“Right, let’s make curry tonight.” Kazuki said as he and Mio stood in the kitchen.

 

When she nodded, the two of them began moving around rapidly, preparing the food.

“Listen to me, Hikaru. The two of them are acting like a newlywed couple. Kazuki cuts the vegetables, and Mio places them into the bowl…This is the first time the two of them have worked together so peacefully.”

 

“Ahh, when they are working together and their hands touch each other, the two of them will be shocked…how nice. I also long for such a sweet scene.”

 

“The two of them are very happy.”

 

While the two were working in the kitchen, there were three more gazes secretly watching them.

“Please don’t say this kind of nonsense. I hope that you are also one of the ones who are happy as well.” Kazuki said as he moved the spoon over.

 

Although her expression was of confusion, she still ate the curry.

 

“...It is slightly too sweet. But in general, it is still very delicious.”

 

“Koyuki enjoys eating spicy things right? Then, if we were to add a bit of red pepper, would that be enough?” Kazuki asked. “I guess I’ll move mine and Mio’s to another pot and make it spicier for the others.”

However, Kazuki shook Kanae’s hand off. “Kanae, I will remain in the Magic Division. This place has already become an important place to me -- just like the Kenshi Family.”

 

“W…What are you saying? Older brother actually rejected me?!”

“The Witches’ House is a very good place for Kazuki to stay. This kind of thing should not be denied by an outsider like you!” Kaguya responded quickly.

 

“You actually said that I, as Older brother’s adopted sister, am an outsider?! Hmm…since we have spoken up to here, then please prove Older brother’s Magic to me.”

 

Kanae spoke as if she had prepared for this in advance.

Kazuki secretly glanced at Iori’s legs, where they extended from her short skirt -- which only stopped mid-thigh. They were like Kanae’s, soft, but obviously muscular and containing power. Just through seeing this, he verified Kanae’s words.

 

“How one-sided…” Kaguya muttered.

 

“Don’t say it is one-sided, this side has already obtained over half of the Staff as support. This is already giving a compromise. Why should Older brother stay here if he cannot use Summoning Magic?” Kanae’s expression was victorious.

 

Kazuki wished to remain at the Witches’ House, he decided. He stared at Iori.

 

“I, I am not that great of a Knight~.” Iori said, ducking partially behind the door again, “This is terrifying~!”

 

“Let us go back, Iori. If we don’t get back soon, Torazou will begin making irresponsible remarks.”

 

“Let’s go back, let’s go back! Ehehe, then we will leave first~” Iori said, her voice cheery.

 

“Otonashi Kaguya. This year’s Inter-Division Competition, I will use the victory from Iori, and the one I obtain, to achieve final victory…” Kanae said with a laugh as she left with Iori.

 

Kaguya was dumbfounded, “…We are dragged into a battle that we cannot lose. Even the Inter-Division Competition has become favourable to the Knight Division.”

 

“Right. There is something I would like to tell everyone.” Hikaru said with a solemn tone and her expression was very serious. “There is a burning smell…from the kitchen.”

 

Kazuki remember that he had placed the pot on the oven to heat it up, and hurried to the kitchen.

 

Because only the small pot with sweet curry in it was the one being heated up, the only victim was Mio -- who sulked.

After launching consecutive Barretts, because of the stress and Magic Power depletion, Kazuki was tired and nearly fell over.

 

[But, you cannot just rest during the resting period. Quickly go conquer that girl, go ask her out! Go, Go!]

 

Leme’s voice echoed in Kazuki’s head as she used Telepathy to speak to him. She was overjoyed when she heard that Kazuki had decided to become serious.

 

[Tomorrow is Sunday, go and invite her on a date and increase positivity levels!]

 

The Inter-Division Competition was in exactly one week, if he had to spend an entire day -- uninterrupted -- to increase positivity levels…tomorrow was the best opportunity.

 

A date…but how was he to invite her on one?

After being stared at so intently by Kazuki, Mio was slightly dumbfounded.

A heart flew out of her chest, raising her positivity from 70 to 75.
