Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Charlotte’s Web of Danger (1/2) 

“Off into the woods, we go!” (Ana) 

After I state such, Emily and I head into the Forest of Spirits where Charlotte’s village is located. I will be marrying Charlotte today; Emily and I decided that the girls that I meet and marry will receive their own ceremony individually. There are many different cultures with different ceremonies for Charlotte’s village, we proclaim our love in for of the great spirit tree and the village’s elder. 

“My Love. My Love, can you hear me?” (Emily) 

“Oh, I’m sorry, I guess my mind was preoccupied, Darling.” (Ana) 

“I know your excited about getting to marry Charlotte today now that your both officially adults, I am excited for you both as well, but we made it to the village barrier, you need to blow the whistle the Elve’s Village Elder gave you, My Love.” (Emily) 

“That’s right, I wonder if Ariana will be the spirit to show us the way through the barrier, like last time?” (Ana) 

“It would be nice to see her again, the last time we saw her was a year ago when we helped Charlotte...” (Emily) 

1 Year and a day ago 

 “It’s been two years since Ariana told us about our fate and the girl named Charlotte. I hope we will be able to help her when she comes. How are you feeling about it, Ana?” (Emily) 

“I hope we can help her as well, but I’m still not sure how I feel about marrying another person besides you.” (Ana) 

“Well, I understand how you feel, however it is not as though you will be marrying as soon as you meet, there is still a year before we are both adults, and we don’t know how old this girl is either”. (Emily) 

“Ana. Emily! There is an Elf girl that just ran into the town in a panic looking for you two. She said her name is Charllotte.” (Klare) 

“Thanks, Momma, where is she located?” (Ana) 

“They are keeping her near the guard gate, while I came and got you two. What’s going on? Is this the Elf girl the great spirits warned you about?” 

“Yes, this must be her. We will head there right away. Thank you, Aunty Klare.” (Emily) 

“Please hurry, oh and call me Mother Klare from now, you will be my daughter-in-law in a year anyways.” (Klare) 

“Hahaha... Very well, Mother Klare” (Emily) 

“Well, if that is the case, I will be calling you Darling from henceforth, and you can call me the per name you wish to. Now let’s go, Darling.” (Ana) 

“...Let’s go...My...Love.” (Emily) 

As we start running to the guard gate, I can hear my Momma yell out... 

“Be safe, Charlotte can stay here if she needs to.” (Mother Klare) 

“Thank you!” (Ana) 

After yelling my thanks, we ran for about 5 minutes and reached the guard gate, that was when I saw her... 

I have heard many people say that elves were beautiful, but I just can’t believe that there would be any elf as beautiful as the one standing before me, she had long blonde hair, emerald green eyes, she was a few inches taller than me around 5’2 and she had a moderate bust and petite frame. As I watched her and the guard come over to Emily and I, her aura gave me a sense that she would go to any links to protect those dear to her... 

“Good day, Ana, Emily. Thank you for coming so quickly.” (Guard)

“Good day to you as well, Kevin. It’s no problem, may we speak to person in question alone?” (Ana) 

“Normally we would have to verify a few things, but since you and Emily are the guard captain’s daughter and vice-captain's daughter, it should be fine.” (Guard Kevin) 

“Hahaha, Thank you, Kevin.” (Ana) 

“Are you the ones the great spirit told me of?” (Charlotte) 

“Please come with us a slightly more private area, and we will answer your questions.” (Emily) 

“Very well.” (Charlotte) 

After we three moved to a more private area, Charlotte asked... 

“So, I can presume that the two you are the ones I am looking for, correct?” (Charlotte) 

“Yes, you are correct, my name is Emily. Go ahead and introduce yourself as well, my Love.” (Emily) 

“Very well, Darling. My name is Anastasia, you can call me Ana for short if you wish.” (Ana) 

After introducing ourselves I could see a slight look of astonishment on Charlotte’s face after hearing how Emily and I call one another. Then after getting her bearings, she states... 

“I’m sorry for my brief shock, the great spirit didn’t mention that the two of you were betrothed. My name is Charlotte, and I need your help, my village will be under attack soon.” (Charlotte) 

“It is quite fine, we haven’t gotten married yet, we still have a year before we reach adult age, Emily and I are both 14 currently. May I ask, do the name of the spirit who told you about us, and explain more about the attack?” (Ana) 

“Yes, I am quite sorry, I forgot she told me to name her. The great spirit’s name was Ariana she said she was your guardian spirit and that I could rely on your and Emily’s help. She said she will guide us back to the village, when we head there. As for the attack the Great Spirit Tree is replenishing its lost leaves from the previous winter, and with that the barrier is weakening, soon a horde Archna Monters will attack the village when the barrier is at its weakest. Normally we could handle them, however the scouting party said that there are far more monsters than normal, the Great Spirit told me that you could use origin spirit magic, and that Emily is a highly skilled mage as well. Will you two please help us?” (Charlotte) 

“Yes, of course we will, Ariana gave us a warning that you would be becoming to ask for our help 2 years ago, and we have been every day since for this moment.” (Ana) 

“Thank you, thank you truly. Do you mind if we head to my village soon?” (Charlotte) 

“Yes, of course just allow us to report to our mothers about where we are going and the situation if it comes down to it, they might be willing to help as well, my mom is the guard captain, and Emily’s mom Lily is the vice-captain of the guard.” (Ana) 

“Thank you, I will have to ask my village elder for permission beforehand before anyone else is allowed in the village, if they say yes, I will appreciate the help as well,” (Charlotte) 

After telling Emily and my mothers about the situation and where we are going, Charlotte, Emily, and I started heading to the Elf village during which I stated... 

“Let’s go squash some spiders...” (Ana)
