(? POV)
"Mhm."
Groaning I opened by eyes.
But then I immediately closed them again. Since pain flooded my mind the moment I tried to do so.
"Let's no do that again." I mumbled to myself.
I then waited a few seconds for the pain to subside. Once it did so I tried opening my eyes again. But this time I did it in a slow and deliberate manner.
Hoping I wouldn't end up in pain again.
Turns out I was right.
Slowly opening my eyes worked.
I didn't feel any pain like before.
Once I accomplished this I noticed I was in bed and then sat up.
But then after I did so I was struck with utter confusion.
Since the bed I am currently lying in isn't my own. The same can be said for the room I am in.
Looking around I don't recognize anything in it. That's not to mention the size of the room itself.
It is huge.
Much bigger than the place I live.
So the question I now have is, how the hell did I end up in this place?
As I pondered this for several minutes I couldn't come up with any concrete reason. Seeing as I wasn't getting anywhere just thinking about the matter at hand I decided it was time to do some investigating.
Getting out of bed I got ready to look around the room for any clues.
But in doing so I noticed something immediately.
I got shorter.
My height is 175 centimeters last time I checked. So I should be standing taller than the bed. But I am not. Instead my head is barely reaching the top of the bed itself.
"Ok, this just keeps getting stranger and stranger." I spoke.
Now I really need to get some answers.
Ignoring my sudden change in height for the moment, I started looking around the room itself.
First I went over to the desk in the corner and looked inside. But I found nothing of significance. Just some paper and pencils.
Moving on from that my next target was the closest directly in front of the bed.
I moved over to it and opened up the doors.
As I did so I suddenly found myself looking into a full-body mirror. Staring at my own reflection.
The moment I did so I felt a shock throughout my entire body. Since the person staring back at me in the mirror is not me.
I am Riku Aragaki. A 20 year-old college student with short black hair and brown eyes.
But the person in the mirror is a kid who can't be more than seven or eight years old. He also has short white hair and ruby red eyes of all things.
Which is definitely not normal.
"Seriously, what the fuck is happening?" I said.
Just after I did so I felt an intense pain in my head.

Falling to my knees I clutched both side of my head, crying out for the pain to stop.
But as quickly as the pain began it ended.
Once it did so I finally came to understand my situation with perfectly clarity.
I had died.
Apparently the all mighty truck-kun decided to come and pay me a visit. He ran my ass over. Killing me without any hesitation.
But after this happened somehow I ended up getting a second chance at the thing called life.
My soul has somehow ended up merging with the soul of the body I now inhabit.
So while I am Riku Aragaki I am also this new person as well.
Whose name is Alastor Lindwurm.
"Wait, haven't I heard that name somewhere before?" I asked myself.
I then closed my eyes and thought about it. Once I did so it only took a minute for the answer to come to me.
Alastor Lindwurm is the name of a villain in a popular bishoujo game I played in my previous life called Tales From Midgard.
It was a super popular game with twenty capture targets, each with their own unique fetish that drew the players in.
Set in a fantasy world filled with monsters, magic, and the like Tales From Midgard follows the adventurers of the game's protagonist known as Aaron Brightstar. Who is a typical shonen protagonist do-gooder who ends up getting involved in other people's issues without any reason too.
Aaron throughout the game captures women's hearts, gets involved in the internal matters of several world powers and resolves them, and most importantly he brutally kills and murders anyone who stands in his way.
And now I have literally turned into one of those people.
Alastor Linduwrm.
One of the first major villain's of the game who is involved with two of the protagonist's capture targets.
A guy who end literally has his arms cut off by Aaron and is then burned alive.
Brutal I know. But the games brutality is also what made is especially popular.
But back to the point.
Is the universe or whatever force sent me here placing some sort of sick joke?
They reincarnate me into the body of a person who is slated to die a brutal death in the future.
Yeah, fuck that shit.
There is no way I'm dying like the original Alastor.
Not by a fucking longshot.
I have no idea why I have been given this second chance, but I won't give it up that easily.
Screw the game plot.
Because starting right now I'll carve out my own future.
Look out world, here comes the new Alastor Lindwurm.
A/N: A new story which will be my main focus for some time. It's the reason my other stories are on Hiatus. I hope you enjoy this.
