Chapter 13: The Deal

“There are people here, so let’s move to another place.”

She said this with a matter-of-fact tone of voice, and Lady Clarissa quickly turned herself around.

“Ignore all of our circumstances. ……?” I was puzzled, but I had no choice but to follow after her.

If I didn’t like it, I could just ignore the situation, but Lady Clarissa’s spirit got the better of me.

I go around to the back of the mansion while being perplexed, thinking, “This isn’t like lady Clarissa.”

When I reached the deserted backyard, Lady Clarissa suddenly stopped.

Halfway through the conversation, Clarissa hastily turned back the way she came.

The moment she was about to pass by me,────, she stopped as if she remembered something.
