Chapter 137: Against the golem~2!

From what Austin read in his previous life, the Golem which the Hero party fought had its weak point situated at the middle of its eyes.

The Golem was highly precautious about its vulnerability which was why Kyouki wasn't able to finish it off despite knowing the Killing Machine's weak spot. And Kyouki only discovered this fact from his anonymous strikes all over its gigantic body.

In the end, with Lilia's inherited spell [Seal of Elhiem], the Golem was put into a slumber of eternity where only Lilia could bring it back to life.

But in the manga, no seal was found when the Hero party fought the Golem which further implies that there might not be only one of these Chaotic Machines available.

Thinking of tens of these things roaming freely on the above land would undoubtedly bring chaos. But at the moment Austin didn't have much time to mind about such things.

With a slight groan, Austin tried to break free from the cage he was caught in. But due to the restriction to his limbs, he was failing miserably.

Saya was extremely frustrated at this point since she didn't have the courage to break her brother's order and seeing him in pain was making her heart clench.

She was completely stuck!

Fortunately, Austin didn't make his sister suffer anymore.

"[Gravity Manipulation]"

Channeling heavy mana through his pores, Austin applied gravity in reversal to push the Golem's hand apart.

Like a horrifying shadow, Austin disappeared from his spot before the hand which was about to land was sliced apart from its arm.

The Golem lifted its severed arm in perplexion before it felt something massive approaching from its back.

**DHAKK**

Instinctively raising its hand above its head, the Golem saw being struck with a purple blade which was being held by the same human who seemed weakened a moment ago.

Austin didn't prolong his attack before using all the stat of his agility to move away from his spot. His eyes were slightly red without any particular emotions left in them.

The demonic sword he held suited the current self of the blond youth who had a terrifying aura presently surrounding him.

The Golem was unable to track Austin's speed before the latter appeared near the machine's leg and slashed his blade using strength rather than precision.

**SLING**

The slinging sound again resonated as the cursed sword made a deep cut in the Golem's left leg but to no avail. The Golem had high adaptability which caused the curse energy to affect it less with each strike.

The Golem just lifted its left leg with extreme force while lifting the human who was standing near along with it. But Austin didn't plan to be kicked so easily.

Using his skill [Indefinite Leap] Austin made some distance from the giant as he stabilized his mind for a moment.

His physical might may be tremendous but the Golem was even stronger than Austin when it comes to physical prowess. Using mana was also influencing Austin severely to the point where he felt slightly dizzy.

His only option was Spiritual Magic but other than Elements, he couldn't ask for Time and Space spirits since they are egotistical beings.

'Well, screw it! '

Austin bit his lips before conjuring three boulders over the approaching Golem. The rocks were heavy enough to destroy the fort of Eden Academy.

Just as the gigantic machine reached some meters apart from him, Austin brought the boulders down in an instant and stomped the Golem underneath the rocks.

**UGOOOOOH**

The Golem cried in agony as the boulders were heavy enough to make it fall to the ground. The rumbling of the floor was caused by the crash along with the heavy roar.

"XXXXX–XXXXX-XX"

Austin gathered the fire spirits again around himself before he levitate in mid-air. It wouldn't have taken much time for the Golem to break free, so Austin hurried and formed three votives surrounding the captive.

"XX-XXX"

A single command and the portals started pouring blaze on the Golem like hell has been bestowed upon upper lands. Any top-ranking warrior would have burnt to cinder under such a raging blaze that Austin brought down at one place.

The scene from afar was magnificent at the same time terrifying enough to make Cordelia and Kyouki gulp in a fret as they gazed upon the battleground.

The fire vortices lasted for half a minute before they disappeared as per Austin's command.

After the smoke subdued what came into vision was molten rocks sticking to the Golem like amber slimes. Austin expected such results as he soon called for Wind Spirits.

"XXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXX"

The long command just focused om bringing storms over the temporarily paralyzed Golem. The gust was solely focused on n siding the molten rocks and so it went as expected.

**SWOOOOOOSH**

The storms of wind were heavy enough to make the surrounding people waver from their spot while the Golem tried to break free. However, the tribulation occurred fast enough for the Golem to even counter adequately.

The Wizard was enjoying the display of such continuous use of Spiritual energy and how Austin was guiding the spirits in the best way possible for his advantage.

Austin didn't give another glance at what he did as he brought the same hammer out of his inventory which he used to breakthrough the floors.

The Golem was caged but not for long. Austin's energy was depleting at a warning rate. The next strike would decide whether he could handle such catastrophic creation in his current strength or not.

'Never thought I would reach my limit so soon… '
