Chapter 1: Chapter 1

*You've been granted an opportunity to enter the one piece world. Enter two devil fruit power that you want.*

'Well that's interesting' Ray thought to himself while staring at the computer screen. He moved his cursor towards the text box and after clicking on it he entered the name of the devil fruits.

1) Ethereal Kisser Devil fruit.

2) Overpowered Devil fruit

'I might as well try entering these random devil fruits names and see what happens' was the thought going through Ray's mind while he was entering the names.

Ray then pressed enter hoping to find the error message but instead of that he suddenly felt weak and lost his consciousness.

*You've been successfully transferred to the one piece world...Error 404: Devil fruits not found in the inventory...Reading the entry made by the user.... processing... adding those devil fruits properties innately...Task Completed.*

Ray soon opened up his eyes to find himself in a new environment. The surroundings looked as if he was in an anime. He then shifted his focus from his surroundings to himself. There were several questions roaming in his head but before he could think over them he remembered what happened before he lost consciousness...and after he did that he also remembered hearing the systematic voice of a person in his dream.

He clearly remembered what was said in the dream before he opened his eyes. 'So I really am in the One Piece world.' Ray thought to himself and couldn't help but punch the ground in frustration. He clearly had such a golden opportunity to choose any two devil fruits and what did he do with such a golden opportunity? He wasted it.

'Sigh.' What's done was done and he couldn't do anything to change it. He just hoped that the innate ability he got from his entered devil fruits would be very helpful. It would be a sucker if he'll have to become strong slowly and steadily. 

After being frustrated over this matter for a while Ray finally looked around his surroundings. He was on some remote island. As for which part of the one piece world he had no clue. Having nothing to do Ray stood up on his feet and started exploring the island in order to find some inhabitants. On the way, Ray made sure to cover himself with the bigger leaves he had found, a pity it was all for a not because the island was completely uninhabited. 

"Great! Now I'm stuck on this island with nowhere out." Ray said out loud. Ray went towards the ocean thinking that he might be able to catch a glimpse of some ship and ask them for help but unfortunately, he couldn't find any. He looked down at his reflection on the water surface.

This was his first time looking at his reflection after entering this world. Ray was in the body of a teenager who seemed to be around the age of sixteen years. He had dark silky hair over his smooth handsome face which had no signs of any blemishes. His body was also in great shape completely opposite to his stick-like body of the past. His current looks could only be described with one word, handsome.

"With a face and body like that woman would be fawning over me...well at least I have something to look forward to...provided I don't die early that is. Ray took some fruits and ate them as he sat on the ground making plans on what he should be doing next. After thinking about it for a while Ray finally decided to increase his overall strength while on this island. Ray was right now betting on that overpowered innate ability of his...

'It should work right?' Ray thought to himself. He started with light jogging around the island ending the session with sprinting at the end. His speed was not bad in terms of an average human. He took in a few breaths to relax and surprisingly he felt his exhaustion slowly fading from his body. He was back to his fresh state. 

Ray decided to do the same routine again and after completing it he found that it felt a bit easier than his earlier attempt and just like before he felt the exhaustion slowly leaving his body thus reinvigorating him. "Awesome" Ray thought out loud. Like this, I don't have to worry about exhausting my body and can keep on training.

Ray shifted to other exercises and felt his strength in doing them increasing after each reset. His initial aim was to increase his physical abilities to a level above the normal where he could be considered strong by the people and then he would start training other abilities like Haki and all.

It has been more than four months since Ray arrived in this world. During this time he had been constantly training his physical body to its limits again and again. 

He was now doing his regular cardio session while carrying a large piece of log on his back. Initially, he wasn't even able to cover one-third of the distance by walking but now he was able to run with that log on his back.

It felt amazing seeing the fruits of his labor so quickly. He had also been doing weighted exercises with all the heavy things he could find on the island. 

Ray thought that it was around time for him to start including Haki training in his training as well. The first thing he thought of learning was armament haki.

Armament haki works on the principle of making one's spirit flow out of the body and cover certain parts or all of the body. This was something Ray was already aware of but knowing was one thing and doing it in practice was another. He had almost no idea where to start. 

"It's alright, even though I have not much idea if I give it a try then I might succeed.' Ray thought to himself as he clenched his teeth and tried to harden his fist.

"Uuuuuaaaahhh"

"..."

Nothing happened...

"It's alright Ray don't lose hope let's try for observation haki and conqueror's haki." Ray consoled himself.

A few minutes later...

"Fuck this shit! I'll just focus on my building up my speed, strength, and endurance then." Ray said to himself when he realized that he was unable to find a starting point for this training.
