Bay horth, a small town located in the east wing of the mountains, surrounded by the woods to the north and the sea to the south. It is an old settlement originally founded by the Olsen: a family who vanished into the thin air after the battle of foyth creek- a war that lasted for four years. Bay Horth became a historical place for tourists worldwide to explore, but seven families settled in Bay Horth after the war and soon became their residence for generations to come.

Years passed! And time rolled by!

Bay Horth, a lovely peaceful town, is becoming a thing of fright. Tourists began to die- and the people get bitten by some mystical creatures. Bay Horth has sheltered its worst nightmare- the supernatural! Unknown to the people, the deaths that kept increasing every night have been ruled as an animal attack, but only one family failed to believe that fact… The Chasseurs!

Abraham Chasseur knew this wasn’t a regular animal attack- the chasseurs are a descendant of the tueur de bêtes, which translates as the beast slayer from the old Gaul, present-day France. He had always trained his children in the old ways and had embraced his family legacy.

The chasseurs would be on a hunt every night in search of what was killing the people of Bay Horth until one night they saw an animal attack, some people whose car had broken down and were trying to fix it. At first, Abraham thought the people were right- as it was an animal attack, but to his utmost surprise, the animal suddenly transformed into a human. Immediately, Abraham confirmed the myth his father had always told him: Lycanthrope was real and one has found its way into Bay Horth.

Abraham called on the remaining six families and told them what he had encountered. They didn’t believe him, so he took laws into his own hands and decided to hunt one down- but one family believed him: the Ostroba, known for their secrecy and thought to harbor evil; they decided to help Abraham on his quest of keeping the town safe. Melanie Ostroba summons her distant cousin Elaine, a witch of the North and the most powerful witch in the whole of Scandinavia. Elaine decided to help Bay Horth get rid of its demon- but it came at a price. She asked for a place to stay- a place she could call home, where she and her clan will live forever. To Abraham, a witch was harmless- so he struck a deal with Elaine and gave her one of his properties on the south coast.

Elaine did the wonders and cast a rare spell on the moon; the mighty zxdruldria spell - the moon then absorbs every power of the Lycanthrope. The spell made them weak and formidable for the humans to conquer. They will only be at their full potential once every full moon- and after the night of the full moon, they become so weak again.

Twenty-five years later, the witches had become the ruler of the citadel. They grew so strong that they implemented laws in the town. Bay Horth had become a better place with the witches in power- the supernatural has stayed hidden and things had gone according to plan. Until nemesis befell Bay Horth once more, the founding families were back- Olsen's are in town. After eighty-five years of their sudden disappearance- nothing has changed about them except for what they had become. They still look the same as eighty-five years ago- their red hair is still an identity like a lion. They marched into the town they once lived and protected with all their strength but were not alone this time- they came in troops and multiplied in folds compared to when they vanquished.

The Olsen's was led by the devil himself, Kol Olsen- a retired general. His whole clan was destroyed during the war of the foyth creek in 1826. To save his people: he bargains with a witch who made him make a pat with the devil for his survival. He drank a bat's hexed blood, which killed him and turned him into a beast. Kol fed his remaining clan and the injured soldiers his blood- which healed their wounds. He then killed them all to make them a beast of the night. A beast that doesn't age; a beast with irresistible blood thirst; a beast that burns at the sight of the sun- they became a vampire.

For eight decades, he had been searching for a cure- A cure to make him walk under the sun; but no witch was powerful enough to make the cure except for one he heard rumors about: a witch powerful enough to make the Lycanthrope formidable for the humans and to his utmost surprise, she was in the town founded by his forefathers; so it became a homecoming for him. Kol had learned to respect the witches for he knew what they were capable of. Especially a Scandinavian witch- one of whom made him who he was.

So at the waxing moon, Elaine decided to channel the witches' powers to that of their ancestors: to give the ancestors life and call on them for directions. It was time for the witches to celebrate twenty-five years in Bay Horth. The witches want to strengthen their holds on Bay Horth because they knew it was only a matter of time before the supernaturals joined forces to conquer the town. So Elaine then cast a spell of unification to unite their old and powerful witches and seek their pearls of wisdom.

"You know it's funny as you seek advice from the dead, especially from people who couldn't do anything when they were alive"

The witches jerked at that familiar voice. They moved swiftly and formed a circle around Elaine. That was the voice of the only creature strong enough to bring down the witches. He hid behind a tomb, not ready to make any rash judgment. His eyes were glittering with gold, so he looked for any weakness to attack the witches. Kol knew the cemetery had become the witches' sacred ground; it was where they had buried the remains of the witches that had died before they move into Bay Horth and where they had buried witches afterward. He knew that place would be heavily spelled, every nook and cranky would have been bound as a precaution. His town has become a habitat for the witches- his family crest had been removed from the town center. It was like they had become a ghost in the town they had founded. Kol knew he had to take a step, which he just did. He knew the fates of his clans and whoever he had sire would lie on his actions. He had returned to Bay Horth with the hope of a cure but things have changed now; taking back their town has become his quest.

