Chapter 2: Chapter 2 – Stuck like Glue

Naomi and Peter were happily married for a year, but six months more with each other their love expired like rotten milk.

Being a strong independent woman Naomi had a job at a law firm, while Peter was an entrepreneur who was down on his luck because of the recession.

Five years passed by and between those years Naomi gave birth to a kid, Joshua who was the apple of the eyes of his grandparents.

'You gotta keep on trying, honey I'm sure one day you would be able to change the situation.'

'Naomi since the day I married you. My whole life has been turned upside down.'

'It's like you have sucked out my luck away from me like a psychic vampire.'

'How could you say that to your wife?'

'I live in a free country. You daddy doesn't own me bitch.'

'You are being such a dick. Peter what you are is a loser. Who can never live in the reality.'

'What did you say I was?'

'L-O-S-E-R. You are a real loser'

Right after those words, Peter lunged at Naomi he slapped her hard, in response Naomi kicked him in the nads, Peter pulled her down and they fought like savages on the floor.

For some inexplicable reason their fight led to sex and they made love like our human ancestors from Africa. Right after the intercourse Peter said,

'Now see hard work indeed paid off, you sucked in my dick real good, and squeezed out all of my juice.'

'Fuck you Peter'

'Well I fucked you and it sure felt good.'

Now the kid was used to his parents ridiculous behaviour, he would just close his room and play the music too loud to drown out his parents moaning sounds.

The stranger was in the city, and he found such a good family while shopping at the dollar store.

Joshua was the stranger's way of being introduced into the good books of the family. The stranger found Joshua being picked on by the bullies.

The stranger dispatched them like a karate kid with fancy moves and stuff. The bullies ran away after being humiliated by the stranger.

'Are you alright little fella?'

'I'm fine. Thanks for the help. But its not like I really needed your help.'

'Well you were getting socked pretty bad.'

'I got some moves of my own. I was just waiting for the right moment.'

'Yeah but that moment would never come. Because you were fighting a losing battle.'

'Kid... where are your parents?'

'They are here and there somewhere.'

'You need a ride back home.'

'No I can wait for my parents.'

'Do that but tell me about this address first.'

'Its right over there, next to the bookstore.'

The stranger walked away and the boy gazed at his mysterious figure and he spat on the ground for some reason.

The next night while Peter and Naomi were busy with their routine of fighting with each other. Someone knocked on their door.

It was the stranger who had brought a housewarming gift for the family as he was their new neighbor.

'What do you want?'

'As you can see I'm new to this town, and I wanted to make some new friends. I thought it would be good idea to start close from home.'

'Well we don't need friends.'

'Everyone needs friends in this world Peter.' The stranger leaned on closer to Peter and whispered something into his ears.

Peter became amiable right after hearing those words and he welcomed the stranger like a long lost brother.

The stranger and the family broke bed with each other and they discussed everything about life and its various mysterious throughout the night.

Joshua told his parents about their meeting. And in Naomi's eyes the stranger became a good guy.

While Naomi was busy telling Joshua a bedtime story, Peter and the stranger went out for drinks.

At the bar finally Peter asked the million dollar question.

'How did you know I was sleeping with Brittany.'

'I know a lot of things about everyone Mr. Peter, I know you married your wife for her fortune but that bitch never invested a cent in your endeavors.'

'Oh my god you know everything.'

'I know what you did to Katy at that bath house, the way you slipped it in while she was sleeping, you enjoyed it didn't you Peter?'

'Yeah I guess but she totally had it coming. I wasted hundreds of dollars to get that hot piece of ass to drop her pants. But at the last moment she went Catholic on my ass and what I was supposed to do but get what I deserved.'

'I'm not here to judge you Peter, I'm only here to help. You deserve a happy ending Peter you deserve all the good things in the world.'

'But I'm stuck to that women by the hip. I might act like I'm in charge but they've got eyes on me, from all sides.'

'You just need to ask for my help Peter. I'm better than your best friend. Think of me as your guardian angel.'

'But why would you wanna help me?'

'I just like to make things interesting. Your life is boring Peter, the big man up there wants you to live a happy life, and with that bitch and that kid around, it is just not possible.'

'So what's your plan.'

'Don't think about getting her inheritance, she has legally given it all to that short fella, Joshua.'

'I'm fucked for life, forget about the investment money, how am I gonna pay all those gambling debts?'

'She has a life insurance policy, and strangely enough you are one of the beneficiaries.'

'But how can we kill her and get away with it.'

'There's no we in this deal, only I can rid of her existence and dispose her body without arousing the interest of the authorities.'

'And just exactly how are you gonna do that?'

'Go on a family trip to the nearest lake, paddle a boat into the sea and I am gonna take care of everything.'

'I'm depending on you man, don't pull a Lannister move on me brother. Betrayals are too cliche in this day and age.'

'I only care about your happiness Peter. If you are happy my clients would be more than happy.'

Peter was able to convince his wife for a family outing. During the duration of the trip Peter was on his best behaviour, he behaved like a good scout.

Soon it was time for him to paddle the boat into the lake, while his mother and father were having a conversation, Joshua spied on a mysterious figure rising out of the lake. The secret bodyguard hiding in the bushes was flabbergasted, when he saw a giant fish rising out of the lake.

It took one large bite and swallowed Naomi like a sandwich, Peter fell from the boat and Joshua fainted on the safe part of the boat.

The giant fish went away into the depths of the sea never to be seen again. The bodyguard had recorded everything on camera, so there was no denying the fact that a giant fish had swallowed Naomi.

After an empty grave funeral, Peter faked being lovesick for three months like George, and he behaved appropriately like a widower. 

Soon he got his prize the insurance money and he was back on the track of happiness with his mistress.

Joshua's maternal grandparents took over his custody and he soon forgot about his mother because his maternal grandparents showered him with love and all such things which make a kid happy.

The stranger never killed Naomi because it would be boring to end her life story without a hidden twist.

After travelling for hundreds of thousand of miles, the stranger came across a native settlement where he dropped off the amnesiac Naomi.

The natives treated Naomi like a goddess bestowed upon them by heavens.

Naomi was treated like a queen for the rest of her entire mortal life, and she too had a happy ending.

The only one who got a bad ending was that bodyguard, he was forced by his superiors to scour the seas for even the slightest trace of Naomi.
