Episode-79: Casual Talk

 

 

By losing interest in the video everyone was talking with each other. Specially they speak primarily about Miranda. Arc was really interested in her background.

 

It has been a while since Arc actually enjoyed the casual talk with friends.

 

"I am now your senior at the academy, you know?"

 

Inayat said. Arc IQ plays for him best which creates a question,

 

"You transfer to the Isabel Academy?"

 

Arc asked her.

 

"Yes, after mom passed away, father got lonely, so I have come back to this country and joined Isabel Academy. You probably didn't hear about it judging by your reaction."

 

Inayat replied with a sad smile.

 

[Miranda?]

 

Arc asked if Miranda knows anything about that.

 

[She died of the unknown disease she was carrying for ten years. Maybe you have forgotten about it, but everyone knows about her disease. In the end, no one could cure it, and died two years ago, back then I was newly appointed maid to you.]

 

Miranda replied.

 

"So, nobody could cure her disease, after all?"

 

Arc said with a sad face. Well, it was fake, however, if he does not act like that, it will be odd to see.

Arc told her.

Inayat told him.

Inayat shifts the talk.

Arc replied.

 

"Well, even I did see her only two times in the last three years despite being a princess."

 

Ariana added.

 

"Hmm, I saw her face many times, she is good looking true. However, she doesn't have any emotions at all. I do not know if she doesn't have any or if she forcing it not to appear on her face."

 

Inayat told him.

 

"I thought those who practice frozen art, don't have any emotions at all."

 

Arc told her.

 

"Nah, who told you that?"

 

Inayat asked. Arc didn't reply but shrugged.

 

"They are also human you know. I always saw smiling faces on the principal, and I also saw various kinds of emotions on Yuri Schwarz's face. It is just her who is void of emotion."

 

Inayat told her.

 

"Come to think about it. I thought she was too haughty to show any emotion."

 

Ariana added.

 

Arc thought about it. Looks like he is facing a rather tough opponent in the future. Arc didn't touch on the topic of her emotion instead he asked,

 

"How strong is she?"

 

"I don't know the latest update about her strength, but she was the second strongest disciple of Frozen Academy on the last Wonder Bell Festival. It was two years ago."

 

Inayat replied.

 

"I see. Frozen is strong in Academy, and there are her seniors too, so she was strong even after that. I guess, she has top-level strength in all academies."

 

Arc remarked, then he asked,

 

"How strong are you?"

 

Arc asked her.

 

"I don't know, I somehow got champion on the last season, hehe."

 

Inayat replied. Arc got surprised by hearing that, 'She somehow got Champion?'

 

It felt like, he was an ignorant country bumpkin, who was sitting with a celebrity but he have no idea of it.

 

"So, you are the strongest of the Academy level now."

 

Arc asked her.

 

"Hmm, you can say so. Who knows, maybe I am the strongest among those who participated."

 

Inayat replied.

 

'Looks like, she met someone stronger than her, who didn't participate in the tournament, because of that, she wasn't that happy about it by having that title of her.'

 

Arc thought inwardly, not gonna he will dig more than he should know. He then asked her,

 

"I see. Then when will be the next Wonder Bell Festival?"

 

"This year."

 

She replied instantly.

 

"I see. So, I can also participate in this."

 

Arc muttered.

 

"Do you have the battle skill?"

 

Inayat asked him.

 

"Yes, I do have skills. It can be used just by moving my hand."

 

Arc told her. He was planning to announce SenboneZakura and Magnet style with the blue flame to everyone. He will later introduce his telekinesis ability too.

 

"Wow, so, you can fight even without moving your body, just by moving your hand, ha? I really like to taste it."

 

Inayat said with an excited voice.

 

"We can exchange pointers in the basement if you want. It's a voice-proof room."

 

Arc suggested her.

 

"Can we really do that?"

Episode-80: Exchanging Pointers Vs Inayat.

 

 

Arc and Inayat were facing each other, he was still in his wheelchair. Despite being the daughter of Isaac he doesn't feel like revealing everything to her on the first day.

 

It is foolish to trust anyone on their first meeting.

 

"Are you guys ready?"

 

Ariana asked them.

 

"Yes, I am ready."

 

Senbonzakura Zanpakto appeared on the hand of Arc. This was the first time Ariana saw that Arc have this kind of sword.

