Trigger warning.

Gareth lowered his head and forcefully overlapped his lips on top of Elena’s. He pried open her lips with the tip of his tongue and ravaged the inside of her mouth while grabbing and spreading her thighs apart to destroy her pure body. He could feel Elena’s body stiffen as he entered her. She clung onto him and groaned into his mouth in pain.

Gareth was naturally taken aback by the sensation he felt as it was completely different from what he had experienced until now. He couldn’t quite put what he was feeling into words, but knew that he wanted more. The sensation he experienced heightened his desire, urging him to push deeper into the place he barely managed to get into. He wanted to be completely enveloped in her warmth.

Elena ended up closing her eyes. The tears which had stopped began to flow out again from the painful impact. She tightly held onto his neck as she tried to accept his body that was digging deeper into her. She didn’t know what to do but to desperately cling onto him.

Gareth held Elena’s body close as he showered aggressive kisses onto her lips. He then gathered all his strength and pushed himself all the way in. Gareth let out a groan of excitement at the woman’s body which was hotter and tighter than he had expected. “Ah! This is great,” he exclaimed. He began to move his hips, causing Elena’s pain to worsen.

Elena tried her best to endure the pain, but ended up crying. Gareth’s rough beard rubbed on her cheeks. His lips, which had aggressively attacked her own until they were swollen, smoothly made its way to her neck and down to her bre*sts. Gareth trapped her n*pple between his lips and sucked on it. As he did so, he exhaled roughly onto her skin.

Gareth still wasn’t satisfied. Frustrated that he had not been able to savor her narrow passage to his heart’s content, he raised his upper body and firmly grasped Elena’s hips with both hands as he spread her thighs further apart. His forceful actions caused him to go even deeper inside her. Immense pleasure was now eating into him.

Gareth’s violent motions caused Elena’s back to constantly rub against the blanket. ‘I am his wife. I’m not a tool to be excreted on, but his wife who will bear his successor,’ she reminded herself. Elena was about to faint from the pain, but gathered herself and reached out to grab Gareth’s arms once again. ‘I am your wife. Your only wife,’ she repeated these words over and over inside her head even in the midst of fading consciousness. She recited them like a prayer as she listened to Gareth’s harsh groans and felt his grasping hands and movements that tortured her. Her vision soon faded to black.

Elena woke up, startled. It seemed that she had fainted without realizing it and had woken up from the sensation of cold water on her body. Looking around, Elena saw that Gareth was wiping his traces off her body, using his shirt as a towel by wetting it in the water. Taking a deep breath in, she recalled what had happened. Her body trembled from the cold, but Gareth continued to clean her with his shirt and wiped his body as well to erase the traces of blood, the symbol of purity.

Even though Gareth was still recovering from the shock of the new experience he just went through, he couldn’t leave her here after she had fainted. “Let’s go,” he said after he finished cleaning himself.

Elena had been lying on the ground, watching as Gareth washed his shirt, squeezed the water out, and put it back on. She tried her best to lift her limp body, but the action caused a terrible pain to shoot through her, almost making her faint again. Meanwhile, Gareth put on his trousers and placed his sword at his waist. While he did so, Elena made every effort to get up, but couldn’t. Seeing her struggle, Gareth crouched down and grabbed Elena by the arms to help her up. He could feel her breathing become labored as her tearful sigh touched his shirt. When he let go of her arms, she collapsed onto the ground again.

“Why don’t you go back first?” Elena mumbled quietly as she reached for her dress to cover herself. She couldn’t stand, but could tell that Gareth didn’t have an ounce of sympathy for her. He had done whatever he wanted with her and was now wearing a calm expression as if this was completely natural. Elena gritted her teeth as she held back her tears, struggling to put on her dress.

Gareth listened to her words, which were still filled with pride, and hesitated for a moment. Then he sat back down next to her and began to help her put on her dress, deciding it was too dangerous for her to be left alone in the mountains. He only began to feel uncomfortable once he realized that Elena’s body was still trembling from a while ago. Pushing aside Elena’s trembling fingers, which had become useless in tying the strings at the front of her dress, Gareth finished the job for her instead. He then spit out quietly, “Don’t expect anything from me, Elena. This is who I am.”

Elena looked at him with shaking eyes. The man had an expressionless face with pitch black eyes that did not have the slightest hint of light in them. With his cold words, he had drawn a line between them this early in the relationship. Elena tried her best not to cry and asked, “Did I have the value you wanted?”

Gareth lifted Elena up into his arms and replied bluntly, “More than enough.”

The next morning, Gareth rode his horse with Elena seated in front of him. She was half asleep and could hardly keep her eyes open. Even with a blanket wrapped around her, Elena was still trembling from the cold while he and his men prepared to leave at dawn. She had been staying as close as possible to Gareth.

Gareth, on the other hand, had tried to avoid her as he deeply abhorred being near someone, but she had persistently made her way beside him. She was now very close to him with her head almost buried in his chest. Irritated, Gareth tried to push her away, but Elena started to mumble. It sounded as if she was talking in her sleep.

“I’m scared. I’m scared,” she whimpered.

Gareth ended up leaving her be. Even if he pushed her away, he knew she would just come back. However, what led him to this decision was her desperate behavior. It seemed that Elena was unconsciously looking for something to rely on. Watching Elena, Gareth was reminded of his past when he had reached out his hands for survival in despair. After he realized this, he couldn’t push her away anymore.

‘As long as she doesn’t bother me…’ When he left her alone, Elena ended up falling asleep with her head buried in his chest. Her body didn’t wriggle or move in the slightest. Her even breaths brought a strange shaking sensation to Gareth’s wet shirt.
