Chapter 1: That really hurts…

"Agh!"

I screamed after falling onto the coarse dirt.

'That really hurts...'

I thought as I began rubbing my head. A few tears were leaking from my eyes.

'Maybe I shouldn't have accepted that offer, if I were going to be thrown onto the ground...'

I complained as I began to get a hold of myself and jumped off the ground. 

'I wonder where I am.'

I thought to myself before glancing to my left.

The radiant light of the morning day flashed onto a spring of light green grass. Illuminating the bristling grass with dreams of the future.

This was the beginning of my life in another world.

"It's so beautiful!"

I ran into the grass and made grass angels. 

'Wait... What the hell am I doing...'

I got out of the grass and brushed the grass off my sweater before walking aimlessly into a forest.

'I kind of wish that I had eaten dinner prior to going here...'

I thought as I began to trek into the forest.

The trees were dead and lifeless with orange leaves scattered all across the ground.

'It seems like it's Fall in this world...'

I noted before continuing to walk.

'I wonder if I can find any food here.'

I thought to myself as the pangs of hunger and exhaustion began to come over me.

I began to pick up the pace and began looking for food. It was as if I were was a rabid pit bull looking for an unattended four year old child.

A light green bush came into view. It appeared at my side and It appeared to have sprouted some kind of berry. Perhaps it was a blueberry. After all it was some kind of shade of dark blue.

I stared at the bush before taking a berry into my hand.

"Here I go."

I said without hesitation and threw the beady looking berry into my mouth.

'Wait! It's so sweet and juicy!'

I thought to myself as my eyes widened. I felt like I could just jump in joy over such a tasty treat. Who would have known that eating some random berry would make a complete 180 on my mood?

'I should collect some more of these berries.'

I thought to myself as I began harvesting the berries and storing them in the side pockets of my jacket.

'Twenty of these berries should be enough, but I wonder if there are any other berry bushes here.'

I began glancing around for any other bushes.

It was to no avail.

It was as if there was only one berry bush in the world, and a lot of dead trees.

'It's kind of disappointing that there aren't any other berry bushes, but I wonder if there are some of other kind of food sources around me! Though these berries taste good, I don't want to exclusively eat berries for the rest of my life!'

I fell onto the dirt, sighing as I did so.

My eyes then widening.

'Weird. This world has two moons... To think that I would come to a world with two moons is honestly something unbelievable. But I wonder how the presence of two moons affects life in this world.'

I chuckled before beginning to wonder.

'If I am in a world with two moons, is it possible that I am in a world of magic? If so, does that mean I have a chance at becoming a master of the magical art-'

Wait... A thought crossed my mind.

"Oh shit! If I'm going to have to live in this world, I'm going to need a house or some kind of shelter! I need a roof over my head so I won't shrivel up and die!"

I said in shock as I began glancing around.

'I guess I should do this the Minecraft way. Getting sticks and stones, breaking some trees, then making a house!'

I thought to myself before noticing a stick on the ground.

"Ah. Here's a stick. You will be the first of many!"

I reached over for the stick and as I touched it my senses began to blur.

'Wha... Why do I feel s-'

[The Otherworldly Crafting System has activated!]

My nausea wore off as a dark blue box appeared before me. It was oddly familiar.

'Wait.. Does this mean that I am like of those Isekai protagonists with those cheat system things!?"

I screamed once again, before coming to a realization.

"Heh! Looks like God seems to favor me!"

I said with a smug look crossing my face.

[You have unlocked a new crafting recipe, thin wood strip]

"Wait. How do I use this crafting system?!"

I said as I began to stare blankly into the horizons.

'I think I'm going to suffer a lot in this world...'
