Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Burdens

The stranger was having a coffee outside a cafe, after eliminating the problem that was Naomi. He was gazing at the people following their everyday routine.

The stranger wanted their lives to be interesting but sadly he was not powerful enough to help all.

A man entered the cafe in a hurry, in his hands there was a large sashimi knife, he spied on everyone and chose the stranger as the perfect hostage because he was a pretty boy with bony arms, and twig like legs.

It was the first time, someone had dared to lay a hand on the stranger.

'If you keep quiet and still you would get out of this alive.'

'There are 14 officers chasing after you. There is a sniper at the opposite building over there on your left, aiming for your head.'

'In 50 seconds he's gonna get the confirmation to shoot. You have little time in this world Wang Fu. Are you sure you wanna waste it by playing Hostage Negotiations with the Police.'

'How... how do you know my name?'

'There is no time for such mundane questions, do you wanna get out of this situation alive?'

'Yes... please help me but what are you gonna do?'

'You'll find out soon.'

The stranger snapped his fingers, and the reality was torn apart, along with Wang Fu the stranger disappeared from the cafe.

When Wang Fu opened his eyes, he found himself on an island surrounded by the ocean from all sides, he was quite shocked by the powers of the strangers.

'Where are we?'

'At a safe place. Don't worry about it, Wang Fu, those coppers can't harm you here.'

'Don't think about anything, just enjoy you are with me now Wang Fu, everything would work out fine for you, I promise you that.'

Wang Fu sighed in relief. For the first time he gazed at the stranger, and he found he looked a lot like his classmate Xu Yang who was handsome as well as an ace student.

'I'm not homo Wang Fu, don't stare me like that, I won't fall in love with you.'

'Who you are calling a homo? I'm a straight male, from Beijing to Nanjing I've spilled over my trail of seed in every willing pussy.'

'We are not here to chat about your sexual inclination Wang Fu, we're here to talk about your life and how are you gonna escape your fate.'

'You can save me right?'

'I can't be with you all the time.'

'You need to get out of this country as soon as you can.'

'But I haven't got the money to fly or bribe the border guards. You can help me little brother, you could teleport me to Thailand.'

'I can't do that I can only make small jumps, I'm restricted by a lot of things in this plane, how about we get rid of the problem?'

'You can do that, but she and her mother both are in a secret mental institution.'

'Just tell me everything, don't skip over the juicy parts, if you tell me everything,  I can help you with anything.'

Wang Fu wiped the sweat from his forehead, and he sat down on the ground and reminisced about his miserable life.

'From birth I was quite average, I had an average childhood, I went to an average school, I never thought about going to university because it would be a waste of money, I used the university money to start a hot-pot restaurant. The business was not exactly popular but I was able to make the ends meet with a chef's profession.'

'Now I was ageing rapidly, my father and mother wanted grandkids so badly they paired me up with a mentally ill woman, and married me off like I was neighbor's goose.'

'The woman was truly sick. Here I was kissing for the first time, and she was playing with her toys. The first time I entered her she gave me this scar on my left cheek.'

'Just like an animal she tried to get away from me, I had to pin her down after a lot of effort up and down, she was quiet and I was able to procreate for the sake of creating a baby.'

'That night she cried from dusk till dawn, I didn't get a single wink of sleep, I wanted to beat her up, but I am a pacifist, I seldom hurt people, today was the first time I threatened another person's life.'

'As the nights passed on, she accepted her situation in a weird way she would just open her legs and let me do my job.'

'I had to help her like a mother, I washed her clothes, I cooked for her, I took care of her during her periods, I had too play games with her. People might say she's the victim but I was the victim of the situation. Technically I was her slave.'

'What a bunch of rotten parents, because of them I was stuck in a living hell for years and years. Until they finally died one morning while playing Mahjong.'

'I pissed on their ashes fella, and I flushed them down the toilet, they probably met each other in the ocean floating with shit.'

'Now I was free, I proclaimed that to the sky, but for some reason the daughter of that sicko in time became a mentally ill child, the local foundations and those mean young ladies came over to my house, and they practically threatened me to raise those two burdens.'

'Now I was responsible for two Oscar class Idiots, without my parents everything was too hard, soon my business ripped and my jacket was literally gripped by the rough hands of poverty.'

'She had grown up to be a beautiful and fertile child. Even though she was the village idiot, she was in quite a high demand, I married her off to a migrant worker, he paid for her a great bride price, he used her once but dropped her back at my home, saying he was going to find work in Shanghai.'

'I thought he was pulling off a milkrun, so I married her again to a handsome fella, who did something on those SNS sites.'

'But because of my dog crap luck, soon my trick was found out, because my daughter's first husband was the loyal subscriber of my daughter's second husband.'

'I ran away with all the money, they declared me a fugitive and the rest is history. I'm just a man who was ruined by time and certain inescapable circumstances.'

'Wang Fu after listening to your story. I think you are the most unluckiest person in the world. I think you are the one who deserves a happy ending.'

'Really I'm going to have a happy ending.'

'If psychopaths like Joseph can have a happy ending, then why can't you have a fairytale ending.'

'Wang Fu just say the word, I will help you solve all of your troubles.'

'Please help me Stranger.'

'Ok I'm going to help you, Wang Fu but its going to take a little time, you can stay here until I deem the situation safe.'

'I would do that but what if I get hungry.'

'There's a sea of food out here, just follow your ancestors example and hunt them down one by one.

After saying that the stranger disappeared, while Wang Fu could only gaze at the sky thinking.

"I'm really bad at fishing.'

The stranger was able to locate the mentally ill, mother and daughter pair, they were at a special facility being cared for by a bunch of voulantry helpers and professionals.

Both of them gazed at the stranger, the daughter's reaction was normal while the mother face described her horror, like a panicked chicken she jumped out of her bed ready to escape from the hands of the slaughterer. 

The mentally ill mother gouged her eyes out, and she jumped from the fourth floor window while screaming hysterically.

The stranger immediately grabbed the girl and vanished from the secret facility.

'Don't be alarmed. I won't do anything to harm you Kitten, here's a parting gift from uncle, accept it and be happy.

The stranger tapped four times on the forehead of the little girl and she screamed in agony, her head felt like it would burst open.

'Dumb girl your story was not at all appealing, I've healed your mental sickness, you would remember all your memories, What path will you take? Will you seek revenge or will you live for love and happiness. I don't know but I hope you choose an interesting path for the sake of your happy ending.'

The stranger accompanied Wang Fu to the port. After arranging a way out for Wang Fu, the stranger vanished into thin air.

The waves of the ocean reignited the doused flame of hope inside the heart of Wang Fu he started to thinking about happy Endings too.
