Jim looked around and saw a city line across the horizon. The city itself looked primitive, with stone walls only about 35 feet tall and a castle. What that looked like, it was in the center of the city. It looked incredibly generic. So generic he doubted his eyes. But as he began to walk towards the city, he thought to himself.

“Am I really in another world where there are blue leafed trees around here? But other than that I don't see anything fantastical.”

Then he noticed something in the uppers of the trees. A red haired woman with skin as Gray as a corpse. The women's eyes were red. He looked up at her and said, in the native language,

“who are you and how you doing today?”

She responded with.

“Are you Jim Virginia, sent by death himself?”

He looked at her, wide eyed. She was speaking English. He didn't expect her to speak English. Then again, she did pray to Earth's death. Every single different inhabited planet had a death. But each universe had a leader of death, and that leader was the death of Earth.

He looked at his speechless, still reeling from the fact that she was speaking English. He then quickly shook himself free of the shock and asked her.

“Are you Red?”

“Yes, indeed I am,” she responded.

“Why are you hiding up in a tree?” He asked.

“I was scouting you out,” she responded.

“Well then, come down here,” he said, “The ground is nice. I mean, it's the same as the ground from Earth. But then again, you might be toxic. You know what? Never mind. I'm gonna shut up and please stand on the ground.”

“Do not be shocked by my appearance, for I am undead.”

“not the most shocking thing on the face of the planet,” he responded with calmly. Not many things phased Jim. Mainly because he had seen so much death in his life, he'd grown accustomed to shock. Nowadays, whenever he was in combat, his brain leapt into it. Completely going on Autopilot, stabbing, and shooting people as he wished.

“Well then I'm jumping down,” she said.

When she jumped down, she jumped down such grace that he was left speechless. The height at which she had fallen from would have broken most men's legs. And when she rose up from her jump the face she lifted was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. It was perfect in all symmetrical fashion. (I know that description doesn't make much sense in this context, but believe you me, I am falling apart in my brain.) Like Jim had seen earlier, she had sparkling scarlet hair and blood red. Guys. But her skin was as cold and clammy as a corpse would have. But surprisingly, she didn't look thin. Or frail. Now she was aware and was perfect for night time excursions. A semi loose fitting cloak. All colored black. It had a hood, but it was lowered.

“Well, I gonna stand gawking there,” bye she said.