"Kol Olsen! Have heard rumors about you" Elaine said " A living dead with insatiable blood thirst. how dare you come to our ancestral ground!"

The young witches around Elaine kept murmuring some kind of spell harmoniously.

"Vazoo hsk to kiwva labasoro"

That word kept spreading in Kol's body like wide fire. He already knew the witches to be a tough opponent, they could get to you even before you make a move. The witches had leverage on every supernatural. The way they chant those spells move faster than the speed of light and that always gets every supernatural on their toes… he was already prepared for the worst, but now wasn't the right time for bloodshed. He was here for a deal with the witches, a deal that could cost the witches their hold on Bay Horth.

The twining spell kept burning through him. He could feel his kidney being twined. His golden eyes had become black, which meant trouble, but making a rash move could be deadly. He was outnumbered, and the witches were at their prime; So he had to tend slow.

"Elaine, tell your kittens to stand down," he screamed from the dark. "Ain't here for bloodshed, I come in peace"

"You? Peace? Wherever Kol Olsen goes, death follows"

"True! But not tonight. I only came for a deal"

Elaine smiled, knowing full well the only creature she had learned not to trust was a vampire. She had heard rumors about how cunny, selfish and devilish they were: she had learned to be careful when she was around one.

"A deal with a vampire is impossible. Not just a regular vampire, the father of vampires, the messenger of evil, the friend of the devil"

Kol nodded in agreement. At least her facts were right this  time

"That is me. You got the sire of vamps wrapped around your fingers"

"I'm sorry Kol. Have learned to flee at your presence so a deal with you is just impossible"

Impossible was not just the word Kol was ready to hear. He had planned this encounter for years and wasn't ready to stop until his demands were met. His plans to take over Bay Horth could only be possible if his vampires could walk in the sun.

"What if I tell you I have something that might be of interest to you"

Elaine wonders what it could be- she hasn't met Kol before, but she has heard a lot of a great deal about what he had done; tormenting the neighboring towns. She knew he could not be trusted, which remains a fact, but what he said he'd that might interest her made her curious.

“You must have heard about how I hunt down witches and capture them. I’m willing to give you the book that aids my hunt,” Kol said, with a feint smile.

"You have a Malleus Maleficarum?" Elaine said, with her eyes wide open. The Malleus Maleficarum wasn't just a regular book. It was written by a witch who decided to betray her clan because of her love for a human. She documented several ways on how to kill and hunt down a witch as an act of revenge; when the witches discovered what she had done, they decided to destroy the book but unknown to the witches, a copy of the book was sent to the Orde Clan; a human race who believed in the abolishment of witchcraft. Elaine couldn't believe such a powerful book was in the possession of a vampire.

"-Not just that, I also have the Grimoire of all the witches I have killed"  Kol gave an irritating chuckle.

Elaine's eyes brightened. The witches had begun to lose focus. Kol knew he had been successful in getting to them, so he moved closer to the coven. That was exactly what he needed if he wants to strike the witches, he needs to get them distracted but the good news was, he wasn't going to strike the witches... at least not tonight; not until he got what he was looking for.

"And you are just going to hand over the books to me," Elaine said with disbelief

"Sure! It was meant to be in a witch's possession, not a vampire" Kol retorted with a scoff

"And you just expect me to believe you"

"There is no crime in trying- and if you are having doubts, the vampires will also leave the town"

Elaine’s curiosity had gotten a hold of her. She wondered what was so important to Kol. His offers were so tempting but her instinct tells her she was walking into a trap.

“What do you need?” She said, after several thoughts.

One thing Kol had learned about the witches was breaking an oath on their sacred ground would result in an ancestral curse. So he had chosen his timing perfectly. He wasn’t ready to lag. His vampires should be moving freely in the sun instead of lurking in the dark, and his sons should be the prince of Bay Horth and his daughters’ princess of the citadel.

“I want vampires to walk in the sun,” Kol said, simply with less tenacity in his voice.

“You want me to make you a shield against the sun?” Elaine said with disgust

“Yea, guess my demands are so simple. So make me something and I will be long gone before you knew it,"

The deal was so tantalizing. Elaine could see her coven had agreed to it without a second thought. They were ready to kick the vampires away from Bay Horth but Elaine knew this wasn’t the right deal. If she accepts the deal and makes the vampires a daylight shield, they would move freely in the sun and might decide not to leave Bay Horth.

“I think no one has done it before. It is vampire nature to walk in the dark… It’s impossible to cheat nature,"

“No one might have done it before doesn’t make it impossible… And vampires ain’t nature, we are some Devil’s wonders- A witch made me a vampire- and I became the first of my kind. So anything is possible!”

