the covering? What is it made of?”
“It’s made from red rabbit’s skin. I don’t like wasting food, y’know.”
Interesting. I think the best way to describe it is a weird mixture between chicken and pork. It wasn’t as chewy as pork but not as juicy as chicken either. It was more on the fatty side so maybe that made it tastier. I bought a lot of them for Alice, Historia, Leanna and Sasaki.
While on my adventure around the town, I saw many people starving and begging for food. Some were passed out in alleyways.
“Hey~ young boy. Why don’t you come over?” A woman asked. She was wearing suggestible clothes. I’m old enough to understand where this was going but I don’t have time for this. I don’t want the dumplings to get too cold.
“Don’t be so cruel~” She decided to follow me while trying to act cute and vulnerable. I know times are hard and you need money but I have dumplings so please…
I was walking past an alleyway when I was stabbed in the stomach by some dude.
I created some pain killer in my mouth and ingested it and fell on the ground pretending to be in pain.
The woman laughed hysterically and picked up my groceries. You could’ve just asked for money… The guy started searching my clothes and found nothing. I had actually teleported all my money using the box Shiroyu had given me back at the castle.
The woman rolled her eyes in annoyance.
“So we are just getting these fruits… I wish we got money out of him. I need some alcohol.” She said in a disappointed tone.
“Let’s take him with us and sell his body parts off. I’ve heard nobles pay a lot for human body parts.” The man who stabbed me said.
Nobles paying for body parts sounds suspicious. I’ll stay like this for now. I was taken into a rundown building and tossed onto a table.
The man pulled out a paper on which probably some names were written. The words were small so they were definitely not sentences which was the basis of my theory that this was a list of names or body organs.
“This guy had been asking for a heart for a while now.” The man said, pointing to a name.
