Lon’qu, now a 10-year-old, spent the last 2 years devoted to training. The young myrmidon was now completely adjusted to his strength and tempered his body like a blade in a forge. He may have been 10 but he looked much older due to the muscles and the domineering aura he gave off.

Nobody in the slums questioned him now and Lon’qu had easier access to food as he no longer had restrictions on where he could get food. However, he also began to hunt in the forest near his camp just outside of the slums. A year after he defeated the slum leader, he felt he was stagnating so he decided to leave the slums for a while and train while surviving in the forest.

The results were very good as he had managed to train both his body and his quirk, while also not forgetting to train his swordsmanship. One day, his bokken eventually broke and he decided to buy a cheap iron sword with money he got from herb collecting. It was a hassle but he needed a blade in order to bring his training to the next level.

After getting the new blade, he decided to patrol Chon’sin in order to find villains to fight. He had his instincts honed after his survival training in the forest, and he was now confident in determining which opponent was a match and which was not. This stemmed from many encounters with wildlife in the forest, which was his plan from the beginning.

He thought that by training and gaining fighting experience with his life on the line, he could gain more experience, strengthening his swordsmanship and even his mind. And after a year in the forest, he wanted to take it even further by challenging other humans.

This would be hard, as Lon’qu hadn’t killed humans at that point, had to resolve himself to kill if need be. And with that he began patrolling and whenever he saw the Yakuza or any common villain, he would meet them in an alley and challenge them. His survival training helped him a lot as he had to kill some wild animals in order to eat, but also when they attacked him and his mind was numbed to the killing of animals, but not to that of humans.

So when Lon’qu killed his first person, he was very shaken. Of course, he didn’t kill an innocent person, the first person he killed was someone who was attempting to rape a poor and helpless woman with his strength quirk, and Lon’qu was disgusted so he swiftly removed his head in one clean cut. It wasn’t until the woman screamed after seeing the bloody headless corpse that he realized he took a life.

It shook him, but eventually he resolved himself and from that moment he would not hesitate to end a life if the circumstances called for it, for that was the will of a hero.

Back to the present, Lon’qu fought every day, alternating between hunting in the forest and fighting villains in the alleys, and the name of the Chon’sin sword demon was well known throughout the entire province. Most look up to him as a hero while others think he is a wild dog. He didn’t care as he was determined to become the greatest swordsman ever.

In his free time, Lon’qu found a place to relax as it was a field with many butterflies and flowers around and he felt at peace when he was watching them. He didn’t like to show this side to others because he thought it would make him look weak so he found this place, which was just outside a quiet little village, a nice relaxing spot. However, as he was watching the butterflies fluttering around. Lon’qu heard steps and thought someone was coming for him again.

It was common that he would be challenged and many have tried, but they always failed. However, to his surprise he saw a cute little girl who appeared to be his age.

Lon’qu relaxed as he stared at her. She had clean black hair and a beautiful pink kimono. Compared to him who had a cheap blue shirt and worn out pants and boots, and hands wrapped in bandages, he was a ruffian compared to that girl.

She eventually saw him, and was startled.

“EEP!”

That is how most people would react when they saw him. He had cold eyes and he was very rugged looking so he was often a source of fear for the common folk.

“Sorry, I will leave you alone.”

He said, not wanting to scare the girl further.

However, what she said next surprised him.

“N-no…I’m sorry, I got scared because I don’t usually find people here. I came here earlier because It was such a beautiful day and the butterflies are most active on days like today.”

“Hmph.” Lon’qu grabbed his sword and started walking away when she called out to him again.

“Woah! Are you a swordsman like the ones in the legends? That’s so cool!”

“…”

Lon’qu was very flustered as he had no experience having casual conversations with others.

“Y-yes, I have been training since I was 4. I train every day so I can become strong just like the legends.”

“I bet your really strong! But why are you here? Do you watch butterflies too?”

She asked with a smile while Lon’qu turned red in embarrassment.

“N-no, I was just taking a nap!” He said, clearly flustered.

The little girl started laughing making Lon’qu turn into a tomato.

“hahaha its okay, I like to hang out here too! My name is Ke’ri, what is your name?” She said with an innocent smile.

“…L-Lon’qu.”

“Its nice to meet you Lon’qu!!!” she said excitedly at the prospect of making a new friend.

Lon’qu was confused. Most people wanted nothing to do with him because they were terrified but this strange girl Ke’ri was talking to a vicious boy from the slums like him without any fear. For the first time in his life, he felt his heart starting to hurt. He was confused and he was even convinced she had some quirk to cause a heart attack, but after carefully looking into those bright blue eyes, he saw no malice, only kindness.

After their first meeting, they would meet almost every day. Lon’qu still stayed on top of his swordsmanship and continued refining his art by fighting villains. However he would always make time for going to the butterfly field where he would find Ke’ri and they would just talk to each other. He found out that she was from the nearby village and she loved butterflys.

When he asked her what she like about it she took off the top part of her kimono and turned around showing her bare back to him, making steam come from his ears as he was flustered a young innocent girl like her would do something so indecent.

However, she seemed to have a tattoo of butterfly wings and then all of a sudden, they became real butterfly wings. He realized that the wings were her quirk.

“What do you think? Are they cool?” she said as she started fluttering them. He learned that she was coming to watch butterflies because not only did she think they were beautiful, but because she wanted to see how they fly so she could fly too!

He figured out that she had a dream of moving to Japan and attending UA, the school All Might attended, in order to find a way to use her quirk to help other people.

Lon’qu thought that her innocence and her dream were stupid at first but it wasn’t until she showed him a video on her phone of All Might saving people with a smile on his face did he realize why she wanted to be a hero. The fact that All Might could go into a collapsing building just to save people and still have a smile on his face, showed him that All Might must have had to suffer tremendously to not waver, and his willpower must be tremendous to never let that smile go. And with that, Lon’qu understood it all.

“Ke’ri, when the time comes, I want to go with you to UA. I may not have a strong quirk, but I will become the best swordsman and be a hero just like All Might! However, I want to be a hero with you!”

He said with a flushed face, but determined eyes. After the months they had spent together talking with each other about themselves and their dreams, he couldn’t deny that he was fond of Ke’ri. He now had a new goal, that was to become a hero that would make Ke’ri proud! And with that proclamation, she smiled and gave Lon’qu a kiss on his cheek.

After that moment, the two of them became lovers and their love was truly perfect. Lon’qu trained even harder so he could become her hero, and 2 years past and they both became 12 years old. Lon’qu was now a full fledged Myrmidon, and he had truly become a force to be reckoned with. He now fought against many Yakuza’s with the odds stacked against him but with his power, he could slice one after another like it was easy. Ke’ri and Lon’qu were always together in their field and they would always spend time talking and she loved to watch Lon’qu train.

However, unbeknownst to them, the higher ups of the Yakuza, who have been getting cut down by Lon’qu over the years are become angered at his constant interferences in their business. Lon’qu didn’t know it, but he messed up a huge deal when he attacked some Yakuzas in an alley that caused a great loss. Originally they thought it was cute that he was just trying to play hero and that they were at fault for being weak, but when he messed things up for their business, they couldn’t let him go.

Lon’qu and Ke’ri were sitting in their field, holding hands and watching the butterflies, when all of a sudden, Lon’qu felt with his 6th sense a great danger approaching. The Yakuzas were done playing around and sent some of their strongest hitmen to finally get rid of the Chon’sin sword demon.

Lon’qu realized then that he may have put Ke’ri in great danger as they finally revealed themselves. He could feel their murderous intent and he knew that their would be a lot of blood in this precious field today.