Elaine then thought about it again- Kol wasn’t just killing witches. He wanted them to make him a shield against sunlight, but they all failed. Elaine doesn’t know the recipe for the concoction, since it hasn’t been made before.

“So if I create you a daylight shield, your vampires would now move freely in the sun. So weeks later, the Lycans would come demanding their powers, claiming they have something that might be of interest to me"

“Everyone knows the Lycans are the weakest fraction. Even the humans now hunt them. So we the vampires should be your major concern because we are second to you in terms of strength,"

“I think it is a fair deal,” Rebecca, Elaine’s second in command, said.

“Yes, it is. I won’t be here if the deal wasn’t fair,"

“The vampires are meant to lurk in the dark and the Lycans are meant to be in the woods. So far, nature has taken its course,” Elaine said.

Lurk in the dark? The vampires were destined for something big. They were supposed to be leaders, not creepers who burn out at the rays of sunlight. The Lycans might be comfortable with their predicament, but the vamps are not. They were ready to fight nature and walk freely in the sun.

"Elaine, I know you want this deal"

"Yes! But the deal is just too cloudy to be true"

“I knew you would be like this.” Kol’s voice now becomes deeper. It was like his patience was already worn out, which could be bad for the witches. He was the first species of vampire. His blood had created a lot of generations of vampires. So he was unusually fast and could attack three witches in seconds. Unfortunately, his quench for blood was more than usual. Guess that was the price of selling his soul to the devil.

“I could just decide to join forces with my fiercest enemy, the Lycans, and on the full moon. We could just attack you and the human creatures you admire so much. Or do you think you can stop us? It is only a matter of time before I wipe you and your kind from the surface of the earth"

Kol wasn’t ready to joke anymore. He had tried to be as gentle as he could. He was here for serious business and not to toil around.

"Is that a threat?"

"Maybe! but to prevent such from happening, make me what I need," he said with a feint smile.

"Why don't we read his mind then? We could walk through his subconscious and know what he had planned once his demands were met," a witch said

Kol stood still. It was exactly like he had predicted. He knew the witches would result in that, so he was already prepared. He had been on the witches’ trail for decades, so he knew what they do when they were confused. They would get into his head and begin to solve the puzzle on their own. What he planned on doing to the witches, what kind of pains he had installed for them. He was first going to inflict an everlasting pain on them which would make them wish they had died, then they would drink his blood as water- so he will then kill them and separate their bones so that when they try to unite with their ancestors, they would be an abomination. And their souls would fly helplessly around the town they craved so much about.

"Oh, that would be nice" Elaine brought him back from his thought "it would be an honor to walk through the subconscious of the greatest vampire of all time"

Kol smiled, knowing he had been a step ahead of the witches. He had already drunk a magical elixir, a potion made from the mistletoe and opium. He had spared the life of a witch for his great course. So the witch had made him a portion to cloud his mind and made it difficult for the witches to access his thoughts.

"Hope you are ready for the long walk," he said with a smile

So Kol walked up to Elaine, who grabbed his head tightly with her two hands and started a momentum spell.

"Kuze albrobrom Lou ve tusca........."

She entered his subconscious and then began to walk down his memory lane. She refrained from entering some of his memories. She could feel an electric shock as she tries harder. She never believed such a monster like him could have family in mind. Kol's actions were always for his family and the people he sire.

Elaine was sweating profusely, it was like the whole channeling thing was getting the more of her. She could feel herself getting weak as she move through his memory. It was like she would get caught up in the mixture of his love life and wars. It was like if she kept moving through his thoughts, she would be lost forever. So she pulled back, not ready to go any further.

Kol felt a rush of energy leave him as she let him go. He felt very weak and scared. He hadn't felt like that before.. not since he became a vampire, but the whole channeling had gotten a lot from him. He knew it would take more than a dozen of humans to replenish his strength.

"Hope you liked what you saw?" He said with a smile as he tries to regain his strength.

Elaine looked at him, she still couldn't believe Kol had the purest intention and wouldn't hurt the witches when his demands are met. She tries to think of it all over again. Would Kol be gone? Would his vampires leave with him? Won't he come back in full force, mount on the witches, and rule the citadel? But the more she tried, the more lost she was. She just couldn't solve the mystery, so she was ready to give him a try and break whatsoever rule she had set for herself not trusting any vampire. She was about to break the rule, so she wished it would be worth it because a turn-in event would cost her Bay Horth and her clan.

Elaine turned to her coven, her lips were so heavy as she announced it.

"I deeply regret to say this; his intentions are pure"

Kol's heart was filled with joy, he had been so successful in the enemy territory. He knew this was only the beginning of what was to come. The vampires would rise again and this time with full force.

"So when should I be expecting my hex?" he said with a feint smile.
