Jade could not hold in the laughter that tore through her. Her friend was just funny. What she was scared of is similar to the fears Jade had. Although each had a different reason behind theirs but it was pretty much the same.
"You should really take the advice you are giving me. I know and I get it that you are scared of letting your heart love him due to the hurt you faced as a result of the incident with Sky. Yes, everyone makes mistakes my dear," Jade advised her.
She knew it was hard and that was not exactly her plan on what to advice Macy, but then again, listening to her friend's fears she just smiled.
They were but two lonely beautiful ladies yearning to be loved but too afraid to love. Too scared of letting any of their loved ones get hurt because of them.
Just too scared to even try any of such because they feel they weren't worth it and that the love was too good for them.
"I know. I know. I am just scared and so are you, Jade. But unlike you, I am giving mine a chance to let it lead to what it was meant to be."
"Are you sure? Because it feels like even though you are doing that on the surface, in reality you are guarding your heart against future ache and delaying the inevitable."
"It is funny seeing as we are both saying the same things, but know this Jade," Macy said that and paused.
"Know what?"
"I know you're feeling sadness. I see it in your eyes. The pain is overwhelming when a loved one dies, but it is time for you to let go and set your heartache free. For there's a life that's waiting there for you.
If you can let love through. If you can give love, you will find your family. Though it may not be like it was before. And if you give love, you'll never lose love. It only grows more and more.
No need to build a wall up. For you can now be strong. The things that you've been searching for have been here all along. And though it hurts to miss them, their spirit's always near. So trust that she will always be with you and love someone new."
Macy did not notice it but Jade had started to cry. Her song had touched her so much where it hurt the most that crying became her one and only option.
She missed her parents so much. They were her life, her joy, her peace and her hope. She had been hiding how lonely she felt all these months but n ow… it all spilled.
"So baby girl, I hope you realize that you have love all around you. I think it is time we both give ourselves the chance to love. Jade it is time."
"I know." She took in a deep breath and smiled at Macy. "I know."
"Come here," Macy said and pulled her friend in for a warm hug.

And just as the two of them had agreed they gave themselves the opportunity to be loved and began opening their hearts to the guys in their lives.
And just like her song, Jade began to feel more alive than before. For the first time in her life, she wasn't entirely bothered about her revenge and was happy living the life of a normal girl.
Xander himself made it worthwhile for her. He did not fail to show her just how much he loved each day, causing her to smile endlessly and giving her something to look forward to at the start of the new day.
At one weekend, Macy and Jade had decided to go and have a vacation but Xander kicked against it.
"Hey, Xander this is not up for deliberation. We are going whether you like it or not," Macy's said, crossing her arms underneath her bosom as she titled her head to the side.
Xander shook his head. He just did not know how the girls could not see that hhe was not against them going out.
"No one is arguing with you Macy."
"Then what are you doing? You want to prevent our relaxation, don't you?"
"No I am not."
"Looks to me like you do, Xan," Jade chipped in.
"Not you too, Quinn." Xander let out a deep sigh. It was obviously useless to be arguing with the two ladies. "What I meant was that you two would not be going there…" Before he had finished, Macy interrupted him. Gosh! Xander face-palmed himself. He was in for some girls trouble wasn't he? "Would you two just let me finish?"
"Okay, go on, we are all ears," Jade urged him.
"Thank you. I said I would not let you two go there alone."
"You see, he is saying the same thing," Macy Interjected.
"Not entirely true, Macy. He added alone. What do you mean, we do not need bodyguards if that is what you mean."
"No, it isn't. Simply put I was trying to say we all would be coming as well. It would be like the vacation we had on the island."
"Ohhh…" Both ladies nodded their head at him.
"So, where are we going?"
"I would have said the same place and all, but I think I have a better idea. There is a resort outside the city. We could go there for the weekend if you wished."
"Um no." Jade and Macy quickly disagreed and that had caught the attention of Xander as weird. The look he gave to the two of them made them know that they had over done it.
"Why are you two against going to the resort?"
"Um, it is not the resort," Macy spoke up first and Jade instantly hit her hand, giving her the close your mouth look. Getting the cue, Macy smiled at Xander and changed her words. "I meant it is not the resort."
"Yes I heard. Then what if not the resort? Going outside the city is the problem?"
