Antonio grew bored and turned to Juliano to say something, but the seat was empty. He frowned, thinking that it’s been quite some time now that Juliano was in the toilet.

Lifting his hand, he said, “Aunty Simone, Romeo didn’t come back yet.”

Simone was helping one child with their painting when she heard this. She turned to Antonio and said, “Go find him for me.”

Antonio didn’t waste a second and bolted out of the door. The toilet wasn’t far away, so he was there within a minute.

He called and called, then opened all the stalls, but there was no Juliano. He frowned and rushed back to the classroom.

Looking inside at their table, but Juliano wasn’t there.

Simone looked at him. “Where’s Romeo?”

“He’s not in the toilet,” he answered.

Simone walked up to him after telling her assistant that she’ll be back. They checked the toilets. The second nearest toilets, then the other classrooms, then her nervous went haywire.

She sent Antonio back to the classroom and went running around looking for Juliano and screaming his name.

The other teachers started looking for him too as she rushed to the office to inform the principal.

He ordered his secretary to look for Juliano on the security cameras with the help of the admin lady while he went to speak to the security guards.

The men were perplexed because no one suspicions came to the school or exited the school.

The police were called and so were Romeo and Halo. Before the police arrived, Romeo and Halo got there.

Romeo was beyond furious. They were taken into the principal’s office who said, “Mr and Mr Washington, I am so sorry that this happened.”

“Did you call the police?” Halo asked frantically. He couldn’t even sit down and was quick to suspect that Romeo was behind this or had some connection to Juliano’s disappearance.

They argued on their way to the school and Halo had put the blame on Romeo because it had to do with him.

“We did. They are on their way,” he answered.

Romeo asked calmly, “And the cameras? I’ve seen them around the school. Did you check them?”

“It’s being checked as we speak,” he assured them.

Just then, the secretary rushed in with a horrific expression on her face.

Romeo stood up before the principal could say anything. He walked out and grabbed her hand as he passed by her.

“Tell me what you saw,” he said.

“I, I, I,” she tried, but was terrified.

They arrived at her desk, and he sat down in the chair. The admin lady knew who he was and thought that he wanted to see for himself what happened.

She backed the video up and played it for him.

In the passage, Juliano went to the toilet, but you couldn’t see what happened inside. Not long after that, a woman walked into the toilet and soon after, walked out with an unconscious Juliano over her shoulder.

She ran down the passage and placed Juliano inside the bin that was there and left.

Romeo frowned, thinking that Juliano could still be inside there.

“Wait,” the lady said as he got up.

He sat back down and looked at her. “What is it?”

She went out of the video and opened up another from a different angle.

The woman returned not long after and took the bin out with help from the janitor.

She played another angle for him, and it was in the school parking lot.

After the woman had asked the janitor to move the bin. They went inside, with her sneaking out again. She removed the unconscious Juliano from the bin and placed him in the trunk of her car.

She returned inside and left ten minutes later.

Romeo looked at the secretary and asked, “Who is she?”

“She a 5th grade teacher, Miss Anna Steward,” she said.

Halo walked over as Romeo was trying to figure things out. Halo looked at Romeo’s frown; he wanted to follow Romeo out when he left but he didn’t want to know what happened to his son and now, from the look on his face, he was wishing Romeo never existed.

“What is it?” Halo asked.

What happened was explained to Halo and the principal. When Halo heard the woman’s name, he turned to Romeo and saw that he already knew who she was.

The police came, and they did a further investigation. The security tapes were watched and both Halo and Romeo were spoken to separately.

The principal was also cross questioned why this would happen to a pupil that had been here for over a year already.

With how handsome Romeo was, they even suspected that he had seduced the lady and left her.

Romeo walked over to Halo, who was sitting on a chair with his face in his palms, crying.

He hugged Halo and said, “Everything will be okay.”

Halo looked at him and asked, “How? We don’t even know who she is. Like they said, there should have been a ransom call already, but there’s nothing and it’s been over two hours already.”

Romeo hugged him. He had nothing to tell say to him; it was just all too much right now.

Halo was getting better, and things with Juliano seemed in place now, but then this happens.

Antonio had told his father about what happened, and Anthony quickly rushed in looking for them using his identity as a police officer.

“Is there any news?” He asked.

Halo felt relieved when he saw Anthony, but then again, although their sons got along, their fathers didn’t.

Halo shook his head, letting his tears fall. Anthony looked over at Romeo and read the look in his eyes.

After a while, Romeo met Anthony behind the building. “What is it?”

Romeo stared at him and found this hard to say but said, “Remember Nicola Steward?”

He shook his head.

“The ex-girlfriend I supposedly killed,” he said, reminding him.

Anthony recalled her name, then nodded her head. The woman who took Juliano was also a Steward.

“It’s her sister or well Nicola was adopted into their family. Nicola’s father was just a father on the outside, in that house, the three daughters come from orphanages and along with ‘his’ wife, they have orgies and sex parties with other families similar to theirs that’s why Nicola didn’t want to let go of me,” he explained.

“For fuck’s sake!” Anthony spat, and started pacing. Never in his wildest thoughts did he think it would have been that, especially when he saw how emotional that family was over her death.

“Her father was determined to get me put behind bars. Us dating was also a farce to hide the fact that she fell pregnant many times and had to go through with abortion after abortion,” he continued.

“Wait, wait, wait. Does Halo know this?” He asked.

He shook his head, “No.”

“Why don’t you tell him? After all, you are the reason that your son is kidnapped,” he said.

Romeo cocked a brow. “So I am the reason I left instead of letting that mother fucker kill me through her?”

Anthony stepped back confused, “What do you mean?”
