Chapter 2: Ignition: Hero’s Blessing

Ever since that day. I've never exactly been exactly the same. That event forever shifted me into what I am now. Be it for better or worse, this is my new fate, my destiny.

I continued to watch in suspense from the sidelines as the woman had been shot down in an act of cold blood.

"Yua. If it's scary then there is no need to look."

My sister said as she tucked me closer but all I wanted to do was look. I couldn't help it and my eyes couldn't help but feel almost hooked on the situation at hand. It enticed me and brought the passions out of my soul, unraveling my true character. 

"So! Are there any other retards who seek to lay down their lives just like that kind of woman from earlier! Originally I wanted to make a sacrifice from any of you guys! But thankfully, she was a kind enough woman to volunteer herself to our cause! Our cause of divine retri-"

"Allen. That is enough."

A man with a black feather suit said as he walked into the McDonald's. He was nearly twice my height and brought himself into the establishment with dominating steps that emanated his superiority over us. His wide steps were like that of an authentic ape but he carried himself with a dignified aura befitting of royalty.

"O-of course, master! What should I do for our divine cause?"

"Anything would suffice however it would be best to keep you here as I make a call to the Line."

"The Line?"

I muttered under my breath and soft enough so that nobody could hear my comment.

"Line... I wonder what they are talking about. Phone line? No. That isn't something that these guys would talk about it."

"The Line..."

The servant paused for a moment as a grim expression came over his thick face.

"Of course! We should always ensure good relations with them!"

"No. That's not what I mean... What I am proposing is war with The Line."

"War with The Line!? That's insanity, master! Everything that we have worked for would be completely for naught if we were to go to war with The Line!"

The servant's voice broke out into pure rage. However, his anger would quickly subside as his master would bring his hand up towards him before lowering it as his anger vanished.

"That may be true. However, this power I have managed to obtain is truly something else. It's a power that would make the world itself shatter!"

"If that's the case then why haven't you revealed until now."

"Jessica! I didn't expect you would be here."

A woman wearing a black suit said as she jumped down from the second floor of the McDonalds.

"That's to be expected of course."

She commented as she began to smile a little.

"I believe you have neutralized all the officers."

"Yes."

She said as she began to smile before stepping on the hand of a young man.

His phone broke under her foot and she began to smile before laughing.

"Did you really think I would be stupid enough to let you make that call?"

She said as she kicked him into the wall and walked towards him.

"You demon! Don't go near me."

"But then again..."

She held him by his neck.

"Would a few more cops really matter when I killed them all?"

Blood splattered against the wall.

A soft gasp left my mouth as the world was wholly silent.

"Aren't you cute? You little thing."

The woman said as she glanced towards me.

"Don't touch her! She's my sister!"

"Uck."

Her face turned into one of instant disgust.

"Now you're making me sound like a villain. A pedophile to be exact."

"Pedo file? What's that?"

"Something that a cutie like you shouldn't need to know about."

"Jessica, are you really sure you want to play around with the kids? You know you can fight me if you ever got bored! Come on! Come on! Come fight me!"

"Is this Line?"

The world paused as he said that very line.

"Line Agent 012 - Bernais is on the line. May I inquire into what this call is about?"

"Good. Tell your leader, that I am going to war with you."

A smashing of the desk was heard from the phone.

"Who the hell do you think you are demanding the time of our Executive!?"

"Tell him I am #####."

"Wait... That name. HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE!?"

"Come and fight me. Then you will learn."

The phone call came to an end.

"Wait. Boss, why did we occupy a McDonald's again? You didn't really go over this in the plan."

The servant asked as he gave him a look of confusion.

"It's because this McDonald's is located in the center of Kyoto. It's a strategic location for my plans."

"And why are we announcing our plans in front of these plebs? Sure some of them are cute but is it really necessary to do it here."

The female commented.

"It is for the fact that they will be our new servants. So we ought to be fully transparent with them."

The two servants nodded.

A loud piercing noise erupted from the skies.

"This is LINE AIRSHIP 012! All insurgents will be wiped from the battlefield and shown no mercy!"
The fiery voice of a female rang out from the skies.
"Looks like she is here..."
'What the hell is even happening...'

I wondered as the world began to burn all around me.

"Get these servants of ours into the tunnels. For we will have a fight."

The two servants nodded.

"Alright, everyone! Please stand up and form a straight line! Me and Jessica will escort you guys out of here!"
