Jim sat up groggily and looked around. He wasn't in the desert of Turkey. Instead, was in a field on the edge of a forest. His back leaning against a tree. He looked down at his hands. He saw that his exoskeleton was still stuck to his body. The skeleton in question. Well, it boosted his overall strength and speed by 25%. This was the standard issue gear that everyone had. It had taser in the left and right wrist. And had places to stick ammunition.

“Where am I?” He asked himself.

He looked at the tree he was propped, propped up against, and noticed that his leaves were blue. He didn’t question the fact that the leaves were blue. After all, he assumed he was in the other world.

“Now if I recall, there are blue leafed trees, yellow leafed trees and green leafed trees in this world.”

Death had said that to him. He wasn't too shocked to that of the world's had differently colored trees, but he was shocked that there were green trees. All things considered; he assumed an alien world wouldn't have any green leafed trees.

“Now, if I recall, he had teleported me right outside the city of Halce.”

The city of Halce was where Red was staying. He checked his body. He had multiple sticks of ammunition within magazines. He remembered that he had his great grandfather's bayonet as well as his gamma rifle, but he also had his great grandfather's 1911 on him. That is one thing he had nearly forgotten about. He left it in the troop transport by accident and had gone into battle without it. If he had taken it with him, he probably wouldn't have died.

“No matter," he said to himself.

He was in a different world now and it was with him right now. It had a lot of sentimental value to him. He then looked around to see what else there was. He had his gamma rifle, his bayonet, his 1911, his exosuit, his beard and his hair. He had nearly gone bald during basic training simply from stress. After they'd gone to war with Turkey, they had actually upped the ante on boot camp, making sure people are much more elite than they were beforehand. This was because many people had learned during the war with the legion of many.

Of course, that was all in the past now. He wasn't even on Earth anymore. He was on Halve. That was the name of the planet that he was standing on. A world where they weren't just humans. A world where there was magic. Going down that train of thought, it reminded him of all the different traits death had given him. He noticed he could see heat. He also felt significantly stronger than when he was on Earth. He felt like he could run forever. He also grabbed his gamma rifle and fired it into the ground. He held down the trigger for as long as he could. A gamma rifle could normally only fire for two seconds, but this time it was able to fire for five seconds before overheating. And the battery pack said there was still 100% charge left. Jim smiled to himself.

“Finally, I can now cook Turkey.”

Who looked around. Trying to see if there was anyone around that would laugh at his joke. There was no one. There usually was no one who would laugh at his jokes. Whenever Jim came into a new group or a new battalion, he would usually be the last one standing in every single battle. Yeah, they nickname the cursed soul.
