Chapter 4: Chapter 3 Luck strikes Twice

When Lei Shun entered the old ruin, he was met by a System window that asked, "Do you desire to enter?" and gave him two choices. Either yes or no. "I guess I have no other choice," Lei Shun said calmly as he glanced at the screen. He pressed Yes, and a teleportation array formed in front of him. A new system message came on the display, "Please enter." he confidently moved ahead and stepped on the array, and he was transferred someplace else in an instant.

When he appeared, he was in the middle of a forest, and he was walking and looking around when he came across some footsteps that did not appear to belong to any creature he knew, judging by the size, how deep, how many, and how recent the footsteps were made, he knew they were short, light in weight, only two, and very close.

He was unsure whether to continue or turn back, so he picked up a medium-sized stone that he could hold in his right hand to use as a weapon and followed the footsteps to their location, where he saw a badly wounded green creature that looked like a goblin slowly bleeding on the ground trying to stop the bleeding and he also saw his friend near him dead, they appeared to be fighting for something, and Lei Shun was observing all of this from behind some bushes.

He carefully came behind the goblin, disguising his movement as he moved behind the bushes, striking the goblin in the head with a swift and forceful attack. Before the goblin could turn his head, Lei Shun struck him with a stone in his hand. His hands were soaked in blood, and he had a serene expression on his face as he looked at the bodies, who were wearing animal hide wrapped around their waists and weapons made of sharp wooden spears, he then glanced at the thing they were fighting over, which was an iron knife.

Lei Shun was overjoyed that he finally had a weapon, so he approached the dagger, picked it up, and swung it from left to right while filling the weight to become acquainted. He then checked the goblin bodies for any valuable items, but he found nothing useful besides his dagger.

Lei Shun kept going until he came upon a dead human skeleton corpse. "It appears today must be my fortunate day," he thought to himself as he approached the body. "Judging by the attire, the skeleton corpse should have been a male adventurer, maybe an assassin type." Lei Shun thought to himself as he searched the body finding two books, one of which was a training book called Beast Tamer and the other a specialty book called Assassin.

"The training book Beast tamer appears to give me the ability to understand the language of the creatures and tame beasts by placing an imprint on them, the other specialty book Assassin allows me to become a pure Assassin that lurks in the dark," Li Shun said excitedly. He quickly used the skills and felt a weird energy rush into himself, giving him the impression that he could destroy anything. That unusual energy soon vanished, and Lei Shun studied his system panel.

"What exactly is Restructure Realm?" with a puzzled expression, but one thing Lei Shun knew was that he had become stronger, he also glanced at his skills and was overjoyed, especially Mimic, which can duplicate anybody, and shadow walk, which allows you to mask your breath and bend into the shadows. He then removes the original owner's Assassin robe, which dangles below the knees, and includes a hood, as he equips it on himself.
