I looked down at Kilakarai, who was lying on the bed, and I could see the black energy swirling around her. It looked like she was in a deep sleep, but I knew better than to try and wake her up.
The Forging process was complete, but it would be some time before she woke up. She had fallen asleep right away when I changed her back, but she was different, and her swirling pattern was gone, and now the black and white divide was only slightly wavy.
It seemed like ever since Kilakarai had bitten me and taken some of my blood, she had been different. She was less aggressive and seemed to have only one personality now instead of multiple personalities.
I was glad that the Forging process was complete, but I was also a little apprehensive about what Kilakarai would be like when she woke up. Only time would tell, but for now, she was my faithful weapon as long as I let her drink my blood.
Fiona had brought me some more food and juice, and I was feeling better, but I had started to get lightheaded from all the blood Kilakarai had sucked out of me. I had to wonder if she was related to a vampire in some way, but that didn't seem likely.
One then that was bugging me was how I was going to move her around with me while I traveled. Having her as a weapon was kind of menacing and wouldn't help my image too well with humans. Not that I cared at this point, but it would make getting information a lot harder, but these were all tomorrow's problems, and it was time for bed.
I was a little apprehensive about sleeping with Kilakarai, but I felt like we made a really good connection tonight, even if it was weird. I crawled into bed and pulled a light sheet over us as the fire was still nice and hot. I cuddled up to her and soon fell fast asleep.
The morning came, and I roared out in pain before even opening my eyes.
"RAH! Dammit, woman! Wake me up before you try to eat me!" I roared, and Kilakarai licked my arm clean, which was already healed, and turned to kiss me.
"Sorry, I feel better now. I was a bit swirly before, but now I am wavy and feel much better! I just need a bit of you to keep me wavy, or I will get all swirly again like before!" Kilakarai said and cuddled her naked body to kiss me some more, making it hard to stay mad at her. I was just going to have to get stronger to use her properly.
I tried to start the chainsaw, but I had to drop it because it was taking too much blood to get it going. Then there was the shield that tore my body hair, thankfully below my neck. Poor Fiona was not happy, though, because she hit the shield by throwing a candle stick and lost a few chunks of hair. She said she could grow them back, but she left the room looking pissed.
"What are we doing today?!" Kilakarai asked after we stopped kissing, and I smiled.
"Going to the library to look up a few things, and then I am going to head into town to see if there are any monster bounties up," I said, and then nearly jumped out of my skin.
"Don't worry! I already went down there and got them!" Fiona declared in a triumphant voice that scared the shit out of me almost literally.
"What the hell is wrong with you?! How long have you been sitting there?!" I demanded as I rolled over, and Kilakarai followed me to lay on my chest, only to bite me again, making me groan. This was only a small one, and it didn't draw that much blood, and she kissed me gently, after, before lying on her cheek to look up at me with a cute smile, distracting me from Fiona.
"I have been hard at work for my King and Master! I have been waiting for you to awake as a servant should do and waited till you were awake to reveal myself! Even though I was not hiding!" Fiona declared, and I rolled my eyes with a smile. Life just kept getting weirder, but it was my crazy life.
"Alright, what did you find out?" I asked, and Fiona nodded.

"Keeping in mind of Sasha, I will send you out to deal with a Sand Demon with Melty again. I am sure you will find many other things to kill there, so be careful. Your idea to stop in the library first is a good one; that way, you can learn more about your possible opponents and the one you know will be there," Fiona explained, but Kilakarai looked up at Fiona.
"What about me?!"
"You can go to the library with him, but then you have the dungeons to clean, and there is no getting out of it, or I will get the Queen!" Fiona snapped, pointing her finger at Kilakarai, who acted like it was a whip she was cracking.
"Fine!" Kilakarai pouted, but I turned her face to mine.
"I will be back in the evening, and I will feed you before I go. I need to go get stronger if I want to be able to use you as a weapon. You just require too much of my blood right now, and I am going to have to train more. Please give me some time," I asked while petting her cheek, making her close her eyes and purr.
"What else did you find?" I asked as Kilakarai kissed my chest and turned to look at Fiona putting her cheek on my chest.
"There are quite a few, so there will be no shortage of work if you want it, but just remember that you are a King, and you don't have to work every day, right?" Fiona asked, but I shrugged. I thought about this last night while watching Kilakarai. Humans hated us, and that meant there was no one out there for girls like her, and the monsters weren't going to kill themselves.
"Until we have no debt and own this castle, I am going to work non-stop to get that. Lachlan may not be a bad guy, but I refuse to be under his foot, and people need my help. I am sure that I will quiet this area down pretty fast if I keep going, and then I can slow down a bit, but we need to get to a place where we don't have to worry about someone kicking us out, so I can keep everyone safe. You said it last night. I am not doing things to make weapons; I am doing this to help them," I explained, and Fiona gave me a warm smile, and Kilakarai kissed my chest again.
"I like your resolve, my King. You are slowly changing, and it is a fascinating thing to watch for the first time. People like my Queen are nearly extinct, and there are only three left in all dimensions," Fiona said, and the three doors appeared in my mind, and the words about me picking the wrong one echoed in my mind.
"When I came to this world, I was given a choice of three, but I was told to pick the right one, or I would be in trouble basically," I said, and Fiona nodded.
"The other two sisters are not like Melodious. One is Belinda, and she is the puppet for a king that rules three worlds, and you also would have become a puppet. She is weak-minded and doesn't know her own worth, or she could rise up. The last is Anastasia, and she is a psychopath that lives alone in a harsh demon dimension and paints beautiful pictures painted with her foes, the other demons, using their blood. No one will go near her because her powers are so strong," Fiona explained, and I nodded.
"Scary, I can see why this was the winning choice, still if I can turn Melodious into a weapon," I started to say, but Fiona put her hand up to stop me.
"Hold your horses there, tiger. I know what you are thinking, and yes, you are right. Forging all three is the best option, but I don't think you really understand what Synergy Demons are. They don't become weapons, they become part of you when transformed, and you gain tremendous power. Like abilities that I could tell you about but you would never believe until you have seen them in action. If you get all three, scratch being the most powerful hunter, you would be the most powerful being! Now, there are more Dimensions than I would like to try to count. Think about what will happen when they find out that you exist and that you have one of three keys to making you unstoppable?" Fiona explained, ending in a question that made very clear and scary sense.
"Well, that is something, but if I don't take them, then at some point, someone else might, right? Can any Allgora do it? or am I the only one of my kind?" I asked.
"There are many more of you, but they were not born to this reality like you were, and for them to even dream of something like that, they would have to go through intense training. It would be much greater than what you will need, but you are right, and it is possible. There is also the matter of the massive empire that is using Belinda, but both are far out of your reach for now. you need to get stronger for Melodious first, and so when trouble does come knocking, and you know it will, you will be able to protect everyone, right?" Fiona asked, and I laughed and nodded. "Come on, and get dressed, and we can talk about the other monsters when you are in the place where you can look them up!"
