Chapter 136: Against the golem~1!

During the great war which occurred between Hero and the Great Demon Lord in the manga, there came a time when the hero's party was against something they never expected.

Amongst the seven generals of the Monarch of Darkness, the sixth one who was proficient in Dark Manipulation and Mind Interference magic was the one who brought this catastrophe against Hero Kyouki.

It was a Mechanical Golem that had every kind of Element resistance and had physical prowess which could even outmatch the Hero of Light in his prime!

It was a brutal contest between the two which lasted for a whole volume(2 weeks) and only after the help of Lilia's inherited spell, the golem was put under a barrier yet not defeated.

The Hero's party was badly injured against such a danger which far surpassed the Demon General possessing it. But after their proper coordination and teamwork, it ended well.

Strangely, the same thing which Austin has seen through 2d drawings was recently summoned by the Abyssal Wizard.

The fact of the matter which made Austin perplexed was, how come this golem was here? Maybe, the creator of this war machine is also a demon? Or maybe, the demons steal it from this Abyssal Wizard?

Since curse energy works fine inside the Labyrinth, the second option seemed plausible. Well, Austin didn't have much leeway to think leisurely.

After all, Austin's subject of interest was currently raining an onslaught on him.

*DHAK*

With both hands joined, the 60 ft tall Golem with four limbs like a human and a square middle body, stomped its fist where Austin was a moment ago.

Its face just like its body, was also symmetrical with a pair of hollow eyes.

Austin felt like laughing when they saw such a cartoon as Golem in reality but again, he doesn't have the time to stop at the moment.

It seemed the mangaka didn't take time to draw this which resulted in this reality that Austin has to face.

Saya was commanded by her brother to stay on Cordelia and Kyouki's side since the Golem was huge enough to damage them through just shockwaves.

She was biting her lips in annoyance while shielding the two. In the end, her Onii-sama had to do all the things by himself.

But little did she know, Austin was just playing around with the thing while patiently waiting for the time when he could hit the big doll.

Austin was aware of the Golem's weak point which was in between its hollow eyes. One of the benefits of being a transmigrated.

Suddenly two huge blades were released by its huge smiling mouth in Austin's direction. It was rotating at high speed as it advanced toward its prey.

They clearly weren't just two rotating blades but also had some kind of sorcery involved since, even though Austin dodged and dashed in a different direction, the pieces of metal didn't lose their sight and followed their target.

Using the inhumane raw strength in his legs, Austin was shifting from one place to another in no time but still, it wasn't enough.

'It's annoying… '

Austin got enough intel on the Golem and now he was done running around.

Landing his feet abruptly, Austin turned toward the incoming blades before he applied some minuscules of mana on his senses.

Soon the rotation speed slowed down for him and also the shape of it became vivid.

It was a slim double leaf-shaped blade with a circular gap at the center, probably given as a handle.

Saya's eyes widened in a fret and Wizard's in amusement when the blades reached only some inches apart from the blond youth.

"ONII-SAMA!!"

Saya was about to jump toward the spot despite not being sure whether she could make it or not, but soon she halted upon witnessing the scene.

The Wizard also raised his brows in admiration as he saw how perceptive and observant this teenage boy is.

The reason for such a reaction was, how easily Austin dodged the blades by just tapping some certain points.

A little push at the perfect time and their trajectory were changed. The blades passed by Austin and soon collided with each other and canceled out the rotation altogether.

The whole ordeal happened in fractions of a second. No one was able to discern when Austin moved and dodged the blades with such fluency. It indeed was a surprising event.

Austin wasn't much invested in what he did as he had to take out a piece of blabbering-robed bastard first.

"XXX-XXXXXX-XXXX-XXXXX"

The Wizard's eyes couldn't be stretched more in amazement, as he heard very familiar syllables being spoken by Austin. The sorcery which reins above all. The Spiritual Magic.

Austin on the other hand, had no mind to pay attention to anyone at the moment since he was gathering a whole lot of red fiery spirits around him.

The amount was quite a lot which required just his focus not much time.

After just ten seconds, Austin had what he wanted as he channeled the energy through his pores and commanded all the spirits roaming around the floor.

"XXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX!"

The command was simple yet destructive. But the spirits loved entertainment and looking at the funny big creature, they knew it would be going to be fun.

The Golem sensed something approaching but since it wasn't just from one direction, the Killing Machine, failed to counter.

**SWOOOOSH**

Like a domain of fire suddenly raining down the sky, the Golem got covered in flames which wasn't just restricting its body and blocking its vision from its prey, but also minimizing its movement.

The fire curtains were wide enough to cover the area where the Golem could flail.

The Golem finally analyzed the situation and commenced its arms movement clockwise to extinguish the fire at least from its body.

The inhuman thing had its senses again freed as it surveyed its whole body to find the human it was preying for.

But Austin wasn't an amateur to just show up like a guest visiting neighborhood.

With his body covered with nothing but burning flames, Austin appeared in mid-air with his demonic blade raised in arc and inches apart from the forehead of the Golem.

[Hahah! How many surprises do you have in store boy? Amusing! Amusing indeed! However… ]

**CLING**

Austin's eyes widened as his blade didn't connect at the spot he wanted rather a small protective seal was broken with his strike.

**UOOOOOH**

The Golem instantly identified the human before it extend its arm and got a hold of its prey.

The spirits were also called off since the connection was lost and the whole scene returned to normal except for the fact that Austin wasn't liberated any longer.
