Chapter 20: Continents and Oceans

Plum: I shall be your guide in getting a Ki manual. We will have to get you the Continents and Oceans manual which should be enough to help you restrain and use your potential properly. 

I follow nodding my head occasionally. We entered a cave that lead to a library with scrolls Gaint leaves and stone slabs with texts on them. I was told to browse and take any material from the shelves while waiting for them to make a copy of the original Continents and ocean manual. 

There were many sections most were based on profession-related materials and knowledge rather than combat-related. There was an interesting series called Art of  Gravity that grabbed my attention. Other things that caught my interest were the Journey of a healer and the Records of a traveling merchant. 

Other than that I found nothing of interest.

I accepted it and opened one of my books and stored it on a page. I showed the records which I wanted to borrow and got copies of those within a few minutes which I added to my book. I was given a guest cottage with enough space to live for a month after which I am free. Interesting fact panda cubs like me because I keep emitting the Life essence so essentially I was a kindergarten teacher for one week. 

The way to practice the technique is first to condense the Life essences into one's own body and then practice the moves the technique is divided into two parts Ocean and Continents, Ocean mainly refers to the defensive style and Continents refers to the offensive style. It also has a Passive skill < Life essence Regeneration > which I can use to refill my HP bar or my Allies/summoned beasts HP bar. Another passive benefit that was not mentioned is clear skin and smooth hair.

After a week of practicing, I managed to control the enormous amount of Life essence. For the next month, I had to learn how to make vital pills which was an alchemic recipe. The lake of Life was the fun part all I had to do was swim in it with my aura unrestrained the water is crystal clear.  After a month I got a hermit set which is a Kasa hat, a Gourd bottle of spring water, and big prayer Beads. I didn't get the bamboo staff though. I think it's so that their identity is revealed outside their realm. 

I was escorted out through the mist by Plum he was a good fellow I bid him farewell and thanked him for everything.
