Chapter 6: Chapter 6 – Magiya Emerald

The Magical Girl in front of me clearly had a surprised face when I said that. She must’ve never expected me to say that to her, or she was a new Magical Girl with no experience.

I guessed she was a new Magical Girl. The experienced Magical Girl would’ve prepared their magic even if I was not hostile. But it was my luck if she was an inexperienced Magical Girl, I could use her as my experiment. I was excited and licked my lips as I looked at her.

“Why? Don’t you want this one to stop? What will you do next?”

The girl looked flustered and was about to say something, but I extended my left hand to stop her.

“Hmm, this one doesn’t know your name yet. How about this one give you a name, little girl?”

Truthfully, I wanted to die. How did I say that without even a single hesitation? Zmeya’s personality certainly affected me more after I took off the earring, but I was still conscious. But that Magical Girl did look pretty, it was heaven and earth if we compare her with the crappy graphics from my PC.

It made me want to eat her. In more ways than one.

The girl had recovered from her flustered state and pointed her wand towards the sky. A blue particle appeared around her body and finally gathered around her wand.

“My name is Magiya Emerald, I was chosen by Emeralda to become her Magical Girl. With my name, I ordered you to go away from here! You evil Magical Girl!”

The girl, Emerald, swung her wand and pointed its tip towards me as she said that. The particle that was gathered around her wand was shattered into thin air and disappeared. That was … Amazing!

A real Magical Girl introduced herself in front of me! That was just amazing! I’ve always wanted to look at it through VR, but now I saw it with my own eyes! Hmm, I think it was my turn to introduce myself, wasn’t it?

“You’ve done well introducing yourself, then allow this one to introduce herself.”

Although I am a Magical Girl, I had no wand. Instead, I was using a mirror and my bare hand to use magic. I had a weapon for close range, but it was not necessary right now. I was thinking about a short and cool introduction, that was why I decided to just introduce myself with my occupation and my name.

I changed my pose for my introduction. I put my right leg in front of the left one and spread my arms. My smile turned into a predatory smile as I raised my chin a little, looking down at Magiya Emerald in front of me.

“This one had a lot of title from the past, but this one was known better as Independent Magical Girl. I had no patron, I had no friend, more importantly, I had no enemies as they died in this one's hand. The world fears this one, and they tremble when they heard this one's name. Etch this into your soul, this one is called Zmeya!”

‘And I messed up! Why did I introduce myself like that?! I wanted to dig a hole and hide inside it to pass the night! ‘

For some reason though, I was able to keep my calm again. Zmeya’s personality was too convenient, I love it.

I lowered my chin and looked at Magiya Emerald that stood like a statue in front of me. Look! She didn’t even take my introduction seriously and became a statue because of her surprise! Kill me! Just kill me!

“An Independent Magical Girl?! That… I’ve never heard about it!”

Oh! So she was surprised by that. Good thing she didn’t get surprised by my introduction. Hmm… so the Independent Magical Girl was as rare as I thought in this world too? There was only 1 known Independent Magical Girl in this world, and that was me!

No Magical Girl and I meant no one could become a Magical Girl without Giant’s patron. A human was not built to wield Magia directly, they need Giant’s power to wield it. That was why only the player that started the game with New Game+ was able to be an Independent Magical Girl.

Magical Girl, without a doubt, would be observed by their Patron, they had no privacy about their activities as Magical Girl. There is one way to fix that though, join the Evil side and the members of the Evil side will happily tell you about how to avoid the Giant’s observation.

I don’t care about that. I am Zmeya, not the Main Character. I left the Main Character in that church, but when I thought about it again, should I really abandon her? I can train her to be my slave that will follow all my orders. Ah~ When I thought about that, I wanted to go back and help her.

But, I had prey in front of me right now, it’s rude to think about another girl when I had a cute girl in front of me.

“Correct~ This one was the first. Congratulations~ You have discovered a new knowledge~” I said with a flirty tone and clapped my hand repeatedly.

The girl had a dumbfounded look as she looked at me. But, although she was a new Magical Girl from what I guessed, she was certainly trained to some degree. As a fact, the reason why she was stationed in The Center must’ve related to her ability.

No weak Magical Girl would be chosen as The Center guard. The Center was the most important building in every town. Hydra Town was relatively safe from the Evil side attack, but the Magical Girl from the Good side wouldn’t risk the safety of The Center by sending a weak Magical Girl.

That was why Magiya Emerald in front of me still put on her guard and she kept pointing her wand at me.

She recovered from her surprise and gathered Magia around her wand and shouted.

“It doesn’t matter. You… you just killed two guards! I will apprehend you and take you to the Council!”

Council, the highest order of the Good side. It was interesting seeing a Magical Girl put on a serious face and shouting at me. It made me want to devour her even more!

I spread my arms and gathered Magia in each hand. Green Magia swirled on top of my hands and turned into a green ball-shaped Magia. It was the same as the bullet that I used to kill Garmr and the guards, but it was more lethal than those bullets as I gathered more Magia than the bullet.

With a predatory smile on my face, I said in a sultry tone, “Let’s have a fun time~”
