“Where is the future Dwarf king?” Enzo asked.

“Hephaestus? He parted ways with us for a bit because he has to go complete his bloodline quest.” Ivan responded.

“Ah, okay. I completely forgot he had to do his own thing as well.”

Enzo then turned back to Vincent, “Would you like to be added to a group chat through messages IRL when we log off?”
“What for?” He responded.

“Just so we can update each other on things and help each other out if need be while not in the game. We were lucky enough to all get different clan’s bloodlines so I think we should stick together as much as possible and help each other.”
Vincent smiled, “Of course, I’d love that.”
“Good.”
“Speaking of chasing bloodlines, we should probably start as soon as possible.” Juliet urged.

“Agreed, have you two gone anywhere other than here Vincent and Ivan?” Enzo said.

“No, we have just been playing games to pass the time as we waited for you two.” Ivan responded.

“Ah, okay. Well let’s see if there is a town nearby or something.”
“How?” Vincent asked.

“Our maps of course.” Enzo said.
“Ah, I didn’t think of that.” He slapped his forehead with the palm of his hand.

Enzo pulled up the map and started looking for anything that would indicate a town or city.

It only took a few seconds because every town or city in the vicinity was marked on their maps with a blue dot.

Enzo located the white dot which indicated his place on the map, and found the closest place to them.

“Found one. There is a place just a few miles from here.” He told the group.

~

It took less than 30 minutes to make it to the blue dot Enzo marked.

In front of them was a very small town. It was an odd site to see after coming from a village that was as big as a city.
The town looked like an old Western American town from the past. All of the buildings were made of wood, they were one story tall, and there was dirt everywhere. The wooden buildings looked very old, but at the same time clean.

Of course, there were also plenty of people walking around the village as well. All of the inhabitants were Fae.

Enzo didn’t really expect to encounter any other races at this point in the game because he assumed the bloodlines that players would one day unlock are the only non-hostile races other than Fae in the game.

So, depending on how long it takes for the first player to complete their bloodline quest, it could be a while before he sees anything other than Fae and monsters.

“Let’s check out that place.” Enzo suggested.

He pointed to a building that looked identical to an old western saloon. It lacked normal doors and instead had two small doors that didn’t touch the ground or the ceiling that could be pushed open. The doors allowed the customers to see in and out of the saloon easily. There was also a sign that said “Jimmy’s Bar” in front of the store.

The group walked into the building and sat side by side at the bar. The bar itself was relatively empty but most of the tables in the building were taken, so the chatter in the building was loud.

The bartender was a short but plump lady with blond hair and brown eyes. She had a small nose and small lips with a beauty mark above them. She wasn’t ugly, but it would be hard to call her good looking either.

“What can I do for you four?” She asked politely while wiping down a part of her bar with a rag.

“Could we get some beer?” Enzo asked.

The reason he led the group to the bar was to gather some information, but it would be impolite to not get anything while they were there.

“Sure hun, that’ll be 20 bronze coins for the four of you.”

Enzo took out the coins from his inventory.

The bartender then poured them a mug of beer each and handed it to them before returning to wiping down her area of the bar.

‘Not bad, it taste more like wine than beer.’

Enzo fully expected the beer to taste horrible, but it was actually really good. It reminded him more of a fruity wine than a beer.

“Will that be all for you guys?” The bartender asked.

Enzo then got into his real purpose in coming here, “We actually have some questions for you.”

“Since you bought drinks I’ll answer a few, but if you ask too many you’ll have to pay.”

Enzo nodded in agreement.

“First, where are we? And where is the nearest city?”

“You are currently in the north of the Kular Kingdom in a small nameless village. The nearest city is the capital city 20 miles south of here called Stonewall.”

“Okay, thank you. Another question I have is do you know where the Lost Dragons Lair dungeon might be?”

“A dungeon? So you are players?” She asked.

“Yes.”

“Wow, cool!”

Enzo chuckled a little bit at the NPCs reaction.

She then continued, “To answer your question, I have no clue where the dungeon is, but you may be able to find something at the guild hall in Stonewall.”

“Okay, thank you. Could you point us to where Stonewall is on the map?”

The cities and villages may have been marked with blue dots, but they were unnamed on the player map. Enzo wanted to make sure the group wouldn’t go to the wrong place by accident.

“Sure huh, follow me.”

The bartender led them to a back room that had a large map on the wall.

The Vampire Chaser group analyzed the map for a few minutes to see where the different cities were located.

Enzo pulled up his own map to cross reference when he noticed something.
