Oddness

After a good night’s sleep, Cheng Zhaoci wakes up to find his sleeping partner missing once more. Thankfully, he’s still here, as evidenced by the scent of freshly cooked goodness.
Cheng Zhaoci follows right after his nose. A dreamt up buffet wouldn’t fill his stomach any.
Ah, it feels nice to have someone else in the house so one doesn’t have to face the cold walls alone. He is quite impressed that Wei Zhuo can always wake up early and on time when everyone else would probably oversleep the next day.
Maybe it has to do with grade S physical aptitude?
And Cheng Zhaoci can’t help but question himself either. Maybe, he’s just too bad at his job?
There wasn’t a successful impregnation despite a three-day session. A whole night last night and he failed to secure a hug-filled morning and a morning kiss. Oh well.
“Xiongzhu? You’re up?” Wei Zhuo notices Cheng Zhaoci sitting quietly up and blanking out staring into space, “are you feeling unwell somewhere?”
No, actually. Cheng Zhaoci feels refreshed. And honestly, isn’t he supposed to be asking Wei Zhuo that instead?
He’s a grade S male! Grade S! With superb abilities to that end! Cheng Zhaoci almost feels offended. Should he just stuff Wei Zhuo back onto the bed and commence wholesome activities?
Though Wei Zhuo will have to go back to his work this afternoon. An understanding xiongzhu that is Cheng Zhaoci has to let Wei Zhuo go.
He’s mostly busy with after-action reports, but a holiday is to follow – a whole month of holidays that the Chairman approved himself. They told them it’s to make up for a ‘honeymoon.’
A grateful Cheng Zhaoci finally abandons his scheme to further drive Bai Jun insane.
Really, while Cheng Zhaoci is a good insectoid, oftentimes, one can’t help but feel like socking him right in the self-satisfied face.
When he is not enjoying the benefits of marriage or the labours of love, and lamenting having only slept with his cijun once, he’d get pissed, but he can’t take it out on the President and the Chairman either, so his target of venting ends up being Bai Jun.

Considering Bai Jun’s appallingly inadequate social skills, it should come as no surprise that he basically follows anything Cheng Zhaoci dares to put into words. Under such circumstances, Bai Jun’s good little advertisements selling himself to potential shemale and demi suitors have invaded practically every nook and cranny of everyone’s lives.
Even Bai Jun’s poor father and dad. While Bai Jun has been vaguely happy with the results so far, but the Chairman himself would much rather not see his son in a long while – nor any of the increasingly desperate advertisements for at least a week.
Well, only ‘vaguely’ happy, because while the advertisements drew in unprecedented amount of interest in Bai Jun, he still couldn’t hit it off with anyone. When shemales and demis come to him, he starts talking science to them. Hard.
In order to catch up, those shemales and demis not immediately put off have worked hard to learn about and study these topics. When finally, they meet a second time, and are able to barely follow what Bai Jun is talking about, Bai Jun goes berserk picking apart their incomplete and uncertain answers.
In the end, Bai Jun is still, pitifully, alone. Cheng Zhaoci’s final advice, now that he’s back in the groove with lovey-dovey times, for a crying Bai Jun, is that his best bet is probably to marry his beloved First Research Institute instead.
So Bai Jun wails even loudlier. Cheng Zhaoci really couldn’t help out much though, because he has even seen threads emerging in online forums advising all shemales and demis to avoid the male Bai Jun.
Condensed, the advice reads, ‘if you have not the learned mind and genius talent that could land you a job in the First Research Institute, then best steer clear of this male.’
Cheng Zhaoci actually gave the thread a sneaky like.
“Say, Ci-zai, you’re not gonna get a concubine then?” When Wei Zhuo is busy finishing up his work in the army, Xiao Ji and He Huaijian are here to visit on their rare holiday, “you gonna spend your whole life together with the Vice-marshal only?”
“Yeah, pretty nice, isn’t it?” Cheng Zhaoci answers with a big happy smile. Assuming nothing happens, he’s expecting to draw comics most of the time, and occasionally get dragged in front of cameras as the grade S male mascot, and that’s it.
With Wei Zhuo being so good at cooking, with such a gentle (?), amicable personality (???), he can’t imagine any other future for himself.
“It is,” Xiao Ji nods approvingly. That’ll show those bastards in the Academy who are trying to win him over for Cheng Zhaoci.
“Just the two of you, though? No children?” He Huaijian asks a key question. Cheng Zhaoci mumbles something, then answers, “we’ll take good care of them if they come.”
Really, the topic is quite sour for him. Argh, how did Zhou Luoluo even manage to fill Lu Nianqian’s tummy with a kid when he married a year after him?
And worse, he’s taken a long leave from drawing comics for now, since he’s ready to become a father, and he doesn’t exactly need the money that badly. Not just his family, but Lu Nianqian is also a rich businessman himself. It’s not some big megacorporation, but definitely enough to support Zhou Luoluo and then some.
Really, he only joined to assist Cheng Zhaoci’s comics because he’s actually interested; Cheng Zhaoci also insisted he be paid for his work.
Though for this while – perhaps a year or so – he’d need someone else to do his detailing work. Maybe he’d just do it himself if he has the free time now.
