The Night was dead-silent except the hooting of Owls, chirping of crickets and swishing of winds. Amidst the silent night there was a beautiful mansion glowing out of the blue.

It was a sight to behold, a house that most people can only dream about. In the second floor of that mansion a window was open unlike the rest. By that window sat a girl. She long beautiful silver hair slightly disheveled over her body, baby blue eyes with a drowsy expression, implausibly artistic eyebrows, blood red plump lips, and a sharp nose. Overall the girl had a very cute picturesque face.

'I guess I should sleep now' thought the girl as she got up and started walking towards her bed. From that window a desolate full moon could be seen surrounded by a few stars amongst the boundless sky.

---------------------------------------------------------

The light of dawn seeped into my room. I rubbed my bleary eyes and walked to the window. There was a pearly glow in the sky. I saw people going for walk children running around and early morning bustling throughout the complex.

I live on the 7th floor in this complex, It's usually cold in the night but at morning the soothing warm comfortable embrace of sunlight feels refreshing.

I checked My phone one which it displayed 'Sunday 7:08 AM' Last Night there was an unusual occurrence inside my room. I found out that souls exists, Reincarnation is real and gods, Multiverse, Magic everything exists. Not in this reality but somewhere in the multiverse it does. And how can I Forget About that, yes I have a Guardian that is supposed to fulfill my desires… I named her Luna.

As for me, My Name is Atticus Whitlock, I just turned 16 today but I don't really have anyone to celebrate my birthday with. Both my parents are dead and neither of them had any close relatives, No Aunts, Uncles nor anyone else.

But I am not completely alone, one of my grandmother's friend is in touch with me and taught me a lot of things, Since she doesn't have any children of her own her she thinks of me just as her own grandson. Although we aren't related by blood we are close.

As of now I don't really have anything to do since My final year in Junior High school Just ended and I have already given the High school entrance exam. I am pretty sure I will get admission in a good High School in my City. I don't need to worry about Education cost as my father was a Army Sergeant who died in war. So, the government pays for all my academic expense till I am 19 years old.

In middle of the silence my phone made a beep sound. Looking it up  my grandmother had texted 'Hsppy Birthdsy Attixs'...

She seems to have misspelled it but I still felt warm in my heart that someone wished me. After all she was the only star close to me amidst this boundless sky.

My whole life I have lived as a dull teenager who from other people's perspective would seem depressed and suicidal. But there weren't many people who came to comfort me. Maybe if I was a pretty girl some people might have approached me.

When I was a kid I was often depressed which made me a quite kid, away from all the bustling and entertaining activities that children do in there life. I remember children talking behind my back calling me 'Creepy' and 'Gloomy'. At first it felt unpleasant but after sometime I started to ignore them and soon they started to ignore me too.

I picked up my phone and called my Grandma.

"Hello"

"Happy Birthday Atticus!"

"Thank You Grandma"

"How are you celebrating today?"

"I don't have anyone except you, and you are so far away so I would be celebrating alone"

"Don't worry Atticus I am sure you will make great friends in High school and probably even have a girlfriend"... I talked to grandma for quite a few time after which I ended the call and decided to got for a bath.

---------------------------------------------------------

In front of a regular square mirror inside simple bathroom. A boy was looking at his own face. The boy had brown hair whose bangs were on his face and an empty expression on his face. To any unknown person he would appear as a regular high school boy.
