Atha: Dungeon core. World domination hopeful.
I hook both of my arms around the humans, and allow for the one with the harp on his back to feel up my ass. He bites his lower lip, and I wonder what he will say, when he finds out that I have two dicks?
Probably that I am made for threesomes.
I chuckle at that, and he turns to stare at me.
"So, introductions. My name is Augustine. I am a Song weaver. This is Vincent, he is an archer," the harp player says, and I nod.
"My name is Atha, as I said before," I say, and they both turn to stare at me.
"Like the Atha from the story about dungeon core Leander?" Vincent asks, and I shake my head.
"No connection," I say, and he looks disappointed. Alcandino's story, while the dungeon core was still active, was a grand one. Nowadays, though, Leander and his lovers prefer to stay in their tunnels, and laze around. Which is why the dungeons sprouted back up. At least, the Father of Monsters is no longer around.
"But, what do you want to do? Take over the world, and..." Vincent lets his voice trail off. I smile at him, my canines pointing out of my mouth. I can see that this unnerves him, a little.
"I want to do what Leander never did. He let the control of the world slip through his fingers. He could have been great, but then he failed to keep the dungeons in check," I say, and they both nod.
"Think about it that way, if he didn't stop being active, we would have never met," Augustine says with a wink.
"And I would probably have never been born," I agree with him.
"How old are you, Atha?" Vincent asks me.
"Not too old. I am just twenty-five," I say, and they share a look.
"Well, you are the eldest. Therefore, you must be the big spoon in the harem," Augustine says, and I wonder if smut is the only thing on his mind.
"Can you be serious for just a second? I liked you better before, when you gave all your attention to me," Vincent says, and Augustine pokes out his tongue at him.
Vincent shakes his head, and I collect my thoughts.
What am I going to do, once I take care of all the dungeons?
I ask myself. Northumbria is nowhere near Alcandino, but, eventually, Leander will find out that I am trying to muscle up on his territory. He has the Huergaz Adventurer's Guild on his side still.
Not to mention all those "dungeon cores" he created by giving fake dungeon cores to his followers. At least the Adventurer's Union is disbanded.
"I will bring in a new age of peace and plenty," I say finally. I will worry about someone who has been lording over the world for the past 3,016 years later. Leander's time is over, that much is for certain.
"Well, we will help you do it. The question is, can you spread in every cave? Won't it hurt you, to split your focus to so many nooks and crannies," Augustine asks. Hm, I haven't given that much thought.

"I will make sure that I am high enough level, so there won't be any side effects," I tell Augustine, and he leans into my personal space.
"Hm, you smell good. Like cinnamon," he comments, and I shrug him off of myself.
"We will take it slow," I say, when he looks at me like a kicked puppy.
"Oh, come on," he says, and then the archer untangles himself from his hold as well.
"You won't be seeing any action, until you devote yourself to the party," he says, even though I know, from the look he is giving Augustine, that he wants him. I guess he is insulted, that the blonde wants a harem, and can't settle for just him.
"What? This is unfair," Augustine says. He is adorable when he pouts. I should tease him into pouting every chance I get.
"How about we cook, when we get back to town?" Vincent suggests, and Augustine's expression changes to that of an excited puppy. The only thing he is missing is a tail, which he can wave around. And cute puppy ears, that will stand to attention.
Huh, he is really something, for me to think of him as a puppy all the time.
I lick my lips, and take Augustine's hand in mine.
Instead of him getting flustered, he moves closer to me, and says:
"Come on, absorb the crystal," he urges, and I take the crystal, and place it over my heart. It glows a bright blue color, and disappears. I feel my mana pool expanding, and filling up. I unsheathe one of my swords, and use a wind attack, to slash at a tree. There is a bigger than usual gash on the bark, and I smile.
"Wow, you can do magic attacks," Vincent comments, and I hook an arm around his middle. Augustine snuggles into me, and I feel like a winner for the first time, since I created my first slime. That wasn't a good enough achievement, but now, I think I can do more.
Watch out, Leander and company, Atha is coming for you. And not your barrier stone genius Atha, either, but one that actually can bring you down from your high horses.
"We have to take small steps," Vincent says, taking the lead when it comes to planning. "Leander didn't start off as a guild master. He was ranked F, and we... are not ranked at all."
My mood dampens at that, and I bite my lower lip. I stare at the gash I made on the tree. Armaros, the hamster dungeon core, could do tornadoes after a couple of months of training.
"We shouldn't compare ourselves to the Legends of Yesterday," Augustine says. "Because we are the Legends of Tomorrow. And after us, the day will belong to someone else."
"Corny," Vincent and I say at the same time, which makes Augustine pout at us again.
"I was just trying to lift your moods," he says, as he makes the first step towards the road.
Everyone knows the story of the Huergaz's Try Hard Party. Soon, they will know the story of...
Wait, we have to name the party!
Gods, I hate naming things.