 

"Let's start the fight then."

 

Inayat told him.

 

"Ok, start."

 

Hearing Ariana, Arc said,

 

"Scatter."

 

It became blade petals.

 

"What are you using domain on the first go or something?"

 

Inayat asked. Arc didn't reply and brought his hilt down. She started to dodge the blades that were coming toward her.

 

When it almost hit her she made a golden color shield before her. Which saves her from being directly got attacked by the path of the blade petals.

 

Inayat narrowed her eyes. She does not know what can those pink color flower petals looking can do to her, but she is fearing that it's not something good. Her battle instinct saying not to touch them.

 

Suddenly she felt danger on her back and move from there. And instantly release her true power to deflect that.

 

It was Arc's iron sand magnet style.

 

"I thought I don't have to use my power against you, however, you force me to do that just after a few seconds of starting."

 

Inayat told him. Arc noticed that she has a new look now. She has a golden hat on her head and a rob attire which was also a golden color. She has a staff that was also in golden color. Those are not physical things but spiritual things which are made of condensed mana.

 

She looked like a witch. Especially her golden spiritual hat points it so.

 

"So, this is your domain?"

 

Arc asked her. However, she denied it.

 

"No, it is the regular power of a witch. Most of the advanced witches can use them. Even though it is not a domain, with just base form it can rival many mid-tier domains."

 

She explained to him. Then she pointed her stuff against him.

 

She then releases a mana bullet toward him. Arc's iron sand came in front of him which made the upper part of the umbrella, which could barely save him from the attack.

 

"As expected, I underestimated you. You have both attacking power and defending power. You can do that just by sitting, I wonder how strong you will be after you can walk."

 

Inayat assessed Arc's ability. And saying that she started to fly with her newly made golden spiritual boot on her feet and was throwing bullets surrounding him. Arc's iron sand was protecting him automatically.

 

Arc then made his Senbonzakura follow her. However, looks like she is faster than it. Arc wasn't Byakuya Kuchiki, so he doesn't really have the experience to fight against a faster opponent.

 

Arc then uses his Emperor Eyes, if he can't catch her with the fast movement he will catch her with prediction. Arc then uses his trump card. Which is his storage. He has now eight slots of storage like in the RPG game. Like his guild card, no living thing is allowed in this store.

 

He took extra sand in her direction that he collected for where there is no sand.

 

It caught her off guard and she got punched by it.

 

She drops to the floor. However, she stood up without any visible injury on her.

 

Arc noticed what happened just now, that robe behind Inayat protected her just now. However, the impact was still great she almost fell to the ground.

 

"You almost got me there. However, you have to surrender now."

 

Arc heard the voice just behind him. It was the voice of Inayat, however, he was still seeing her in his front.

 

"Clone?"

 

Arc asked her.

 

"Yes, I can turn clone from just little particle magic from me which is not visible to the eyes."

 

Inayat told her.

 

'Even though I didn't notice that I should have sensed that, no?'

 

This was the first time Arc failed to sense someone was a few meters behind her. With such a short distance he always senses his opponent even if it is Isaac himself.

 

"You are thinking about sensing the Mana? As I told you I can turn a clone of myself with so little amount of mana which is not only invisible to normal people but also hard to sense."

 

She explained. Hearing her, Arc opened his Sharingan. He finally noticed that there is not only one particle of magic such as this, it was more than that can count. It was like a single powder of flour hovering around him.

 

He already got checkmated, it won't happen if he use Sharingan earlier. After all, the kinetic prowess of Sharingan is sharp if not as sharp as Byakugan, it is still 2nd after that.

 

"Interesting, eyes you have got there."

 

Inayat told him. Arc undid his Sharingan and told her,

 

"It's my loss."

 

Arc cannot defeat her now if he doesn't release all of his power, he can defeat her in many ways, however, for that he has to show her his card, which is not necessary.

 

"Hehe."

 

Inayat released back her clone.

 

"Well, you also hide the fact that you can release magic with that particle, I don't know how you can do but you can do it. Because in the end, your clone is also magic, so you can use other magic too."

 

Arc analyzes her.

 

"Huh, you are a sharp one, na? You're the person who found that out after battling for the first time against me. You have a great future, hun."

 

She replied with a smile. On the other hand, Arc was thinking about how overpowering she may become with this magical ability, who didn't even release her domain yet.
