Chapter 19: Officially a Hermit

I was invited to the temple for a Tea by their Council of Elders, I was guided to a hot spring called well of Earth spirits and was given white Tibetan monk clothes ( Reference A**g). 

Honestly, these guys got 5 stars in my book for hospitality, now that I think about it the king didn't mention a forest after crossing the Valley of Wyverns either he lied, or this is some worthy one shenanigan plot. 

The steps were massive so just skipped Three or four at once. It took us 12 minutes to reach the temple, especially because Plum the guide was taking his merry time climbing at his own pace. At the top, there was a huge Double Door made of obsidian-colored Wood. I was encouraged to open the door by the guards and Plum with a mischievous smile. I pushed with everything I had but only managed to open it a meager inches apart I got a pretty good idea that the doors had an interlinked weight system and took a look at the Door material itself with Appraisal Skill which was also suspicious. < 100-year-old Celestial Mahogany Wood > 

Plum and the guards laughed at my struggles I took a step back and this time I used the Dragon aura to boost myself physically and used Arcane Eye to analyze the Door and a psychic boost and Yggdrasil Essence with all three of my mana sources. I pushed aside the two doors apart with ease turns out that inside the walls were Vertical Jade Slabs that had to be crushed to a fine powder courtesy of Plum informing me. After overcoming his Jaw-dropping phase, I saw Monumental Seven Chairs and a hall, with Pillars made of the same wood as the Doors. 

The largest Panda setting under an ink Calligraphic painting of a Peach Tree in the middle and end of the hall with <???> and a row of 3 Pandas on either side with their throne of sorts who had 200 and Above Levels. I had a feeling of deep regret about showing off before since now I lost the element of surprise.
