The next day, 

As the sun rose, everyone began busy cleaning up the mess due to the battle yesterday. Homes and walls were destroyed in the process.

The men of the villagers were busy rebuilding the rubbles of the village, and some even went into the forest to get some wood.

The housewives, busy cooking for their husbands who were busy rebuilding their home. They also helped their husbands with the rebuilding sometimes.

"This was really a sight to see." Alfred said as he saw the harmony between the people in the villagers. There was no unnecessary dispute, or fighting between each other.

Everyone was working hard to protect and rebuild their own village, unlike the sights he saw in his past world.

"I know right." Suddenly Milia appeared behind him, with a cheek grin on her face.

"Have you been behind all this time?" He asked as he was shocked, he couldn't sense her at all.

"Who knows, hehe?"

Alfred couldn't help but frown as she didn't even answer his question clearly.

"Don't you need to help them?"

"Nah, they said they will handle it, since I used up alot of mana to summon you, I have to rest up a bit." 

"..." Alfred suddenly turned quiet.

After a while, he asked, "Is this world… always like this? Unavoidable battles, unexpected monster invasions, is it like this everyday in this world?

Her face turned serious and her tone changed into a more serious one,

"Yes it is." She stopped her sentence. 

Alfred didn't continue the conversation, as she could feel a sense of heaviness in her words.

They both then silently stared at the scene of the village from a small hill, as the cold breeze continued to blow over them.

Their happy faces of rebuilding their home, makes their heart feeling bitter, because they knew, this happiness is only temporary.

If only one day, wars will forever cease to exist, and everyone could eat with each other on the dinner table, without worrying for their families, nor mourn for the deaths.

Alfred lets out a long sigh, as the wind continues to blow over him.
