Chapter 2: Chapter 2: A Capture Target & Parents

Resolving my self to lead a life different from the original Alastor I put a smile on my face.

Then right after I did so I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." I said.

Turning towards it after I did so.

The moment after I gave my response the door opened up and a person entered the room.

Well my room now I guess.

The individual in question is a girl my age. She is dressed in a maid uniform. Her hair is light blue and secured in a single ponytail behind her back, while her eyes are a bright yellow. She is also sporting a stoic expression on her face.

Looking at her I instantly recognized her.Even though she is younger than when she appeared in the game.

The girl standing in front of me is one of the protagonists future capture targets.

Her name is Charlotte Norg.

In the game she was the original Alastor's personal maid/bodyguard who he constantly abused without hesitation.

Which should've been the death of Alastor.

Since Charlotte had been trained from a young age in various forms of martials arts, weapons handling, and magic.

However due to certain circumstances she couldn't repel against Alastor. So he continued to abuse her as he pleased.

That is until Aaron Brightstar found out about the abuse and got involved.

Leading to the original Alastor's death in the game.

Which I am going to avoid at all costs.

Looking at me Charlottes' expression didn't change in the slightest.

"Young master I see you are finally awake." Charlotte said in a monotone voice. She then cracked a small smile. "I am glad." She spoke.

As she did so I heard real warmth in her voice.

Which told me that I arrived before Alastor started abusing her.

Good.

Now I can build a good relationship with her.

Since her future self is a complete badass, and I would love to have her by my side as my personal bodyguard/maid.

"Thank you Lotte." I spoke, giving her a smile in return.

I then had to resist the urge to put a dumb expression on my face.

'Where the hell did that nickname come from?' I thought. I just called Charlotte Lotte without even thinking about it.

Which doesn't make any sense since we literally just met.

The only thing I can think of is that some of the original Alastors' personality has rubbed off on me.

Well so long as I don't get the shitty parts that make him a future villain I'm fine with it.

Though I can't let my guard down just yet. I don't want to get blindsided after all.

"Young master are you ok?" Charlotte asked me.

"Yes, I'm fine Lotte." I said. "So, what did you need of me?"

"I came to see if you were awake after your accident." She explained.

"Accident?" I questioned.

The moment after I did so memories flashed at the forefront of my mind.

Seems original Alastor fell out a tree while playing earlier and landed on his head, passing out. He was then brought to his room to rest. I guess that's when my soul merged with his.

Charlotte gave me a questioning look. "Young master are you sure you are ok?"

"I'm fine Lotte. Really. Just still a bit out of it. Not to worry though, I am feeling better by the second." I explained to her.

"I see. That's wonderful news to hear." Charlotte said. "So, do you feel up to seeing the master and mistress? They are very worried about you." She explained.

As Charlotte asked me this I got more memory flashes.

Telling me the master and mistress are my father and mother.

When the memories came I experienced the emotions associated with them. Happiness, joy, fear, etc..

I'm so thankful I'm not passing out.

When the emotions and memories finally stopped I inhaled and exhaled several times to calm down. "Ok Lotte. I'm ready." I said.

After I did so Charlotte simply gave me a curt nod.

She then left the room and I followed behind her.

Off to see my parents for the very first time.

Walking behind Lotte through the halls of my family home I greeted any maids and staff that we passed by.

They in turn greeted me back, smiles on their faces and happy at my full recovery.

I could tell they are being genuine. Which made it all the better.

Feeling such warmth and compassion, it really makes me wonder how the original Alastor turned into such a horrible person in the future.

Who knows, maybe he was just born bad.

Deciding not to dwell on the matter I continued following Charlotte until we reached a set of double doors.

From my memories I knew these doors in front of us lead to my fathers' personal office.

'Moment of truth.' I thought.

Going up to the doors I opened them.

I then stepped inside, Charlotte following in behind me.

After doing so I spotted two people.

The first is a beautiful woman. She has white hair like me, but her eyes are sky blue.

She is my mother, Rayna Lindwurm.

The second person is a man sitting behind the desk. He has long-red hair secured in a ponytail and a goatee on his face. He also has ruby-red eyes just like mine.

He is my father, Alfric Lindwurm.

My parents looked in my direction after I entered the office. I can see the happiness and relief on their faces.

"Mom, dad. I'm ok."I said.

Then as soon as I did so my mother got up, rushed over to me, and enveloped me in a super tight hug.

"My baby, I'm so glad!" My mom cried. Continuing to hug me.

My face having ended up right in her boobs.

'Can't breathe!' I thought.

I tapped my mother's shoulders to let her know I was getting ready to pass out from lack of oxygen. But she didn't get the memo and instead kept hugging me. Which only made me try to get her to let me go all the more.

"Lady Rayna, I don't think Alastor can breathe." Charlotte spoke up.

'Oh thank you Charlotte.' I thought.

Already doing excellent in her bodyguard duties.

"Ops, sorry." Mom said.

She then put me down and then put a silly smile on her face.

"Well then, we just wanted to make sure you were alright." My father spoke. "That will be all."

"Yes father. See you and mother at dinner later." I said.

Charlotte and I then left my fathers' office.

Since I know he has important work to do.

I'm not upset.

As Charlotte and I walked I gave her a smile. "Thanks for the save earlier Lotte."

"Of course, it is my duty as your maid." Charlotte said. A completely blank expression on her face.

Seeing this I can't believe this girl at my side is going to grow up and develop a masochism fetish.

Yep, adult Charlotte is a masochist.

Which is why she was one of the most captured characters in the game. The contradiction between her usually stoic and almost bitch-like attitude when compared to her slutty panting face as she begs you to spank her or step on her when having sex is a gap moe that drove people crazy.

Me included.

But again, right now I can't see Charlotte like that.

Thought that might change as we get older.

Only time will tell I guess.
