One day after the destruction of sector R

"We have to get to the capital before it's too late," Emil said, to Yui.

The wind whip their faces as they rode together across the farmland on a rusted old motorcycle. They had narrowly escaped a new wave of monsters, which were now swarming across the peripheries of the kingdom, devouring everything in sight.

"I wonder if the army can seal the breach," Yui replied.

"They damn well better. If they can't then this whole country's going to hell," Emil said, raising his voice to the wind and wiping the bugs out of his face.

A few hours later, they reached the capital gates.

"Emil huh? I'm afraid there's a warrant out for your arrest," The guard at the city gates told him, "Come quietly, we don't want things to get complicated."

Soldiers suddenly appeared from every bush, staring him down with a wall of rifles.

"A warrant? What for?" Emil questioned them.

"It was an order that came personally from the King," He replied, he turned to the soldiers, "Restrain him!"

They tied him up with an glowing blue astral fiber, one which looked as though it was made from stars. The same material the towers were made from.

"I can't transform!" Emil yelled.

"Good, take him to the King then," The guard barked, "Oh and kill the girl. Better to leave no loose ends here."

Without hesitation they shot her point blank in the back of the head, splattering her brains and skull fragments over the stone road.

"I'll fucking kill you!" Emil shouted, before a soldier punched the wind straight out of him.

Emil gasped for air. Then another soldier hit the back of Emil's head with the butt of his rifle. After that everything went dark.

Some time later

Emil woke up in a dark room, chained to a chair, with a bright light shining on him. His right hand was bandaged up, and cover in heavy metal clamps.

"Welcome boy, to the liar of the 7 Kings," A booming voice erupted, and 7 men stepped out from the shadows, each more regal than the last.

"What the hell is going on!" Emil screamed.

They paused for a moment, watching him struggle, "We were once the great rulers of this world, long ago, before it was overrun with monsters."

"What do you want from me!"

"It's simple. We desire the greatest power this world has to offer. We desire your god hand."

"It's dog hand!" Emil corrected them.

"No you fool! It's a god hand! You used up the god hand's power on your foolish flights of fancy, so now it can no longer warp reality to save you. All along, everything that has happened to you, was the result of your god hand."

"That's a lie!"

"NO! Now be still! So we can collect our prize," The King said, swinging a longsword down on Emil's arm.

The cut was messy, coming from such an old and weak man. And it took him several attempts to hack the arm off. By the time he was done, Emil's arm was a blood stump of mangled flesh. The entire time Emil let out a blood curdling scream, that echoed throughout the castle.

"Finally! With this we can become as gods," The King and his compatriots smiled, raising the god hand over their heads.

Emil felt his conciseness fading. Then everything became dark... and still.
