Chapter 12: Chapter 12 – Dominating Zayats

True to her name, Zayats was a close-ranged fighter. Her wand was only used to transform into her Magical Girl outfits, to bring out the ability to utilize Magia and use Magic.

She lowered her stance and touched the ground with her right hand. The next thing that I saw was magical, or rather, it was surprising. She kicked the ground and the ground was gouged out, creating an explosion of dust behind her.

Boom!

Zayats arrived in front of me in under a second, her eyes glared at me with a desire to fight. My grin turned feral and I opened my mouth, showing off my fangs and I created Magia balls in each of my hands.

Zayats swung her left hand toward my right side. At the same time, my right hand moved and meet Zayats’s claw with the Magia bullet.

Crush!

As Zayats’s claw meet my Magia bullet, it was crushed without any trace. She instantly pulled her left hand and avoided a fatal injury.

She was an experienced fighter, that was why she understood that she can’t beat me like that and leaped away from me. She landed 10 meters from me and raised her left hand.

“You are strong.” Said Zayats as she smiled. She raised her left hand and observed it to see its condition.

Her claw was strong, it managed to block my Magia Bullet and keep her hand unharmed.

Dark Magia that felt cold gathered around Zayats’s left hand. After a second, it disappeared and a new claw glove appeared on Zayats’s left hand. She brought it in front of her mouth and licked it.

“It’s good as new, let’s continue?” Zayats’s said in a cold tone. Dark Magia was pulled in her direction and surrounded her body.

As expected of the first boss of Magical Giants. It was a shame that she was defeated by the Main Character before she showed her true abilities. The Magia that she gathered just now was massive, it was three times more compared to Magiya Emerald that I fought 3 days ago.

I dismissed the Magia Bullet on my left hand and swung my right hand to the right. My mirror appeared behind me and floated up above my head. As it reahed above my head, a thin hilt of a sword appeared from the mirror as the surface of the mirror created a ripple.

The hilt was black, it had a strange shape like two snakes enveloping each other. I raised my right hand and held the hilt that appeared from my Mirror. As I gripped the hilt tightly, I swung it down and Dark Green Magia instantly wrapped the weapon that I just pulled.

I raised my right hand to look at the weapon. It was the so-called snake sword, the flexible sword that was made from a lot of blades that was connected by Magia that I controlled. The sword guard was shaped like two snakes looking in two different directions.

The blades of my sword had black color which glowed green because of the Magia that connected it. It was 1 meter long, but because it was a snake sword that was made by combining rare materials and Magia, it could be extended until 15 meters.

Satisfied with my sword, I put my left hand behind my back and pointed the tip of my sword to the ground. I dismissed my mirror as I did not need it for now. The Skill that required my Mirror was too destructive to be used for one person.

“Let’s continue. This one didn’t have this kind of fight for a long time. You should be grateful that This one had pulled a weapon for you.”

“T-that is a terrifying weapon… This amount of Magia! You are a monster! Not even Giant had this much Magia!” Zayats took a step back when she saw my weapon and the Magia that surrounded my body when I pulled this weapon.

That was natural, this weapon was one of the End-game items after all. I made this from all kinds of Legendary Items, there was no way for this weapon to be weak.

“Oh, This one thought that you wanted this one to not hold back? Are you afraid now?”

Zayats’s body trembled and she looked at the ground. Instantly, her body was bursting out a Dark Magia that was greater than earlier.

‘Finally, she had gotten serious.’

I smiled when I saw the Magia slowly covering the area around us. The bright sky turned dark because it was covered by Zayats’s Magia. Her clothes had changed, instead of a leotard, now white clothes covering her whole body, and her lower face was hidden by a white mask.

The only visible part of her body was above her nose. She glared at me and lowered herself to the ground until her chest touched the ground.

As she did that, I leisurely raised my right hand and brought it down to the right. As my hand was swung, my sword followed my hand movement and extended itself. The blade became 10 meters long and danced in the air with fluid movement.

In just a second, the blade reached Zayats’s and was about to slash her. But, Zayats’s was faster than my sword, she dodged to the left and then rushed at me.

I grinned, and I swung my hand three times, faster than before. My blade was once again extended like a whip and slashed three times at different locations, with the main slash centered at Zayats’s direction.

Zayats’s evaded the slashes by sticking to the ground. My slashes hit the ground and left a deep cut, showing how sharp my blades were.

Zayats kept advancing towards me at a fast speed and I kept trying to slash her with my sword. A few seconds passed, and finally, Zayats’s speed began to fall. She had almost reached me, at that time I pulled my sword away and created Magia Ball on my left hand.

Zayats felt the Magia on my hand and reacted quickly, she sidestepped to the left to get to my right, but that was futile.

I rotate my body to the right and fired the Magia ball from my left hand. The ball directly hit Zayats’s body and she was blown away from the impact. I used this chance to made a big swing using my snake sword from the left to the right.

The swing was imbued by Magia, and it cut the area around me, indiscriminate with the range and the direction. It cut the trees as well as Zayats’s house behind me. I aimed above Zayats to not cut her too deeply because this swing was only a warning towards her.

After the snake sword took a full swing, the blades became one again and formed the previous one-meter sword. Zayats looked around the area dumbfounded and her transformation was undone. Her knees gave up and she flopped on the ground.

The Magia that covered the area disappeared alongside Zayats’s transformation and the sky had become clear again.

Zayats looked at me while blinking a few times. I approached her with a smile on my face and crouched in front of her to match her gaze.

“You, This one wants you. Follow this one in her adventure, Zayats.”

I extended my left hand at her and she took it with both of her hands. Her expression changed from a dumbfounded expression into a gaze full of desire and ecstasy. Her smile plastered on her face and she said.

“Yes, Master!”
